- After the death of Alexander, Vash takes command of the remnants of the 1st Kronus Regiment. Seeing all is lost, he orders a techpriest to overload the core of the Titan weapon, destroying it and their enemies.
Music: Oldboy - 23 - The Big Sleep (Jo Yeong-wook) - บันเทิง
"To each of us falls a task, and all that the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we stand the line and that we die fighting. It is what we do best: We die standing..."
Amen Bruva
"You die standing... for the Emperor !"
All things considered, this was the best course of action.
Especially knowing this canon was possessed by a demon of Nurgle
@@Sir_Bucket "Cannon"
@@Sir_Bucket did IG know that though?
@@M3Lucky I think it was only the Chaos ending the cannon has a nurgle demon in it
@@23tovarm5 If you read the regional description events on the world map, there are other hints/foreshadowing that the Titan canon is possessed by a Chaos demon, such as some of the local humans forming a cult worshipping the thing even when under Tau rule.
Actuall game: Bloodthirster, melee combat, daemons, berserkers, magic, vehicles, brutality
Cutscene: Few Chaos Spacemarines shooting
Acolyte of Madness And they can be invisible too if you got infiltration.
Yes its stupid idea to fight guard at ranged combat and only Tau can outgun them
Actual game: 1 necron lord
Cutscene: horde of necron warriors
Ahahahahah
I once built a horde of turrets & it made it to the cutscene as Space Marines. It shot everything including the techpriest to the point it no longer shot him.
When I beat the Guard, my chaos marines had cloaking on during the cutscene so the guard kinda just stood there and took the shots without shooting back
Same here.
Same as well.
Ye, its funny
imperial guards are stubborn and brave suns of bitches, that much is obvious.
vash: overload the core *runs back into the battle, literally into like fifty chaos troops*
its Captain Vash to you
Colonel if only they had won
@@mojewjewjew4420 He becomes Colonel Vash if the Blood Ravens defeat the Imperial Guard, I believe
@@thetrippedup9322 He is mentioned in the ig end and promoted.
He isnt mentiones by the BR, do you have a source for your claim?
@@mojewjewjew4420 I remembered the endings incorrectly, I thought he was one of the survivors, but he isn't.

0:20 I just want to say: Kudos to that one guardsmen who stood his ground against ten chaos space marines.
I mean, he was dead either way, might as well buy that tech priest 2 seconds to try and blow the place up
Cadia stands
Guardsmen don't die, they just go to fight alongside the Emperor...
well said.

Kronus Liberators Defeat in a nutshell:
"Techpriest Ramirez, Destroy the Gun!"
"Foooor teh Empra--"
*BOOM*
Should have said omnissiah, the machine spirit obviously got mad and exploded
@@ChickenFartx The emperor is the omnissiah.
They held the fucking line, for the Emperor and for Terra.
Sergeant: "Overload the core"
Techpriest: "For the Emperor!" (turn energy levels from medium rare to charcoal)
...
Chaos: "We did it! We destroyed the forces of the Corpse God! Blood for the blood -"
[Eliphas found his forces becoming boiled eggs in ensuring nuclear blast]
The Guardsmen have the quality's of true heros. They stand in the face of danger with a flak vest, a lasgun, and a bayonet, all supported by some guts.
Techpriest: (pokes Titan core) Titan: NOOOOO POINTE STICKS MY ONE WEAKNESS 'KABOOM'
"Overload the core!"
*unscrews*
*KABOOOOOOOOM*
"Oh look! A Power Generator!! ATTTACKKKK!!!!"
They were more attracted to the power source than the threat.... almost like flies to a zapper xD
Chaos soldier: shit man were dead!
Heretic: why?
Chaos soldier: were attacking a stronghold!
Heretic: so!
Those things always blow up after we take them!!
*sighs* I just finished this battle, and I was so touched. I mean, I played as Chaos as well, but I am a true fan of the Imperial guard. I came SOOO close to crying. I'm so pathetic, lols.
That damned opera singer is nothing compared to the glory that is Alexandr the Meerkat...
rip in ppeace kasrkin sergeant, who order techpriest to overload the titan core
What's cool is how the Tech-Priest managed to overload the Big Freaking Cannon by just hitting the door with his big wrentch-axe thing.
