So um...hi. I know this doesn't look good.
"Renegades" is a spinoff/sequel series to my previous show "All Lone Ones". It follows Kwebso, two years after the events in episode 11 of the original.
Yeah, not much to say here. Everything went smoothly for the most part. I don't know for certain when I'll start episode 2 for personal reasons, but you can expect it in 2018 at least, maybe later in 2017 even.
Also I'm like the only artist who puts in the needless effort to have differences between the summer and winter coat and pupil size depending on how bright it is. Please notice those things. For like...no reason. Why do I even bother, honestly.

An answer to the question why Richard doesn't talk more often:
He just doesn't think it's necessary. The one he communicates the most with is Kwebso, since the two are together very much, and Kwebso understands him for the most part without speaking. Richard doesn't like being talkative, unlike Kwebso, so he mostly is just quiet with Kwebso mostly speaking for him. But he can and will speak when he wants to. He doesn't have selective mutism or anything like that. It's just him being a dog of little words.

Your channel may be small compared to others but, in my eyes, the quality of videos you make I would say is just as big as any other popular youtuber! I hope you remember this, or me when your channel grows so much that you can't even reply to every comment. No matter hard you try.

Kwebso is such a soft bean and I just want him to be happy ahhh ;A; This was a great opening episode! It's so cool to get more insight on characters that were so minor in ALO. I can't wait to see more of this series!

Yooo I'm finally watching this and you're doing great work so far with this series! I love the interactions between Richard and Kwebso - how Richard doesn't have to speak much to be understood, how their argument at the end is believable. Also nice work editing the sound effects here! I especially like the sounds of their paws in the snow. ^^

AH this is so good!!! You've improved with your animation, and I especially liked that cool angle from below with that jump! :D The backgrounds are so amazing and the music all fits very well! I really look forward to the next episode, and definitely take your time on it if you need to, I understand things obviously take a while and more-so if you're not doing too good. i know im a lil late but i love this so much and i know the chances of you seeing this are small but id just like to let you know that im saying thank you this animation from 1-6 was amazing i watched this 3 years ago with feels and im watching it in 2020 and it hits me in the feels you have a gift maby some day you can do a contenuation of quwebso and starlight and jair that would be awsem but anyway thank you this was an amazing piece you should be amazingly proud

The animation is nice. The story is confusing as of yet, I hope that it is not the case for upcoming episodes. But it does leave room to twist the story how you like. Well done.

Looking gurd for a first episode!~ I see a lot of improvement in the animation too and I really like how we focus on Kwebso, I was always interested in that fella in ALO so to see the story centered around him (or at least for now) is a nice treat! x3

To be frank I kinda wonder how his hoodie stays so clean, too. I guess we'll just have to assume he sometimes washes it in a nearby river.
I can officially confirm here that he doesn't have selective mutism, as stated in the pinned comment. He just doesn't like talking and doesn't find it necessary. He can communicate (for the most part) seamlessly with Kwebso without having to say much because the two have known each other for their entire lives. He's just an extreme introvert who hates needless talking. The verbal conversations he had with Kwebso about his sickness are the first verbal conversations they've had in a looooooonnggg time.
This is the best animated series I’ve seen so far. I love the characters

To me Richard doesnt really look sick as in like coughing sneezing ect. but more of like a mental illness like, depression. since his owner died maybe its gotten to him and he slowly got more and more depressed and that would explain his attitude and why they cant cure it.

Nice animation, only issue I have is that the collar on the paler dog would not grow with him and he likely would have died of infection from lacerations in real life. Going from a puppy to a two year old he would have outgrown the collar with it being stuck on him and I doubt the clan would be able to replace it as he grows. I know it's just a distinguishing thing but it bugs me a bit
If you paid close attention you saw that Kwebso's collar was oversized when he was a pup. It was waaaayyyy to big for him. He grew into it when he got older. So no infections c:
