Thanks for watching and all the great comments, i will get back to everyone over the weekend 👍 Watch the initial hedge renovation here: th-cam.com/video/QBE7HBW1y8A/w-d-xo.html
It really isnt by eye, thats the whole point of the orange guard/flat base to keep the blade flat from the previous cut. It would definitely be harder if he didnt have that, but its not by eye once you get the start going, just need to keep the trimmer flat
I feel ya, shit I stay on here so much lately I get all kinds of random stuff! It’s like the algorithm is like who the hell is this guy he likes way too many things, what else do we show him😂
I don't think anybody could cut that edge in the beautiful garden I think you have to be credibly skilled with that hedge trimmer to keep it straight and level I've seen people can't Hedges but this man is brilliant
Great job man! As a 20 something year landscape maintenance technician (gardener) I love these type of hedges. Easy height, level ground, grass cleanup and all square. Gets tough when it's really tall, odd round shaped, on a slope and over gorilla hair!
I have just found your videos. This is the most perfect hedge cutting I have ever seen. Wow! Beautiful. So glad I came across this one. My hedges were so bad and difficult to get through. You make it look easy but I know it's hard work. Well done.. 🤗👍
It’s so nice to watch a craft person at work that trusts their own judgement ( without using special gizmos to get everything perfectly square etc)…- Nice work and well done.
At last, I've found someone on utube that can cut hedges, maybe you should think about doing some tutorials at a cost so others can learn. I could watch you all day, even your tidy up was cleanly done. Love it
It takes a person with such passion and perfection to do this. It looked simple but when you actually look at how it's done believe you me it is a whole lot different. Thank you for sharing a wonderful video and hope to see much more. ❤❤❤
I grew up with a small hedge in front of my suburban home. It was always fun to be able to use the corded hedge trimmers on that. For a hedge the size of the one in this video, I think I'd have to use a laser level to make sure it was straight!
He changed from petrol to battery. Many reason to have and use both. The main reason being the battery one is much lighter and easier to control. Not sure if the first one he used had an adjustable handle and the battery one certainly did. They both do the same thing, if I am honest, I use battery most of the time but I still use my petrol one as and when needed.
My goodness, look how clean the edges are! Would you be able to share some tips? My hedge is always curvy and lumpy both on top and the side when I trim them with my battery double blade trimmer… I have 2 months experience as an amateur gardener haha! Thanks for showing us your great work
never seen an orange hedge trimmer like that before. man what skills you have, i would of had it up & down wide, thin. lol you are one more skilled man.❤❤❤❤❤
Former greens keeper and landscaper, used to love cutting a hedge or any topiary! Used to do it all by eye as well, always got them billiard table flat
Good practice going over the hedge with the shears after the hedge cutter can never get those awkward bits that stick out without a long arm with adjustable angle for the blades
Hello from sunny California Boy you have a great eye for trimming hedges, I did such a bad job on our my wife ask me to take it out and she planted flowers. Not everyone can do what you do. Thx for great videos

Como se chama esse arbusto?
What is the name and model type of the hedge trim appliance you are using, please
What fencing tree is this please? Great video. Thanks.
Yes.
There's something satisfying about watching a bloke who knows his craft.
Indeed, doesn't even matter what they're good it. Watching people being good at something is always a pleasure.
👌
This type of hedge probly 2nd only to a conifer hedge for thickness and general look once finished
Very aesthetically pleasing
Privet’s look amazing once they’ve been cut👌🏻
Cutting by eye now that is a skill. Fabulous job, great to see someone who takes such pride in their work.
Thanks, always take pride in my work, not worthwhile doing it otherwise.
@@RJLgardens👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
is there any other way

Sort of have to do it by eye 😂
I can't tell if I'm getting recommended this because I'm getting older now or if this is just the popular 😂
Well my analytics say most watchers are 35+, so... maybe 😂. The youngens these days havent got the attention span for my boring vids. 👍

Lots of people getting old
I love wild gardens too but there's something so alluring about the perfection of formal gardens.
Both nice, but i definitely prefer formal gardens, more work for me 😅
I love doing proper hedge cuts like this, gives you a sense of artistic achievement and you’ve had a workout as well.
Great job satisfaction on these ones 👍
Nice to see I'm not the only UK Gardner that uses single sided trimmers
Do you ever use a tarp on the ground to catch the trimmings? Seems clean up would be easier…
Love my single siders, dont know why more people dont use them.
@@RJLgardens I like to swish and swoosh with my trimmers, one sided only lets you swish 😂
I haven’t seen such a nicely trimmed bush in a long time
Cheeky !
You been looking in the wrong places then mate! 😂
😂😂😂
There are some on pornhub
I bet his clients love him. What a great job.
I hope they do 😅, thanks
Nice to see the same gardens actually, updates
Thought people would be getting bored of them by now 👍
@@RJLgardens maybe when it's always the same, but here the hedge was cut down hard, idk when there is something interesting to see
I love that orange catcher thing on the hedgetrimmer, looks like it works a treat.
I don't think anybody could cut that edge in the beautiful garden I think you have to be credibly skilled with that hedge trimmer to keep it straight and level I've seen people can't Hedges but this man is brilliant
Thanks, its not that hard to do with this hedge really 👍
Easy done after years of experience you get an eye for it ..but takes time
Even the clean up was perfection.
..согласна с вами 👍

Thanks man, yeh these ones are a joy to trim, i wish they were all like this. 👍
The lyrics of Huey Lewis sums it up best, it’s hip to be square! 👍
🤣
Hey sir, you did a great job. Thanks for taking all the extra time to make the video for the masses. Incredibly satisfying result.

🤣👌
Somehow, each of us can become a professional tree pruner. I learned many things from your videos, thank you for sharing
It’s so nice to watch a craft person at work that trusts their own judgement ( without using special gizmos to get everything perfectly square etc)…- Nice work and well done.
Nice one cheers, yeh i dont mess around with levels and lasers, unless its required absolutely perfect 😅
A real professional! A faithful eye and golden hands.
Thanks 😊
This hedge trimming is up an other level AMAZING SKILLS YOU HAVE ❤❤❤
You are by no means wrong. This guy is just amazing . Be looking for more of your videos.
Much appreciated 😊
👌
what in the eyeballin perfection was this?!?!
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
🥰🥰💖✨😍
Ive always wondered why no one has made a trimmer with a bubble leveler on it to help keep it straight?
Water seeks its own level - one evidence that we don't live on a fake NASA globe
Good idea, if it could be implemented correctly, not sure how though 🤔
At last, I've found someone on utube that can cut hedges, maybe you should think about doing some tutorials at a cost so others can learn. I could watch you all day, even your tidy up was cleanly done. Love it

Yes I do enjoy watching your videos. You have a great work ethic which is sadly lacking in lots of workers today. Please share more videos with us.
It takes a very keen eye to get such pruning straight and looking proper. You did it well...

That hedge looks amazing. You could put a spirit level against it! Well done.
Thanks, its not that perfect though 😅
