The eldar fight not to win worlds or destroy stars any more.. they fight to alter fate. Their machinations lie in altering critical events in the timeline like knocking over dominoes. They just have to find the right one.
If that's so they are pretty shit at it. Remember DoW 1? "Don't shatter the stone! There's a demon inside!" would have been the right way to choose. In DoW 2, warning the entir sector that a tyranids fleet was coming instead of throwing orks at a fucking space marine chapter would have worked (I know the orks would have delaied the tyranids, but it would have worked if the orks could establish a serious defense, which is unlikely on a space marine's recuitement world)

Besides that, we´re talking about Ulthwe Eldars here, which generally maniipulate other species to achieve their goals. It´s the reason how they survived for a long time. I mean the Imperials respected the alliance at first and were even thankful to the Eldar for their secret help but it was so uncalled for. Depends on which ending though, I although I like the imperial ending more than the Eldar one. They are as much responsible for the Imperium not trusting them when they dont even honor the alliance. Don't forget that the Eldar were responsible for the birth of Slaneesh and technically responsible for upsettin the balance in the Warp since most of the Chaos gods were neutral before and was never directly involved until Slaneesh arrived. And they have the gall to say how they better than most other species when they themselves are a dying race and their souls practically go to Slaneesh when they die.

The risk isn't anybody fully taking over because they know that nobody can do that and survive. Taldeer conquered Kronus to keep the Necrons from digging in and gaining momentum and to keep the various scumbag armies from getting too powerful. Chaos needs to go for obvious reasons. Orks only need to go when their boss gets too big for his britches and you can't influence the bastards anymore. The Tau don't really need to go, but stepping over them was a necessity to punt the others off the planet. The Imperial Guard have it out for Taldeer and would have torn up more than just Kronus looking for her after catching her scent. The Space Marines are monsters, and the Blood Ravens are, spoiler alert, not aware that they're actually working for Chaos.

Playing Eldar is great if you know how to handle them! Invisible buildings and the ability to relocate them is really handy in annoying your multiplayer opponents ahaha! Players assume that they can overrun an eldar army in a direct all out attack, but if the eldar player has Teched up and researched wargear optics+ and reinforced armour+ then the eldar become quite durable.... and then there is the avatar of khaine! "I WALK AGAIN, A GOD AMONGST MERE MORTALS!"

I don't think Idranel just wanted to blew up the Tyranids. If so, she could have just helped the Blood Ravens in shadow. I'm pretty sure she wanted to destroy both the Blood Raven and the Tyranids, because the two of them were a threat for the burried Craftworld Even if there is million Warboss through the Galaxy, that don't mean you have to let them grow in power. And maybe Taldeer forseen that later, he could be a threat for Caerys Warhost on Kaurava. Even if Alexander could not attack a Craftworld, he can attack Exodite. And having a furious IG General on the back each time you leave Ulthwe, could be problematic when you want to take care of greater threat.

I remember many multiplayer matches on the popular "Kaysier Lauten" map were I would rush a bonesinger to the back corner of the enemy's base and build a webway gate... many noobs dont take notice of that annoying eldar sound when you cloak your buildings haha. Well, in keeping and living in planet probably attract even more enemys. They instead using them craftworlds to live, which are extremly safe... Better use some Imperium or orks to provide them security for them.

I agree. What is stupid in the game, the Striking Scorpions should have been in there, which is an awesomely cool close combat unit. They use stealth which is rare for any close combat unit, and they could be cheap considering they have good armor and stealth... Yeah, and they only have two close combat units to be real, other than Avatar and Harlequins. Tau are awesome at range, which I like. Both races rock.
Um not really, they usually called me that (and a few other expletives) when I was their last enemy left and I just teleported everywhere building webway gates and cloaking them. It wasted time and made them earn their victory because they had to destroy all the webway gates to achieve an 'annihilate' victory.

When I first played Dow, I was thinking: Come on, Angelos, what takes so long for you to join forces with the Eldar against Chaos. At the moment, I just wish their whole race to overrun by Slaanesh Marines. Taldeer would certainly deserve it above everyone else.
well i could see tau and eldar teaming up definatly not orks. SM are kinda crazy about killing xenos so theres like no chance and the imperial guard....maybe but tau and eldar will kill all. Eldar are great with close-combat and tau are very advanced and great with ranged weaponery so they would be able to kill most enemies.
I know that The Eldar did create Slaanesh, but didn't the everybody else create the other 3 Chaos Gods? I thought the Chaos Gods were born out of the emotions of all sentient life or something to that effect.
Not quite sure, but I don't think so. From what I've read so far, Nurgle is the oldest of the Chaos Gods, born from death and decay itself. Khorne was the second born, coming into the existence of Terra's middle ages, and then Tzeentch came into existence. But I don't think that specific races are responsible for the birth of each of these gods, or else there'd probably be more Eyes of Terror for each of these empires. You also have to remember that Eldar souls reflect heavily in the Warp due to them being a psychic race. That, plus the perversion of the ancient Eldar empire meant that the depravity coalesced into what would become Slaanesh. Otherwise, Nurgle is just the force of death as a whole, part of the galaxy since the beginning, Khorne is a manifestation of large-scale conflict, and Tzeentch embodies the driving force of change.

