Dude, Jordan Peterson has major depression, he has stated it many times, and we've all seen him crying at least once in his videos. I have many friends who don't accomplish shit and they are much happier than Peterson. There are no absolutes when it comes to the philosophy of life. Just pick one that suits you.

Preach bro! I was a meth head at 25 and now at 34 I'm a R&D engineer for a motorsports company and building a manufacturing company. From when I started at 24 to now, the path has been full of late nights, sometimes several days without sleep trying to work 30hrs, take 18 credits a semester and build a baja car/president of the Mechanical Engineering club. It SUCKED. Would I do it again? Oh yeah! I'm only part way through my suffering. I will have what will be in my mind's eye. The dream is mine... Will it take WAY more sacrifice? Uh, yup. Does it hurt? Of course. Doesn't everything worth anything cost a little something? Yes... The payment is suffering. Suffer now for what you want, ultimately or suffer later for what you ultimately don't want. You should read Joseph Campbell's a Hero With a Thousand Faces. It's way good.

Your right about sacrificing the things we like ( video games, drinking, partying etc). Listening to you I realized something, I am successful. I work towards my goals everyday and I stopped doing the dumb shet that totally distracted me from my objectives. Focus and sacrifice is key, and the pain from doing such isnt really painful. I actually feel great pushing to meet my goals everyday. I guess I just needed someone to say it, for me to realize I'm doing what's right for me and mine. Thanks

This message is so powerful... Really opened my eyes to the harsh reality of why I've been stuck in a destructive cycle for so long and what I needed to do to get out of it. I watch this vid almost every other day because it helps me set my sights on what's really important to me. It's time to start doing the things that mean the most to me. I'm learning to love the sacrifices that I'm making in order to get to where I know I want to be. At this point I don't really know exactly what it is that my purpose is, but I'm taking the first steps in trying to figure that out by documenting my journey and sharing my thoughts. Now let's get out there and sacrifice!

This is probably the most valuable video on TH-cam if you want to achieve happiness in your life, because when you understand this concept and keep it in mind you will actively listen to this voice in the back of your head that tells you what to do and what not to do so that you can achieve your goals and follow your purpose. And with this concept in mind you also don’t need any other motivation ever again because the fear of looking back and realizing that you wasted your life will motivate the hell out of you! He told me the same about Kelly Felix. Procrastinating and inaction kill you. When bitcoin came out I was invited to be a banker. I could invest up to 15K at .025 per coin and get a .07% transaction fee. Again Procrastinating killed me. I would be worth 20 Billion at least by now. Please don't do what I did!. Charles Town.

I DO NOT MIND TO SUFFER, EVEN THOUGH IN MY SITUATION, i DO WHAT i NEED TO DO, BUT I CAN NOT CONTROL OTHERS I HAVE TO WORK WITH...
I ACHIEVED AS A PERSON/ BUSINESS TO CONTROL ASPECTS OF MY $$$, TIME, ETC...
WITH MY EXPERIENCE SUFFERING AT THIS POINT, I AM CHANGING/ TWEAKING HOW I USE THOSE COMPANIES... THAT'S WHERE I'M AT NOW...
I HAVE THREE GOALS NOW, STILL GETTING BETTER THOUGH...
STILL GOT THAT FOCUS LOOK GOING, THE ONE BROW UP, SINGLE-MINDED, STILL HAVE THE LONG SUFFERING ARMOR ON AND MY SWORD OUT FIGHTING, 3 MORE OPPONENTS TO GO TO CLIMB THAT PYRAMID....
I LIKE THE IDEA THAT I JUST FOUND YOU AND YOU VERIFY WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH AND WINNING AT ALREADY....

The ONLY way to feel fulfilled in what you do is to keep moving your target so you never reach it.
The reason you don't feel fulfilled anymore by making money is because you reached the point where you could sell your business and be set for life.
The problem wasn't the goal, it was the fact that you reached it.
I guarantee if Market Hero grows to a $100MM company and you sell it, you still won't feel "fulfilled" simply because you reached the finish line.
The secret to goal setting is to place the goal near enough so it's achievable and far enough away so it's a challenge. When you get close to reaching it you must set a new one or prepare for disappointment.
While I absolutely appreciate you making these videos of tremendous value, it feels like you are also trying to justify the message to yourself so that you believe in it.
You want to believe that there is a difference in a person who takes no action and a person who reaches an arbitrary goal.
    But there isn't.
To one person your goal is 1000X greater than they think is possible, but to a Billionaire it's a small goal.
You will never be the first person, but when you reach your goal you become the second person.
“The greater danger for most of us isn’t that our aim is too high and miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.”
    - Michelangelo

It’s like what Kierkegaard said. If you do you’ll regret it, if you don’t you’ll regret that also.
Fulfill your higher purpose, and let that be your suffering. The path that scares you is often times the thing that helps others the most. People might slightly regret their failures, but they REALLY regret not trying.

There is no easy way to success. You won't appreciate what you have if you've never worked for it. Even the easiest ways of making money online requires some amount of work. Stop looking for the easiest solution because you will not build resiliency and you will not build knowledge and skills to know the difference between success or failure. I've suffered and failed but I'm truly thankful for those opportunities because I learned more during those failures than I ever did during my successes. Thank you Alex for sharing.

I agree on that dude. But the hardest thing is to keep on going when you are somewhere in the middle, when you are on the way, doubts are killing you, critics outside and critic inside become immensely heavy, your inner deamons rise to all their might, when no destination is visible in sight and nothing to show for. How would keep on going when everyone seem to be succeeding... except You. How !?
