The Baneblade can be further given a pintle mounted weapon and hunter seeker missiles, bringing the total up to 13 (although they only count as 11 weapons).
They are so rare that some companies upgrade a Leman Russ tank, adding lascannons and an extra battle cannon if they are short on Baneblades.
In the storyline, the vast majority are produced in the sacred forges of Mars, with a select few other Forge Worlds granted the right to build it or one of its variants.

I really love this intro. All of the other commanders at their strongholds "WE WILL WIN AND KILL IN THE NAEM OF TEH EMPRAH/CHAOS/GREATER GOOD/WAAAGH" Here we see Vance Motherfucking Stubs. He knows what's coming, he knows he can't avoid it, and he knows it's going to be bloody. Sure, somehow he lost 100 baneblades but he's a competent commander with a sincere respect for his soldiers and a proper vision for the future. This is why IG victory is cannon and not BOREALUM.

An emperor class titan is the biggest type (I think, stop me if I'm wrong) but there are plenty of others much weaker. Even against an emperor class, the baneblade can come with titan hunter missiles which could cause a lot of hurt.

The guard ending of Soul Storm is the true ending of Dawn of War Soul Storm. Because it is mentioned in Dawn of War 2 commander Boreal and many others died in the Caruva Campaign
[Edit] I think it's also possible the true ending is the Necrons ending because Cyrus mentions Necrons killed a lot of Blood Ravens in Dawn of War Soulstorm.

100 Baneblades, seems reasonable, thats about 10 super heavy companies. In a game that is a battle over an entire star system. There have been greater engagements in the 41st millennial with over eight thousand tank COMPANIES and THIRTY FIRE super heavy tank detachments.
And these were merely the ones annihilated during the near total destruction of a renegade Titan Legio.
