We sold both of our 880 and got one 881. Starts easy cold, starts easy if you run it out of gas, doesn't flood easy. Doesn't even get dirty looks.
The amount of pull it has must be pretty amazing. He's a decent sized guy, and while he handles it with ease, even he has to brace well. Wild watching the wood chips pile up that fast.

The first guy had a seasaw technique that worked for him where the second guy struggled trying to maintain a low central angle to avoid the wood chips….i understand it but i would have started with the second guy’s approach initially then shifted it to the first after getting about a half blade in. This was genuinely interesting to watch. I definitely want to try it.

I got the opportunity to order one of those in with that bar a few years ago. I imagine running that saw is comparable to what it feels like to drive a tank etc. We don't have the option to order them with the 60" bar anymore

I've never seen something so close to perfection. Chainsaw was pretty decent as well
I've had a bad disk in my back since college. That thing is ridiculous. I'd have to go full beast mode to manage. I'd probably be crippled after but looks fun. The chainsaw however really looks surprisingly light for its size.
They surprisingly aren't that bad. I have 4 fused discs and degenerative disc disease but still run a 395xp with a 5 foot bar daily. I've ran a few of the 880s and 881s and they are really well balanced. Packing them in is the only thing that isn't great but, I always break my saw down and put it in a ruck on long hikes.
