Ferrari need to make the engines rev to 12k rpm, make a v6, v8, v10, v12 modular and fit them in specials based on their current range, have a manual option, hydraulic rack, simplify and lighten the car. Boom 💥 Can I have a job?

It’s pretty untenable for a v6 to rev to 12k in a road car but that’s just splitting hairs

i watched the whole vid without skipping twice.
The SP3 is a tribute to the P5, and the only modern Ferrari that does justice to the styling of old. It’s my favorite prancing horse since the 288.
The word "NOISE" generally has a pejorative meaning , at least in the States. Why not "SOUNDS" instead

The SP3 is one of the most beautiful Ferrari ever. I think it's completely stunning. Can't get enough of it.
Overpriced underpowered and it has a boring automatic transmission. You can get a co6 Corvette that has a quicker 0 to 60. That's sad. Not to mention this car has a boring automatic. It's time we bring back the manual

No Lambo will ever be as beautiful as a Miura or a Periscopio. But they still make awesome cars.

it's "brake horsepower" meaning the amount of power actually getting to the wheels where the brakes would have to stop that power (I'm fairly certain)
Thank you so much for the piece on the Stelvio❤; I had no idea it was so breathtaking. I drove it with a top-down F83 M4 Cabrio MT in the summer. Can only remember the 3-point turns in spite of it not being a huge car, and the incensed Italian biker gangs, who disliked being overtaken. I had no panoramic views at all, more like stressed rushhour.
why is this video in 1080p and not 4k? It would be nice to see this car and all of it's detail in 4k

Just a shame he can’t pronounce the word “Countach” he’s giving us a “ch” sound instead of the “sh” sounds everyone else says. I know it’s spelt “Countach” and not “Countash” but the car has been around since 1974 (maybe ‘72) that’s nearly 50yrs of being one of the most iconic cars ever and a guy who works for Top Gear can’t even get its name right is disgusting

This impostor "Countach's" lines are mostly wrong. That gaping black triangle in profile just exemplifies the clumsy design.
Such a dull and uneventful effort.

TG should have gotten a reviewer for the Lamborghini Countach that can at least pronounce the name.

It's hard to take the rear end of the Ferrari serious.
The Countach LPI 800 is my favorite, just wish it had Centenario tail lights.
The Centenario is more special than the Countach. Wish it had a gated manual..
@@somerandomfella Why is it more special when these are all body kit Aventador's with a million dollar price tag, at least the Coutach has the hybrid thing to speak for its price, the Centenario doesn't even have one.
@@Amarjit_Singh when companies make these products, they aren’t for the general public, they are for recurring clients that have allocations and opportunity to purchase something unique 20,50,150 pieces in the world, but most of its pricing is to fund future projects that company holds. Those extra millions of dollars that they’ll get from selling these products to the rich (who have all the money in the world) are to fund R&D most likely for those said future projects. Same goes for those crazy priced Bentleys and coach built Rolls Royces, 1of Ferraris, etc. You can’t even say that the Countach’s price is justified because of the hybridization because the Aventador successor will be power by the same powertrain but with a DCT. Which in theory is worth much more as a car than the Coutach, it’ll have a whole new interior etc. So price aside, I personally love the new Countach design, but dont like the tail lights and the “no rear bumper” look like the original. Centenario was worth more than the Countach alone because of the Carbon body panels and exposed carbon ones were very hard to make.
@@BIGGELATO You're so wrong to write that this hybrid powertrain will be powering the Aventador replacement, in fact this V12 won't even be there and a new V12 will be developed, moreover all this supercapacitor hullabaloo will not be there as well and in its place there'll be a traditional hybrid powertrain with batteries. The Countach is just a cynical cash grab and it's most Lamborghini makes such cars.
@@BIGGELATO Also let me remind you one off cars especially Ferrari's are made specifically upon customer request and the design is approved after working with the customer, it's totally a different concept compared to this.

He said something about that 60s flavor. To me. In different angles... It looks as if they tried to marry the gt40 with a Ferrari stylized wrapping to not make it appear as such.
Even if I was so fortunate to afford one, I wouldn't because I think it's trying so hard, it's ugly. The GT40 is by far my pick for the lotto $ ... still.
We live in very strange Times today. We all loving loud, exciting Internal Combustion Engines without any Turbo, that kills about 90% of our Emotions coming into our Brain over Ears and matches with the distinctive rumbling Vibrations of these Engines. But, sadly, the hole Industrie is going to small Engines with few Cylinders and one or more Turbos to compensate the Lack of Displacement, if they didn't give up all the Drama to go fully electric without any Noise or Vibration (meaning Emotions). The Engine in this Aston Martin V12 is from Mercedes Benz and this means, a Motor with nearly no emotional Output. Just Power isn't enough. Thinking about the old Days of Formula 1 in the Seventies, with all the Noise, Smell and Colours. These Days where exciting. Today Motorsport in the top Range mostly is boring, sadly. I'm owning and driving a Maserati Granturismo with a lot of Noise and Drama and i love it. I would never give it away for any Kind of modern Car like a self driving Tesla Plaid or any downsized so called Sportscar, that outperform my Car in any Way. Never!
New Countach still doesn't touch the original for looks. Too many rounded edges, too much like the Huracan and a little Aventador....both of which have never did anything for me in the looks dept. The last real Lambo for me was the Murcielago.

The name came from an exclamation in an Italian dialect spoken in the Piedmont region. The original car designer, Marcello Gandini has told the story : “When we made the cars for the showrooms, we worked at night and we were all tired, and so we joked to keep our spirits up. There was a profiler there with us, he did the locks, two meters tall, with two hands so that he did all the small jobs. He spoke almost only Piedmontese, he didn't even speak Italian. Piedmontese is very different from Italian, it resembles French. One of his most frequent exclamations was "contacc", which literally means plague, contagion, and is actually used rather as an expression of amazement or even admiration, such as "gosh". He had this habit. When he worked at night, to keep up his spirits, there was a frond spirit, so I said, we could call it Contacc, as a joke, to say an exaggerated joke, without any conviction. Nearby was Bob Wallace who was assembling the mechanics - we always made the cars work, once you could enter the showrooms even with the car running, which was a wonderful thing. So I jokingly asked Bob Wallace how it sounded to an English-speaking ear. He said it in his own way, in a strange way. It worked. We immediately made the lettering and stuck it on. But perhaps the real suggestion came from one of my collaborators, a boy who said, let's call it that. The name was born this way. It's based on the LaF Aperta minus the hybrid, that's no cheap supercar/hypercar and considering the prices of the LaF Aperta at the moment the SP3 Daytona is a bargain.

It is a beautiful car it's extremely overpriced. But if it at least had the power to support the price tag. You can get a Corvette that has more power for 1/16 of the price. Corvettes around $150,000 give or take for a Z06. This thing's probably 5 million dollars. And the Corvette ZO6 is faster from 0 to 60. I just would expect more from a $5 million dollar car. Not to mention the fact that it's a damn stupid automatic. You don't put an automatic and an exotic car like that. That car deserves a manual transmission. We need to bring back the old school feel of a manual 6-speed transmission

tHE ONE AND ONLY EXCITING THING about a Ferrari V6 engine is mayb it will find its way into mundane cars even if its a factory fitted alfa car but i mean backyard built ford focus v6 ferrari engine that will be cool. Unlike a ferrari with a v6 engine. It sounds like ferrai cheaped out but demand youll pay extra for it. Like this beast too. So its a waterd down LaFerrari and is the price waterd down too? Ferrari are the worst cars to buy like the iphone is the worst phone to buy. You only want it because most cant have it.
