    I'm honestly going to be posting stuff that I think is truly helpful for now on (usually on weekends when I'm off). Health, focus, life habits, discipline, sacrfice and going to the "dark side" no one wants to talk about. The reason 98% of people fail is their minds/life habits are weak. If your brain, body and focus is weak, you will be stuck and poor. The key isn't tactics, its addressing this shit. Let me know if you like the direction.

    I remember being in Advertising many years ago and we had a client who said something which always stuck out to me. That "The problem with smart people, is that you can show them exactly how to do something and succeed at it... but they spend all their time and energy trying to optimize it, instead of just following directions. Not so much with dumb people. However, sometimes dumb people just can't follow the directions, even if they wanted to, so it's best to fill your company with people from the middle."

      wow

    • @jacksonlaframboise9367
      @jacksonlaframboise9367 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I mean. If the smart person actually optimizes the thing successfully, you will probably need less employees. So, its good for the company. Bad for the person saying this who could have their job optimized out of existence.

    • @AnthonySforza
      @AnthonySforza 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@jacksonlaframboise9367
      To be fair, "optimize" was the word I used. I was trying to make the comment shorter by using that word, as I was merely going for his perspective, for the sake of brevity, more so than relaying his long statement, as it already seemed too long for most people to care about reading. His words were more like "Thinking they can do better."
      You are 100% correct, optimizing would be a great thing, though mostly what comes from such attempts are a lot of smart people fucking up and performing well below their level because they thought they could do it better, or cut corners, instead of just doing the actual job.
      No... I can assure you, the irony contained within this response isn't lost on me.

    • @johnniehouser4010

      @@johnniehouser4010
      Being a smart person who spends most of their time cutting corners? Haha, I'm inclined to say that if I knew how to do that, I'd probably be one of these gurus mentioned in the video. That said, I'd say that if there's a map out in front of you, follow it until you can literally do it in your sleep.
      For a highly intelligent person, it's going to suck and it's going to be rather arduous. However, doing it this way has two benefits, the first being that if you can do the tasks needed on complete autopilot, then you can "check out" so to speak, and that would surely shave off a lot of the soul crushing aspects of it.
      The second thing is, that if you can run it so close to the mapped out plan, that you can autopilot it, that also means that you can account for variables and curve balls, then respond accordingly. Once you're at that place, THEN cutting corners may be a way to start optimizing your process. As you'd know what is needed, what isn't and what you can afford to let go of.
      Though what I've seen a lot of highly intelligent people doing is taking something they only know 25% of (If that) and already blowing time and energy while trying to shortcut it to make it better or easier for them. Hell, I'm guilty of it, as well... The ol' "Find the fucking chase and let's cut to it!" syndrome. Where they start cutting corners off a shape they don't understand, or even know what it is, then piss and moan about how they aren't achieving success at what it is they're supposed to be doing.
      No joke, I worked at a company where they had scripts they handed out to people and told them to say only what's on the script, where literally everything they will encounter is written out, all they need to do is just follow it. What I noticed is that a lot of the guys I thought were highly intelligent, weren't putting up the numbers that average "Joe Blow" types were. So when hearing their calls, shocker, they weren't following the script, at all. When I encountered that, I heard my former client in Advertising's statement echoing in my head, leaving me like "Ohhhh...."

    This is amazing. A couple other points I would like to add that have really helped me are, 1. Buy a course and only do what the course says 2. Only work on income producing activities. 3. Don't compare yourself to others 4. Work on your business every single day and keep a productivity journal to help boost the habit. 5. Don't take failure personally, be happy it happened with minimal consequences and move forward. 6. On your days off from your day job keep your phone off and charging in a far away room. You wakeup early and only grab your phone after at least 4 hours of focused work. Learning how to focus is the biggest factor just like Alex says. It took me 3 years to learn this steps while I was "working" 80 hour workweeks and just failing because I was working hard not smart. Learn from me. Please!

    I once heard that when Jk Rowling was writing the Harry Potter books she would sit at her desk and instead of trying to write a paragraph, she would just try to write 1 word...which makes the task much, much easier. Instead of deciding to take 2-3 hours out of your day to "work" start off with 1 minor detail and build on that. This can really help you to stay focused. I like this idea because without realising it, you will achieve so much more in less time when you are not telling yourself "this is my work time" and trying to come up with ideas in that time frame. It's like tricking your brain into thinking that you do not have to have any great revelations or achieve anything in this 2-3 hour work period because these big ideas come when we least expect them.

    Every successful business person talk about how important it is to have one chief business idea to pursue. They ALWAYS add to that how they used to spread themselves too thin, which forced them to conclude that the only way to succeed is to do things the wrong way until they figured out the right way. I feel like the best advice would be if someone told people to do all the wrong things until people figured out why it's the wrong way to do things. Then people would become successful. Once you stop giving a shit about other peoples opinion and b willing to do crazy shit, having your bank call you due to overdraft fees and going through hard shit. just having a clear head and mindset will solve everything. anyone can accomplish anything in life, patients is key, self awareness is the lock.

      Yeah but he doesn't even use a pc or social media, stuck in his office all day with only company details to look at so he's still way more focused than most.

    I started playing that video with a VERY skeptical mindset, as i also don’t believe at all that motivational bullsh*t all over TH-cam. However, I sat through the entire 22 minutes, and you are 100% CORRECT.

    I'm gonna admit. I'm a youtube addict. I don't fully realize my full potential of when I would eat well, exerciser, drink water and tea, have a good morning routine, and all that stuff. I cancelled my rent and planning to go to Spain fully changing my surroundings and culture. In 3 months I hope to change myself and building all of those good habits. I also need to make a living within those 3 months...

      Exactly, Though, i think most people assign too much trust and belief to online personalities. These guys are marketers and want to SELL.

      @@Audiomotivation4all Agreed. I usually look at a load of different ones to gain all kinds of opinions and information but don't get invested in them but take in what information I consider useful from them, sifting through all the bullshit and marketing. That being said, Becker is definitely the most useful person I've seen on the internet.

    Thanks for your honest opinion, because your RIGHT! What would you say for someone that "never made much" online should do first? Like get an enema to get cleansed? I have time I have a few hundred to blow! Say like Shopify selling things of my interest? Or what? What other honest business would you recommend? Affiliate Marketing? ??? It funny I used to try selling people clickbank products on how to make money online and I wasn't, that's some funny shit😂! Never mind the next video I'm watching is yours how beginners make money online something like that!??!
