This really reminds me of Scourge's story. It's nearly identical in a way. I wonder if they drew inspiration from it because the way the kittens treat pip is just like how Ruby and Socks treated Tiny. Major differences is that in this the mother is rude to pip instead of loving which is sad

This animation really touched my heart,
I had a cat name Bougie “BooBoo” and he looked EXACTLY like Pip… We adopted him from a very bougie family where their pet needed to match the furniture they had, one day they switched up their couches and they didn’t match his fur color… so they kicked him out-
We later heard about this and immediately adopted him, and *he became part of our family ❤*

I love how smooth the animation is and how you can tell each character's personality purely through their body language
Oh wow this ties so well back to the earlier animation Patience and Harmony with Pip n Grace! He washes off in the sink after getting dirty, and at first sees her laying away, which reminds him of how his mother would ignore him, only for Grace to wrap around him in an embrace and solidify the feeling of home 😭
Can we just admire the way she draws baby kittens? It's so cute!

Rewatching this, at first I didn’t think much of this part ( 8:56 )when they smile back crookedly seeing this now, I can relate.
It was like she was flipping them off, for example: “You don’t want me? Don’t have me then, I’m free.”
It felt like there was so much meaning in this video, and that’s only one of the parts. Same with graces beginnings, it was like the black cat was telling them, don’t be afraid to be independent.
This one, was like don’t be afraid to be different, someone will love you regardless, I love little meanings like these, that make my day.

This shows us how world is sometimes cruel. Pip was neglected & discriminated by his family & Grace was abandoned by her owners.The dark cat thing(from the last episode) could represent her aggresion or violence.These episode s gives us a good story & shows how reality can be harsh! I like these series cuz they give us not only lore, but also a great morals!

Nah the dark cat probably represented the instinct to hunt, kill, and survive though grace was able to control it somewhat, especially the kill part.

The small white kitten with black splotches and blue eyes reminds me of Tiny (who later changes his name to Scourge) from Warrior Cats, with his siblings making fun if him. But for Tiny he gets bullied by his siblings so much that one day they tell him Unwanted kittens (like him)get thrown in the river. Then that is when Tiny runs away.

Once a wise person said “never judge a book by its cover”
Pip's mother is so squeamish, Pip is not like his brother and sister, but you can love him too. Although, when the family went out for a walk, the mother cat either looked towards Pip or the kittens, but still a look in which there was a piece of the soul.

Also it's weird that after all those situations of discrimination and some sort of bullying Pip stayed innocent and still saw the good side of everything. Grace was still gentile and good but the fact that her owners left her meant more for her than how Pip took it.
Deffinitely it's more understable why Pip looked to Grace (at least for me) as a kind of sister now that we know the whole context of Pip

This backstory is amazing. I'd seen tons of stories like this but the one thing my mind is on is where Pip and his littermates' father. Is he you know, dead or leave them?
Thanks this video is very interesting. Pip's family is all white while he has black spots on his coat. It must be genetics, Pip's mother and siblings must be dominant white or high in white spotting, and if his mother carries a white spotting gene, then he's probably just having lower white spotting that's all.
Guys if they don't have the white overlay on their comment and the comments aren't mentioned as (Ava G. And # others), it isn't the actual creator.

Maybe pip and his littermate’s dad died or maybe left pip mother soo…that’s why pip is neglect maybe because of pip’s mom bad memories or maybe pip mom is embarrassed that she has a kitten that doesn’t look similar to her so she treats the white coat ones better
@@hanako4584 sincerely I just took it as this is the case of the owner wanting to breed the mother cat, so she just choose a random cat, probably a white one since they seemed to expect all white babies

It's been a long time! And you made a progress in your skills again! I see cleaner lineart and shapes, smoother movement and also the lack of shading (which isn't bad at all).

I wanna point out how the Mom really shouldn’t be acting this jerk us to Pip because if she wanted a full white litter of kittens, she should’ve just went with another cat that’s pure white.
The only way Pop could have those black spot is it the father was a black cat or had black coat traits. The mother should’ve expected at least one of her kittens to have black on them.
Honestly, I hope the owner realize how badly she messed up by leaving a kitten outside, and I hope something basically smacks sense into pips mom, because pip deserves better
