Love your videos, chap - thanks so much. Not only are they really really helpful for those of us who enjoy fiddling with pre-loved vacuum cleaners (I bought my little Dyson DC49 after watching one of your videos...) but they do tell us so much about human nature ! It still amazes me that so many people spend SO much money on Dysons and then proceed to completely ignore the very clear advice to wash the filters regularly !!!!
This EXACT thing just happened to my boss at work. Vacuum stopped sucking, then would shut off. He bought a brand new Dyson. I watched some TH-cam videos and took it apart and found it was clogged w popcorn and now it works perfectly and I now own the "broken" one 😂
I had a DC50 brought to me with a burnt-out motor. Beautifully looked after, no blockages and no sign of plaster dust. According to the Wikipedia page the DC50 was only launched in 2015 so I advised the owner to contact Dyson as it hadn't been abused and was still under the five-year warranty. She hasn't got back to me so I hope she was successful.
OK, I never thought videos about cleaning out vacuum cleaners could be remotely interesting-you have changed my mind! Excellent videos (I have watched two now and will be watching more)! I will be taking my Dyson Ball vacuum cleaner apart in the next few days-thank you for the guidance!
I thought the “facts” on this Dyson was it never lost suction? Never got blocked? Never got misused by the owners? Picked up everything including land mines? No???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awesome video as always Sam. Will we see a fully cleaned up demo of this machine and I love the little teaser at the end 🤗🤗🤗🤗
No, it went back to its owner and I collected cash after this, and I hate them too much to go and buy one! If a freebie ever comes my way then maybe, but I'm not going to hunt it out!
Also the 'facts' channel has been very quiet for a while now, his lack of facts to questions asked must have spread to the lack of facts to make content about. Luckily you won't find many facts on my channel, just real life, camera never lies experiences!
Hi I have had to unscrew the join in the wand to remove blockage. Any idea what way the plastic piece goes back inside it to allow me to replace the screws?
Yep, although if I was in his position with his bank account I wouldn't care much what people like us think tbh! I avoided all of the rain, went camping at the weekend and it barely rained at all! The rain closed the M5 briefly on the way home though, luckily my current car doesnt leak!
@@beko1987 Thought I saw your car (silver Citroen ZX) on Hubnut's Shitefest report from a soggy field in Devon, and your awfully big tent that he showed us, Its a Citroen ZX you have now, but what happened to the Peugeot 406?
I didn't realise that video was up yet! Yep, my lovely house and car. 406 suddenly decided to break alot 4 days before the MOT so it went in the bin. It was MUCH comfier though, zx damn near killed me, although possibly my own silly fault for doing Newbury to Cheriton in one hit...
@@beko1987 Thought you'd dropped a clanger with the old editing, hahahaha. Mistakes happen even to the most seasoned youtubers, but at least we know what your next video will be about now.

I find these videos so therapeutic to watch, thanks Sam!
Thanks!

Beko1987 that’s very true and ditto 🤗😘😘😘
Hi Dorian how are u dong mate
Hi I have had to unscrew the join in the wand to remove blockage. Any idea what way the plastic piece goes back inside it to allow me to replace the screws?
Wonderful except that my blockage is in the tube between the ball and the hose, which you didn't cover.
Ah sorry about that, the hose slides off its holder, it's a bit easier with the ball shells removed. Did you get it sorted?
excellent, I keep forgetting about the blockage at the neck of the main mesh filtre. Thank you
Great job cleaning up that dc50! Man that motor is a screamer. Are you going to do more videos on your V11?
Thanks. Yep, more v11 coming soon, I've just got home from filming another video on it actually
Why do you like it I just got one
Exactly my problem, the clogged intake. Thanks.
I got rid of my Dyson the cyclones always clogged up terrible terrible hoovers got a wet dry vac instead
Made billions still ain’t got it right 🤣 but great video mr beko 👍🏻 hope your not getting to wet ☔️

Everybody I know has had the same problems with the Dysons clogging up in one way or the other
You can tell that they have hoovered up building debris that dyson say you should not do
what happened ar 21:20 ? You started talking about another vacuum, and then the video suddenly ended.
Umm, not sure! Have I done an edit fail? I'll have a check of the original footage
Ha, seems I edited the intro to another video into the end, fail! Said video will go live on the 22nd of August so not long to wait to see it!

I wouldn't call myself seasoned tbh. Lightly salted maybe
Over engineered plastic crap!
Great if you look after them, but otherwise they are the machines most found in recycling centres !
Martin Agreed
1 month clean would be all your dirty dyson needs. Don't try to suck up whole sandwiches. Scissors are a no, no
These are terrible! The light ball is much better.
