- The Homeowner asked me to trim his Overgrown hedge, but when I saw the yard I realized that a simple trim was not going to help as the weeds were growing everywhere, so I decided that I would also do a little clean up, removing weeds from the sidewalk and parking lot, leveling the overgrown lawn edging and finally mowing the lawn as the owners had not done this in a while.

This is the kind of garden cleanup that seems never-ending. Every time you think you're done you turn the corner and there is another part of the yard that is more overgrown than the last. Exhausting work. You did a nice job.

I had originally thought the same - that it had been vacant or the occupants were very ill. I was surprised to hear there was an occupant and it didn't appear they were ill... But who knows what goes on in the lives of others. 🤷🏼♀️

Wow, this yard is beautiful. So much more manicured and cozy/small than the giant, empty yards in the US. It looks like a secret garden with all those privacy hedges.

So professional!!! I remember having hedges like this when I was little. My father hated trimming them, and me and my sisters were always getting poked by them. lol! My dad finally ripped them out (against my mother's wishes) and we were all happier except her. I really don't see that many here in the US , or at least in my state. It was a status symbol to have them, and usually the people who did/still do have caretakers to keep them trimmed. What a headache to have to keep up with them. The yard looked like it had too much planted and too close together. I would have had removed some of it. Keep up the great work!!! Kudos to you for doing it so well!
