Thank you sir, lm from Singapore, I have been watching your channel, through your review and bought the 12inch harbinger sub its Took more than 2 weeks arrived. WOW FANTASTIC very tight bass.
I'm looking for information on that exact sub. I've just bought 2x Alto TS415 and they sound amazing and as I'm not booked this monthput my two entry level qtx 1000w 18" active subs up for sale. I'll only have the money to get one Alto TS12s so I'm looking at it carefully. I have my first 100 person event booked for January so I'm doing my upgrades now.. The TS12s is rated at three times the rms of my cheap subs so I should be fine with one. Any thoughts on that?
@@PartyAnimalDJThe TS12S is a really solid sub for its compact size. So far I’ve used it at 3 venues and bass was tight and was able to keep up with 12” QSC’s. I also have 2x Alto TS415’s that don’t need a sub, and just added 2x Alto TS408’s and the sub sounds great with those. I’d say U can do 150 ppl comfortably with the sub and 2 tops so yes I’d purchase one if I were u.
Are the ts415s any good with out a sub, I'm just starting out, so won't be able to get the ts18 subs till next year, I'll be playing mainly pop and dance music @DjSmoothNY
I have a Harbinger LX12 mixer. How do I properly connect my two studio speakers, JBL mkiii 8in, my two 12in Harbinger subs and my one 18in Harbinger sub?
Connect your JBL to the control room output on top via the 1/4 connectors, main output xlr to the sub then mains or you can connect the subwoofer to the aux/monitor output for independent control.
Very informative video as useful. Just picked up some jbl jrx115's..... really because condition and price, and was thinking about adding a sub. Thank you
Can I ask a noob question please? Can you line out your bass and drums (electronic) to the mixer and then feed the subs from the mixer just with bass and drums? Is that the way it’s done?
Thoroughly enjoying your expertise on sound set up. Santa brought me 2 each Harbinger V3412’s and 2 each S12 subwoofers. 1 each mixer Alto ZMX862with plenty of cables. Please assist to connect for the best result for a professional solo vocalist set up with acoustic electric guitar. Thank you in advance. Rock’in Ronnie 30 years in the nightclub business. Hello, I'm currently running 2 passive speakers 4 Ohms each in a church, but we want to add a subwoofer and 2 stage mornitors, how do we go about the connection if the monitors are also passive? The Amp has 2 channels at 4 0hms.
Love the price of Blast Kings subwoofers wandering what you thought about them? I’m almost ready to pull the trigger. Was thinking of the 15s. I run sound for a country Band and a Latin band. Huge differences here. Just wandering.
Have you happened to review the new alto ts18s 2500 watt subs yet. They are at a great price point and currious how they compare the something like a qsc 18 or the ev etx18sp
I hope to have then next week. For Quality of sound and Low end they will be the same they all sound Great, but the ETX18SP can run continues 18dB louder that's why they cost twice the price More power, stronger box and Drive. The QSC well 3 times the price......
My band uses alto to 315s as our PA. Miked up guitars x 2 and bass , bass drum and snare , 4 singers and stereo keyboards going through it. Do I need to augment the system with one or two subs? I’m assuming a 315 sub woofer would be best to match tops? Thanks for advice. We play to 200 ish crowd inside and out.
The TS315 Run Really Better For Bands when You run them as a 3 way with the TS315S The Bass will be fuller and the Tops will push 6 to 12 More dB the won't be stressing to push the low-end.
@@expertisland ...knowledge isn't always simple, and you need knowledge to acquire wisdom. So thank you, I really appreciated the depth and breadth of info you covered. No sound system is complete without a sub. I figure it is in most cases the most important piece of kit and is the crucial difference between a good show or memorable experience. Subs are more about how your body feels than what you think your ears hear. So start with a sub that defines your purpose and build your system up from there 🙂

Hey thanks for this review. I just bought a pair and what you said about adding a sub makes sense. I'll be ready to do the same.
I can tell you really know your topic! Not always do we get the right info!
This is a very useful information.

Excellent informative video Thanks
Thank you.
Alto TS12S sounds like a 15” Sub. I used it at my last gig and it performed amazing (just one) with 2 QSC 12CP’s.

I SOLD tons of 15-inch blastking subwoofers, great performance for the price. You would have to pay more for the alto ts315s to do better.

Im sure this is not the place to ask this question but im looking for a party speaker with ALOT of bass. Im a bass head. What do you suggest?
What's your budget and where are you?
@expertisland Hello Expert Island, I'm trying to stay under 500 dollars and I'm in Louisiana.
👏
You are a little wrong my friend 😊 one line is capable of 2000 watt's.
A 43-minute video is not keeping anything simple
Thanks, I'll keep trying 🙂
