I bought another Harbinger s12 subwoofer. Now,I own 2 S12 subs. What a difference it makes to own 2 subs. The bass is much deeper and can listen to more musical details not heard before. This is a great DJ audio set up. I am so glad that choose Harbinger. It sounds great in my house and there is lots of space for it to sounds it's best. I brought home that night club sound.

When you said depper what frequency are you meaning to describe ? I hear people saying deep bass or punchy but don't specify the frequency or don't how to describe in frequency

I bought an MLS900 array setup and used it for a party at my kids high school. Alone, it was nearly loud enough to fill the small gymnasium. I thought it needed a little more bottom end so I picked up the S12. They work great together. The S12 has much more bottom than I need for the one array. I ended up buying another MLS900. I think with 2 MLS900's and the S12... i have a really decent acoustic show rig or small party rig. Saves me from carrying the 12's and 18 to smaller events.
I also have the 2312's and a pair of s12's, they sound amazing with the combo's. I always get compliments of the quality sound. People ask where I got the speakers and I tell them Guitar Center.

I wanted to share my story. I watched your videos so many times. It was very helpful and informative. I bought a pair of MLS1000 and one S12 subwoofer. I was able to price match $699 for the pair and used the credit to buy the harbinger s12 subwoofer. This sound system rocks and roll. By the way, the S12 was on sale $349.00. I recieved $217.00 credit. I used it towards the S12. I wanted an Alto ts318s but it is a monster sized enclosure . It was priced at $899. I thought about it. I remember you saying," use it as an instrument not as a tool." It will clip if you push it very hard. Make adjustments to all your settings and find a happy listening level to enjoy. It is used for home DJ audio set up. I have plenty of space for it to breath and sound its best in my house. A rule of thumb, don't buy big speakers for the size of your room. It sound not good. I brought home that night club sound. My high end audio sound system has aged and broke down. A DJ audio set up was a cheaper route then buying separate components. This will be a new experience for me. It sounds F^$^$k Great!!! Great price and value for your money. I will enjoy this sound system. I may upgrade in future. I am not a musician or have that trained ear to say this set up sucks. Remember it takes 32 seconds for an audio system to excite your senses. Trust your gut. Happy listening. Love to all audio enthusiasts

2/2315's and 2/s12's really sound great without breaking your bank account or your back. I've used other 15 and 18 subs that did not pack the punch that the Harbinger duo has.
I purchased an EV 12sp a few months ago. This seems very similar. I think that having 1 of either is good for home studio use. For actual live use I think that two would be better.

I commented as soon as you asked.:) I do have a question though please. I run 2 x Traynor (L+R) Block 12's for an electronic drum set in a live band setup. Vocals and occasionally keys also go through them. They are mainly used in the jam room with the family but we may want to play outside for a get together. The response in the jam room goes as low and loud as I need (far too loud for the kids!! :))...but I am curious if this unit will add what I figure I will need in an open environment. Thanks for these really helpful videos. I purchased one S12 a few weeks ago. I've used it at two gigs already with an older pair of harbinger vari v2212 speakers. I'm coming out of a Rane One direct to the subwoofer then out to the tops. But the sound isn't very good. I can't figure out yet what I'm doing wrong. I've read the manual. The sound is somewhat muffled and for some reason the volume seems to be low. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I Just got 2 of these bad boys. I am planning to set it up today with my 2 VARI1015 speakers. I also have an M200BT, any advice before I try it with the M200BT?
Might want to research that -10db / +4db switch. I believe XLR sends from mixing console are often +4 and 1/4in jacks are -10. In general if you match impedance of sending outputs with receiving inputs you'll get less distortion.
O'ya I have now spent the last Month investing Hours in reading all about -10 vs +4. More Great stuff I Knew this before (.75v vs 1v dB but just did not have the name for it).

I USED to have 2 matching qsc subs, earth shattering, but TOO big!.....I'm wondering if ONE Harbinger MAY add a richer dynamic to my sound, especially if I'm NOT at loud volumes.... with the ZLX you have many great options the Harbinger, ALTO, and the EV if you can go to a Guitar Center near you I like the TS315S From alto with the ZLX, you would want one for each Subwoofer.

Will they work well with the Alto troupers, i an Alto TS312S. I think theses might be the pick. What is your opinion.
Sure, why not? In my experience you can mix n match almost all speakers and subs of different manufacturers (as long as the sub is at least 1 size bigger than the tops woofer), if you use the crossover of the sub. Dont run the Troupers full range when combining them with a sub theyre not made to play with. But if you use the cross over, the sound most likely will be fine.
Btw: Because the amp power on the troupers is quite limited I think itll be a whole new experience to run them low cut with a separate sub!

how does it compare to the behringer b1200d. I have 2 of them and love them. They are easy to carry, but yeah I'd like just a bit more power.

@@expertisland thank you bro. Going to take my B1200d to GC to compare myself. I was also looking at the QSC Cp8 but may consider Harbinger 8 inch instead. I have 3 12 inch harbinger that have done great for me with live sound and DJ. Of course, QSC is a work horse, has name, price and maybe better quality, but may not be worth 4 times to cost.

Yes. Any brand Sub will work with EV ZLX Speakers. Outside of the quality of parts used, All Subs sound similar. More expansive subs will hit harder when talking 18" size, but with 12" Subs, only a small difference in how hard they hit between the brands when being pushed hard.

It should as long as you looking for only about 70 to 80 dB, I would like to see you use 2 s12 subwoofers or 1 alto ts315s try renting them the first time maybe.

I have a pair of JBL eon715'S for my mains. I have a Roland TD25KV drum set. I use a Boss GT-100-foot pedal direct. I want to put my bass player through the board. What do you recommend so Bass player no longer needs an Amp? Subwoofer?
I would go with a pair of Alto TS18s subwoofers the Bass player will really like how tight the bass is, and they will hold up with the EON715.
I bought 1 to use with two Thump 12A’s for my home gym. Is this a good arrangement?
Normally I would say get 2 but because it's a home gym I would start with 1 if you're running the thumps at 25 to 40%

I have one VARI V2315 top. I just purchased a VARI 2318S. I can't get it to fire I thought I only needed one 1/4 inch cable from the top speaker to the sub. I Bluetooth music in my shop with the PA. Any help would be great.
XLR from the Direct out of the Top Your V2315 to the Back of the Sub V2318S. Bluetooth to the top, turn both the top & The Sub up to 50% to start and then adjust to the room size for volume.

I have QSC CP8 in my garage paired with a Behringer Eurolive 12sub. I have no issues with it but Idk if I’ll be upgrading if I go with the Harbinger or downgrading. Can you help thank you.
upgrade for sure the quality of the bass & Sub-Bass from the Harbinger is better Eurolive over all volume not sure.

I have 2 passive JBL 100 using ROCKVILLE RPM80BT to power them. Will these Harbinger be a good addition and can I use 2 of them together?
Yes you can you will need to connect only to the LINE OUT on the back of the AMP to the Subwoofer, anywhere else will damage the SUBWOOFER.

You have the EV-ELX200-10P you need to be looking at the QSC KS112 or the EV-ELX200-12SP the Harbinger is great but you need More Stamina Power At higher volume levels. PS Links Down in the description.

15 in top will run away from a 12 inch sub, if you had 2 15" tops and 4 x 12 in Subs. Or a $500 15in top with a $2000 12" sub.
Can you use QSC K10.2 with this subwoofer?
I just bought one and setup with a pair of 10.2's for a backyard event. It was a big yard and speakers were farther from the dancefloor but I was pleased with the sound. I think it will be more suitable for a smaller room imo but overall the system sounded great.
