Son of the year award! 🏅 I often find those bloody springs a pain in the bum too, so awkward! That rug of yours must be the most vacuumed in existence. MVP! 👍

2:11 I picked up a free Dyson DC50 off Facebook Marketplace and stripped it for fun. Using some TH-cam videos I completely disassembled and separated the bin and cyclone and washed all the parts. The spring goes back in during reassembly when the top, middle and bottom parts of the cyclone tier are screwed back together. From what I can remember the spring has a bit that sticks out. This hooks against the side channel groove edge and the spring twists slightly as it goes in. This is what enables the spring to keep tesnion and keep the red plastic part flicked out. I think this is how it goes. Anyway with the cyclone parts separated it gives you an opportunity to work out and see how the spring goes in if I'm not 100% right.
I sold the thoroughly washed and cleaned bin, the cleaned out brush bar and the body of the machine individually on eBay and made a bit of money out of the free DC50. 😀

Thanks! Mum still loves it, I've got rid of her S5 now without doing a goodbye bit for an upcoming video. That was silly...

Not that confident with them for that I'm afraid, but I do have a full manchestervacs refurb guide to write on it, took 200 photos of the whole process 😂

We had a up15 the carpet suction was great and was really nice to use apart from the noise. The suction was ok. Now we got the latest light/small ball now that is the best one nice and quiet and it manoeuvres just as well as the the little ones but the one big problem is the hose suction is rubbish the up15 had more suction and it was smaller. I one day would like to try the dc25 and 24

A dc24 will be horrifying compared to all that you've listed 😂 I used a up15 at Parwaz's and it is very good. Certainly one day although they do really like it now! Now they've got used to how hard and sharp to push and pull things. Certainly ideal for a 2 bed bungalow

Pile of junk. I recommend the multi floor 2 instead.