Every time you play as Chaos and you have the invisibility upgrade, these cutscenes are hilarious when they can't shoot back.
Chaos Marine: "We had won! Let's destroy and desecrate whatever's left of this Imperial base... wait, is that a Techpriest trying to overload the cann - "
[Epic KABOOM]
Eliphas: "Great, how am I going to get Insurance to cover for all my dead troops?"
Sorcerer: "I think Lord Beerax wants a word with you, my Apostle, on that matter."
*explosion*
eliphas: oh well, blood for the blood gods :3
The Techpriest was cool...
techpriest, the original for the emprah
I use to play this game since I was 3 and my brother 5...sigh...those days
When the four killer Guardsmen are on their day off
"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making other poor dumb bastards die for his country" (George S. Patton)
The words before that scene...
Alexander:I cant believe how The Emperor believed in trash like you!
Eliphas the Inheritor:Oh!Imagine how we believed in him!
Blood for the Blood God
If only he knew that big E gave Lorgar multiple warnings to knock it off.

0:34 Why is the techpriest saying "For the Emperor?" It'd be more accurate if he said "For the Omnissiah" or something.
Demi white MY GUY, Tech-priests see the Emperor as the Omnissiah and leader of humanity
Officially the Admech recognizes the Emperor as an aspect of the Omnissiah, in part or in whole the physical form of the Machine God. In practice this varies from sect to sect: Some rejecting his divine status and paying lip service to the worship of Him On Terra to stay inside the lines and avoid strife with the Ecclessiarchy while others worship the Emperor-Omnissiah as a single techno-messanic being who brought the light of forgotten knowledge to all Mankind and resurrected as one the twin empires of Terra and Mars.
Damn, those chaos boys killed almost as many guardsmen as your average commissar
We die standing
Heroes never die.
I still don't see the appeal in the Orks. I'm amazed at how they haven't lost yet, considering their quite fragile, massively disorganized, And use mostly stolen equipment.
vincent834 it is their extreme and superior wildness that makes them strong. They always surprise their enemies with ramshackle machines with extremely powerful weaponry and storm the enemy in many boyz. They are not fragile, they are resilient and tough, increasing in size as they live and win more battles. Disorganized? Pfft, might makes right my friend, the Warboss knows best. And all warbosses are low-cunning, making them worthy commanders. And they improve stolen equipment to be more effective. They reproduce by spores, making an endless supply of Orks. That is why they never lose, THERE DA BESTEST IN DA WHOLE UNIVERSE
The Orks are a race of walking bioweapons, released half-finished and gone feral in the wild. They organize like barbarian stereotypes on the surface, but in practice it becomes a well-oiled military machine with elements of holy war and pub crawl.
Similarly, their weapons and equipment are cobbled together from whatever they can find but the underlying principles are sound. If the Orks used better workmanship and materials in their wargear it would obviously be simple and rugged but incredibly efficient and well designed, and the difference is made up by the same the low level psychic field that binds them into a cohesive force and empowers their battle-psykers when they go to war.
Also, Orks fragile? U fucking wot m8? Their internal organs are literally half-plant and designed to function partially with gaping holes, their circulatory and nervous systems are as distributed and redundant as a Bipeds can be, their skin is tougher than cured leather, and their torsos are stuffed with natural impact foam with ballistic properties. You can literally put the severed head of an Ork in a bucket of warm water and then sew it onto a completely different Orks body, and as long as yo make the connections right he'll walk it off. They're angry British football fans with the anatomy of a Nokia crossbred with pool scum.
Dakota Adams BOI! It is fungus my dude! Fungi are not plants!
Insane reproduction, and the crowd mentality powered waaaagh magic, which literally alters reality to make the Ork junk machines and weapons work as they think it will.
Of course vehicles don't go faster because you paint it red and add race stripes to it. But the Orks thinks it does and so it does.
Its good to know that the controls to self-destruct the titan gun are on the OUTSIDE
"It is what we do best, we die standing" - General Sturn, also captured by the BigDickCheney series.
guard and space marines have the best defeat videos
Because I recorded these videos as I played through DC with Chaos.