If Taldeer knew about Kyras corruption, she probably see in the Blood Raven a bigger threat (after all we do not fully know the nature of the relics burried on this planet).

Farseer Aradrel Eldar would probably give zero fucks about some mon'keigh pursuing them (why do they pursue her anyway? I thought it was IG who cannonicaly won Winter assault) and killing every single warboss in the galaxy would just be a waste of time, there is nothing so special about Gorgutz. Also, if they knew about blood ravens corruption, they would probably leave IG alive to find some sort of evidence left in their stronghold

This sentence makes absolutely no sense. How are those two things related in any way? Idranel only wanted to blow up sub-sector Aurelia because of tyranids. If empire found evidence of blood ravens corruption, it would greatly diminish their threat to anyone.

There are milions of orks like Gorgutz troughout the galaxy. Eldar have neither the manpower nor time to kill every warrboss and warlord in the galaxy.

I don't think Idranel just wanted to blew up the Tyranids. If so, she could have just helped the Blood Ravens in shadow. I'm pretty sure she wanted to destroy both the Blood Raven and the Tyranids, because the two of them were a threat for the burried Craftworld
Even if there is million Warboss through the Galaxy, that don't mean you have to let them grow in power. And maybe Taldeer forseen that later, he could be a threat for Caerys Warhost on Kaurava.
Even if Alexander could not attack a Craftworld, he can attack Exodite. And having a furious IG General on the back each time you leave Ulthwe, could be problematic when you want to take care of greater threat.

I remember many multiplayer matches on the popular "Kaysier Lauten" map were I would rush a bonesinger to the back corner of the enemy's base and build a webway gate... many noobs dont take notice of that annoying eldar sound when you cloak your buildings haha. Those noobs were sitting ducks!

eldar are like silent assassins . dont knock them, they lost craftworld lyanden so that hive fleet Kraken wouldnt consume the planets belonging to the imperium. all the time they stop all consuming races like the necrons

Well, in keeping and living in planet probably attract even more enemys. They instead using them craftworlds to live, which are extremly safe... Better use some Imperium or orks to provide them security for them.

I agree. What is stupid in the game, the Striking Scorpions should have been in there, which is an awesomely cool close combat unit. They use stealth which is rare for any close combat unit, and they could be cheap considering they have good armor and stealth... Yeah, and they only have two close combat units to be real, other than Avatar and Harlequins. Tau are awesome at range, which I like. Both races rock.

There are actually others, they're called Malice, Ans'l Mo'rcck, Phraz-Etar and possibly another worshipped by Raptors.
Um not really, they usually called me that (and a few other expletives) when I was their last enemy left and I just teleported everywhere building webway gates and cloaking them. It wasted time and made them earn their victory because they had to destroy all the webway gates to achieve an 'annihilate' victory.

@alexzombiekiller choas would crush them seeing as they have a portal directly to hell summoning demons and corrupting space marines for their cause and Eldar are great with close combat am i currently in a comma dreaming u thinking that because when i played as eldars all i could do is stay out of the enimes range and shoot them because my unit had a maximum of 40 close combat damage and seeing as with one upgrade choas space marines turn invisible i think Tau and Eldar would lost badly.

well i could see tau and eldar teaming up definatly not orks. SM are kinda crazy about killing xenos so theres like no chance and the imperial guard....maybe but tau and eldar will kill all. Eldar are great with close-combat and tau are very advanced and great with ranged weaponery so they would be able to kill most enemies.

I know that The Eldar did create Slaanesh, but didn't the everybody else create the other 3 Chaos Gods? I thought the Chaos Gods were born out of the emotions of all sentient life or something to that effect.
Not quite sure, but I don't think so. From what I've read so far, Nurgle is the oldest of the Chaos Gods, born from death and decay itself. Khorne was the second born, coming into the existence of Terra's middle ages, and then Tzeentch came into existence. But I don't think that specific races are responsible for the birth of each of these gods, or else there'd probably be more Eyes of Terror for each of these empires.
You also have to remember that Eldar souls reflect heavily in the Warp due to them being a psychic race. That, plus the perversion of the ancient Eldar empire meant that the depravity coalesced into what would become Slaanesh. Otherwise, Nurgle is just the force of death as a whole, part of the galaxy since the beginning, Khorne is a manifestation of large-scale conflict, and Tzeentch embodies the driving force of change.

It was gabriel anglos agree the alliance made by farseer taldeer didn't he?..they forge an alliance to destroy the Eldar's nesmsi..the nercrons?..farseer didn't have any interest in the imperial guard titan's ulimate weapon..but i doubt Eldar can team up with SM..they sound reasonable to battle side by side with human forces..there's also humans in Eldar race isn't it?..Tau can be too..
