Ack, I can remember all the way back in 2020 when I watched 16 shots for the first time and was totally blown away by the characters and story and now there’s gonna be a whole animated episode for it! Can’t wait to see what happens!
Such a lovely detail that at 12:44 we can see her mother's shadow, plus bird had the same colors and marks as Asha's mom, which confirms that it's her spirit.

Wow, I just got finished watching this episode and honestly everybody did so incredible with the pronunciation I'm in shock. The voice actors were amazing and did a great job bringing out the personality of each and every character in this episode. The animators did a astonishing job with character animation and acting. Yerrer did a phenomenal job with the music and sound I'm in awe listening to the soundtrack of this beautiful masterpiece. Everything comes together so nicely and I was waiting at the edge of my seat for this to drop and it was so worth it! I cannot compliment this enough! I love with when young artist's come together and make gorgeous projects like these and we get the special opportunity to watch it and be inspired. The pacing and writing of this whole thing was great. I honestly want to give everybody involved a well deserved hug because this is probably my favorite animated OC series available on TH-cam yet and I don't see that changing for a very long time. I wish to reach this level of creativity someday and start my own series of my characters. This is honestly so blessed and so well put together, I was more entertained by this than most hit productions. This was great, just great! Thank you for staying motivated and finishing this, I can't believe we get to watch this for free?? The lighting, the art, the backgrounds, the enthusiasm, and animation and the acting was just so well done and so well put together I love it. I love everything about this! I actually gasped when I saw Draivysands name in the credits because I've commissioned them one time and I consider them a very talented artist! It was really nice to see everyone coming together and working on this episode for such a long amount of time (3.5 years!) and never once backing out! The team is really dedicated at what they do, and it's so unbelivable to see the episode finally polished and complete to be premiering on TH-cam after such a long while! To be honest, as someone who saw the episode exclusively due to being in the production team as well, the order of events and the pacing is simple to follow despite it being really fast, and the gradual improvement over in the animation and visuals are really admirable! I cannot wait for what the next episode has in store and then the others as well! Kate and the entire production team has really kicked it off, and it'll be such an interesting follow to keep track of LAB as it goes along and unravels the story! You've really inspired a lot of artists and animators with your content and characters Kate, and Load Aim Burn will definitely prove it! I could gush over this episode for ages…the art and animation is absolutely gorgeous, the subtle animation style is wonderful to look at and the painted backgrounds are absolutely stunning! The music composition is phenomenal and it truly adds so much to the story, I could listen to each individual piece over and over again. The editing and the overall composition for every shot is unique and appealing to watch, each segment is so colorful and really pushes the mood of the scene. Kate is absolutely one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to art and animation. I’ve loved watching her PMV/AMVs and animation memes for LAB, and it’s so fulfilling to see her characters and story come together in a fully voice-acted video like this. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for LAB, and I hope you all are as well! I’m genuinely honored to be on the team producing LAB, witnessing the production of episode one was so fascinating and inspiring, and I’m excited to help out with future episodes for this series. Every single person on the production team is so incredibly talented, and everyone did excellent work on this episode!

Both this and Lackadaisy are showing that indie animation is making a real come back, which I'm totally here for! This episode is kind of the perfect pilot I think. It leaves me with so many questions that I can't wait to be answered!

Меня очень вдохновляет ваш проект, и мне интересно, как события будут развиваться дальше, и что произойдет с Ашей:_ Анимация выполнена качественно и правильно, и это должно быть было очень сложно сделать, при том факте что аниматоров было не так много, а анимировать животных ещё и соблюдая правильность анатомии.... респект.. Так же, хочу обратить своё внимание на фоны и игру с цветом. Фоны вышли замечательно, сразу можно уловить красоту всех мест, в которых была антагонистка. Цвета подобраны замечательно, они не режут глаз, и наоборот кажутся очень приятными. В добавок, большую роль, должно быть, играет ещё и окрас самих персонажей, ведь это тоже в каком-то смысле может отразить их характер, я думаю. Плюс, музыка удачно подобрана под разные моменты эпизода. По ней сразу можно понять атмосферу всего происходящего через экран, х) Вообщем, для завершения скажу, что все кто прикладывал свои силы к "Load Aim Burn" огромные молодцы, старания и душа действительно видны здесь. I like small details, for example at the moment 12:46 , next to Asha's shadow was not a bird's shadow, but a cat's (perhaps her mother, these are just my guesses). Excellent work everyone! This was a fantastic introduction to this story and characters, not too little and not too much lore dumped on us in the beginning, a slow but steady pacing that lets events unfold naturally while withholding enough information to keep me wanting more. If I were to make one criticism, it would be the low frame rate / limited animation being almost too limited, this world and its environment is so pretty but I feel I'm constantly pulled out of it by the choppy movements and lack of lipsync. Overall, though, you and your team have a much better grasp of what it takes to make an animated series than most other indie TH-camrs, and I greatly respect your tenacity to make this happen at the level of quality you delivered. Excited for episode two!
I actually cried, not just because of the sad scenes but because I remember just watching your meme videos from years ago and now I’m seeing it in action😭😭 it was incredible and I can’t wait for the next episode whenever that will be

Did anyone notice at 12:47 the bird’s shadow is in the shape of a cat? Well I have a theory. The painting in the house showing another cat next to asha’s father must be asha’s mother. I think the bird we see is Asha’s mom. In the shadow, the hair fur looks similar to the one on the painting. The bird is black and white like her mother.
This came out great! I really like all the environmental shots and additions. It really helped to make the world feel alive, and the character interactions were fun too. I look forward to seeing more, good luck with the next episodes!

Excellent work everyone! This was a fantastic introduction to this story and characters, not too little and not too much lore dumped on us in the beginning, a slow but steady pacing that lets events unfold naturally while withholding enough information to keep me wanting more. If I were to make one criticism, it would be the low frame rate / limited animation being almost too limited, this world and its environment is so pretty but I feel I'm constantly pulled out of it by the choppy movements and lack of lipsync. Overall, though, you and your team have a much better grasp of what it takes to make an animated series than most other indie TH-camrs, and I greatly respect your tenacity to make this happen at the level of quality you delivered. Excited for episode two!

Did anyone notice at 12:47 the bird’s shadow is in the shape of a cat? Well I have a theory. The painting in the house showing another cat next to asha’s father must be asha’s mother. I think the bird we see is Asha’s mom. In the shadow, the hair fur looks similar to the one on the painting. The bird is black and white like her mother.