The Imperial Guard literally goes out with a bang.
Could have gone better for the IG, this.
Also, appreciate the use of that Oldboy OST. People should watch that movie more (and avoid the American remake like the plague).
accoriding to DoW2, the Blood Ravens won Dark Crusade. They mention how the Marines took down the Necrons and how they had to kill the guardsmen
Wow. Awesome.
The Eldar are wicked awesome.
The Necrons are cool, too.
The space marines are cool, again, and are quite simplistic.
On my side, the Tau were my first favorite when I was younger, and the Imperial guard have awesome tanks and units. On your side, the dark eldar I'm not a fan of, but in the Table Top they just wreck in Close Quarters. (Meaning they demolish.)
The Dark Eldar I think were the ones who made the chaos god Slaanesh which killed the Eldar off, I think.
Clearly xeno/heretical propaganda
zebro Only a filthy heretic would say that. *BLAM!*
I mean the tech priest said “for the emperor” not for the omnissiah
I mean the guard are fighting to last, like they are expected to do. More like imperial propaganda
@@blackwhite47 The guard dont fight to the last, they win
@@maverick5640 say that to all Cadian's home plant. Make no mistake i love the guard
always remember the blood is in all space marines ....even chaos....
@KamuiKunitsuna I never thought of that! I ended up winning this mission with old-fashioned attrition. I had to cut through over 2000 of their units and probably fought for the better part of 3 hours before I finally destroyed their HQ.
During the Great Crusade, the Emperor rescued many AdMech worlds, and for a while, they believed the Emperor an aspect of the Omnissiah. This kind of fell to the wayside once he got thrashed by Horus, supposedly.
as a matter of fact they did, but the hellstorm cannon had to have time to charge
Wouldn't it be funny if the tech priest ran into it while talking shit about Chaos?
Tech Priest:****ing Chaos. **** all the Chaos Gods. I'd kick their ass if I had a regiment of my own.... Oh shiiit!
Daemon of Nurgle: What you say?
Tech Priest: Oh man, I think I just crapped my pants...
honourable guardsman
SQUAD BROKEN!!! WE CAN'T HOLD THEM!!! ARBLGARBL!!!!
No, they were introduced in dark crusade but it dosen't mean they're the main characters, if anybody is the main character its the blood ravens because they end up winning in dark crusade cannonically and since you can play as any race in the campaign there alot of options as to what happens in each story
They're the loyalist thousand suns, the siege of terra started as the loyalist elements of the legion were trying to meet up with Leman Russ to help him kill Magus the Red. They never got another primarch-like figure, hence the name. We're talking about the same person
you know, he is called The Unknown Primarch for a reason.
so I'm playing as the necrons and I'm new to crusade and I'm just wondering how do u guys defeat strongholds? like strategies for the necrons?
i may never see this part. while waiting for the other armies to go as the space marines, the chaos shot out the last piece of imperial guard territory
Did you just pu that music in for effect or is that actually in the game?
Seregant: Okay we are screwed, get the escape pod ready.
Techpriest: Sure thing. Dun-dudu-dudu, getting the escape pod ready... Wait... It shouldnt sound like that.... Did I press the wrong buttom?
BOOOM!
[Start of video - 0:19]
《What few survivors remained of the 1st Kronus Regiment were making a last stand effort to defend the Titan Cannon against the Blood Ravens - whom they loathed no differently than the traitors of the Chaos Gods...》
《Yet, they still fell one by one to their bolters and superior tactics... their lasguns could barely scathe their armor. The survivors were doomed to fail.》
[0:20 - 0:28]
《Tech Priestess Alma, mortified of the ongoing slaughter, is swiped aside by Lieutenant-captain Darius Kliner...》
Priestess: "The command post..."
Lieutenant: "It's gone, and we don't have much time left, ma'am. There's no way we're going to win this... we both know what needs to be done."
《Alma's servos, in that moment, expressed as much fear in her eyes as any other guardsman's...》
Priestess: "You hypothesize we blow the core, don't you?"
Lieutenant: "I do - and you will if you want to do the Omnissiah justice this day."
Priestess: "But to desecrate this relic of the Horus Heresy..."
