    I have zero empathy for these dealerships. 2020-2023, they treated customers like trash. They would show you the door if you were not willing to pay their 10-30k markup. They took advantage of people and now they are in trouble. Now the people are showing these dealerships the door.

    The problem at Toyota is arrogance like they are entitled to sell vehicles just based on their reputation instead of substance of the current products. The legendary Toyota years from around 1987 with the launch of the most leap forward Camry to around 2006 when the LS430 ended production took place when the top brass at Toyota was mostly born before WW2. Their mentality was to build the best product for the customer and find a way to be profitable. Gen Y is now in some high level management at Toyota. The mentality is to maximize profits and make it durable enough for the warranty claims to not kill them. They managed to botch that with the Tundra engines. Their vehicles are no longer bargain priced or durable. If you really do not keep a car after the warranty ends you are better off in a BMW lease. Don’t buy a newer used Toyota out of the warranty period and expect it to be like the older models where things rarely broke and when they did it was inexpensive to repair.

    • @doom4067
      @doom4067 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

    I still see shortages of Camrys, Corollas, Prius and RAV4. I have some questions on the 2025 Camry Hybrid powertrain and there are times when I'd prefer normally aspirated. I also note that Toyota has dropped the 6-cylinder engine option. It seems like they've dropped their higher-displacement engines. Add-ons are still an issue at my dealership and I'm waiting for them to go away.

    3:10 the audacity to try and sell a customers car that they personally spec-ed out is a low blow and the icing on the top is adding other shit to make a profit 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

    You truly Want to know how mama Toyota is in crisis mode? Go drive a base 1958 land cruiser for a whopping $60,000. Hard plastic interior anemic, drivetrain, subpar tech a hood prop, the battery placement as an afterthought and looks 10 times worse in person and manual seats all that for 60 grand. I’ll keep my FJ cruiser till hell freezes over and thank you mama Toyota for increasing the value of prior generation Tacoma’s and tundras.

    I was in the market for a new SUV, I bypassed toyota and went for the Honda Pilot. Toyota isn't really trying these days.

    Car Salesman: WHAT DONI HAVE TO DO TO GET OU TO BUY THIS CAR TODAY!
    Customer: Cut the price in half, triple the warranty (and honour it) and leave the I.c.e. vehicles naturally aspirated.
