    Giant just understands bicycles. They're never the flashiest bikes but the manufacturing quality, bike fit and ride quality is spot on 👌🏼 Brilliant bikes offered through their entire range 👍🏼

    Giants deliver pair of awesome bikes. Personally I love the understatedness = timeless. Cable routing - I prefer a steerer I can work on with minimum fuss, pack the bike away and most importantly, shifting is not compromised at all. I know where my cycle to work voucher is going 😉

      To be fair, the Advanced Pro looks a lot nicer in reality than the pictures suggest. But I agree - they don’t set the world on fire in terms of colour and design; a bit like Cannondale these days.

      You'd be amazed at the number of people that look at the fancy colours on any bike, say "wow that looks incredible" then ask for it in black! There's a reason they (and most manufacturers) have toned things down! Generally, Giant look great in the flesh with subtle, classy detailing even on the 'boring' colours. They are a LOT better than the paint jobs offered a decade ago, thats a FACT!!

    The TCR was excellent at 3499 for the advanced pro 1 disc. Its now priced at 4199🤯You forget to mention how much these bikes have increased in price! Its madness

      You’re getting a dual power meter AND a carbon wheel set. Yeah the price has gone up but I feel it’s justified.

    • @carlosbarrios2203
      @carlosbarrios2203 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the price increase is because the Pro 1 TCR now has a dual sided power meter?

    If the tech is advanced enough there should be cableless setup, how important is that internal cable routing just because that’s the trend right now.

    • @slayergut
      @slayergut 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would be a dream if we could have cableless setups, but that technology seems a bit too far away for now.
      For now we still have cables, and i still prefer Giant's method of semi-internal routing because i build and work on my bikes myself. Maybe for newcomers to the sport they prefer full internal cable routing

      It’s like a religion. It’s the same in my other hobby, guitar. Never mind that there are brilliant entry-level examples of both bikes and guitars, and that no one has to buy anything they can’t afford. For some the mere fact of expensive, high-end gear is enough to set them off. Envy is an ugly trait.