Lieutenant: "Would be to spare it from falling into the possession of those whom may wish to use it against those the machine spirit never meant to kill. The Emperor and the Omnissiah bear fruit from the same soil, and I will buy you as much time as I possibly can. Now go!"
[0:29 - 0:39]
《Priestess Alma can still faintly hear the guardsmen struggling in the distance, running to the Titan Cannon as fast as her cybernetics could carry her.》
《Once inside, she immediately approached the power core of the colossal weapon... and reflected before committing to her great sacrifice... she then, with nothing else but will alone in her gaze, struck the core with the pike of her own power axe.》
Priestess: _"FOR THE EMPEROR!"_
[0:40 - End of video]
《The Blood Ravens, after having finished the entire Kronus Regiment, began to work their way towards the marvelous Titan Cannon, unaware of Alma's sabotage...》
"Brother Avitus! This one still lives!"
《The current Brother-Captain of the invading force was a Devastator Marine... Astartes whom specialize in heavy weapons - named Avitus.》
Avitus: "Allow me - I will kill the traitorous guardsman myself."
《As he approached and grasped the barely living Lieutenant-captain, he uttered his last words...》
Lieutenant: "Are any of us truly traitors..? For all I saw were loyal men and women on both sides of this battlefield... If you value yourself as much as your brothers and The Emperor - you will run..."
《Suddenly, the cannon's power generator blew into flames - nitrogen spewing from its tanks!》
_(WARNING!: FATAL ERROR! - CORE OVERLOAD IMMINENT! - EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY!)_
Avitus: "You fool! What have you done!?"
Lieutenant: "That which the Omnissiah would will upon me just as much as the Emperor would, young marine. Goodbye, my angel..."
《As the Blood Ravens retreat to safety, the Titan Cannon can be heard tearing itself apart inside-out from the distance...》
I remember winning that missions with Necrons by simply teleporting my Necron Lord over the small river to the HQ and destroyed it, when he died I ressurected him on the spot. Easiest mission in the campaign.
it is the emperor which they serve, the most respected i suggest.
@RockyX456 "we dont acctually know if the eldar are a dying race", is that yes they were a dying race, BUT at this moment in time, eldar numbers could be on the rise, there is also many craftworlds that have just simply "dissapeared". there is some evidence to support that some of these craftworlds made web way jumps into deep unchartered space and began to settle and start afresh. i mentioned that humanity should ask for eldar help is that humanity is unaware of the reAL chaos faces to them.
the meaning of true heroism
Long Live The Imperial Guard!
I agree with you.
...have you noticed how Eliphas -insists- on calling Davian "brother"?
I love chaos because they'll love you back if you just accept them...mostly.
poor guardsmen. *salute*

@KamuiKunitsuna Easiest mission in campaign is Blood Ravens stronghold with Imperial Guard. HQ may be destroyed by orbital fire with the help of scan from IG HQ.
There's actually a daemon of Nurgle laying dormant inside the cannon!

This has too be the saddest music in any Dawn of War game.
IG defeat is one of the sadest cas they don't retreat like the rest of the factions, they die standing.
yeah u r right! IG is AWESOME!

Well the baneblades varients really take the cake! STORMLORD WITH THE VULCAN MEGA BOLTER! That rips through ALL INFANTRY! even space marines can't handle it!
Chaos Undivided!!!
Yeah at least chaos don't didn't have their grimy hands on the titan
my marines were invincible at that part xD
IG didnt spent a bullet at this scene at mine :D
Well, orkz have a squad of Choppa Boyz at the beginning of the map... And if you fight Necrons with Orkz, a non-stop rush will be more than enough to destroy monolith...
@yttihp11 (Continue) Thaedus and a couple of his squad mates trusted a ranger, and they were killed (except Thaedus). To trust them would be to dangerous, even suicidal. They share their information only when it benefits them, and only the bits they want them to know, like Tzeenth (Chaos God of Sorcery...hm connection?) And humans will never become relaxed like the Eldars with their whole "pleasure filling crap." The Tyranids exist outside their galaxy, and any strike anytime. Orks still exist.
Guess you'll have to make due :)
I would think that the tech priest would argue a bit more over the destruction of the cannon. They are dumb like that
hold the line!!!!
