No one prays to the Almighty God and says 'please make me famous...I'll do anything you want me to' without going through Jesus first. Because you can't get to God like that. God cannot look at sin. There had to be a sacrifice to show how much you love Him. And Matthew did not love God.. God knew this. So Matthew lived his life. Not the way Jesus asks us to follow Him then He meets our needs and wants . Matthew did it backwards. I pray he had the chance in making it right with Jesus. He was a funny guy. Such a sad situation
