I think this is the perfect explanation of the concept Tai Lopez speaks of. It goes, ''there is so many people on social media, with 6 packs, and thats great, but show me the people with a six pack of the brain.'' In other words, resistance training also applies to the way the brain gets stronger or conversely the failure there-of.
The most important thing in my life is living it on my own terms, every moment, every day, every week, every year. I'm sacrificing ever moment now to get to that!

I've got a full-time job, wife, and 3 kids and am committed to waking up at 5:30am to work for an hour before everyone wakes up so I can grow my business to a point where I can quit my job. The keyword for me is FOCUS.
When you have a net worth of $17M+ you should be able to enjoy videogames and time with your family whenever you want. If you are at zero then maybe you should focus on working and grinding for a while to get the momentum going. Enjoy your family while they are still alive...
None of those things you mentioned are “nasty feeling” to me. I love people. What’s nasty feeling is hunkering down and studying, but I know I have to do that to get what I want.

I now have goals that will last me till I die. I enjoy talking to the successful guys and love the challenge of a cold call. My drive pushes those fears right out the door.

Dammit! I know the risk I need to take, and this just woke me back up to my original dream I had 7 years ago. I still need to time the risk so as to mitigate the risk. Of course, mitigating risk comes from knowing your domain and the skill set you have to impact your market. Those of course are my thoughts. I do have a question and it goes like this...what if I were someone of whome used to be in the tech space, (circa 2009-2011) and worked really hard doing waaaay to many info marketing courses and burned out. However, I have a passion for marketing, the internet, to connect to people because I have message; a story to tell, and I have yet to even understand how far I know I can go. Yet, I feel I may be too far behind the curve so to speak. I work in retail, amd I own my own business, but I yearn to branch out and do something else within consulting, which I have a cery limited amount of experience in, and also building a sustainable system just as you have done. It all depends on your career capital. Its not just about taking risking and doing what you are passionate about. I may not have expressed myself clearly, so I advise you to read cal Newport s book "so good they can't ignore you."

What worked for me at least was the advice from the book "The Millionaire Fastlane" - by MJ Demarco (ignore the clickbait name), so far it's the most realistic entrepreneurship book that I read (I read a lot of those), no bs positive thinking, law of attraction or whatever, just advice on getting the right mindset and right habits. Good read.
In Feb I paused all my hobbies/interestest except music, and spent all my free time on it. I now have an album coming out Dec 31st and have written more music in the last year than any point in my life before. So I can attest to the sacrifice/payoff thing. I miss video games, but making an album on my own was much more rewarding.

A note on FOMO. There can reach a point where there is no fear, for the pain is only temporary due to the attachment that one possesses to the activity or material good no longer being experienced. Once you reach this point then you can choose an activity in alignment with serving your principles and your highest contribution to the greater good. There exists a point for great leaders where they no longer identify with their own physical body and its needs so much as the cause of the group and the people they represent. So they do not act on the body's whims, and desires. They only give it enough to help serve their cause. So to surmise, when you lead, you lead in war, and in war you make peace with loss.
Your boy just got a fuck ass job at Academy. I felt the sadness set in as I sent in my paperwork. Just made a 15 hour a day schedule on google calendar, some edits need to be made, but ill suffer to be able to quit this job. My parents don't support my business, but I cant leave home because I cant afford an apartment. Giving myself 3 months to get out the rat race. Alex becker you are my best friend. Ive spent such a huge amount of time with nobody else, even digitally. I have nobody in my life, im a young 16yo guy starting from the exact bottom. Fucking sucks sometimes but all in all, I'm grateful for knowing certain things and being in this position. I can achieve and get anything. Truly anything. I can get it all. I can become a king. While it is often frustrating to be where i am now, the thought and work of getting to the apex outshines the anger and very often, sadness, like now. Alex becker you are my best friend. Ive spent such a huge amount of time with nobody else, even digitally. I have nobody in my life, im a young 16yo guy starting from the exact bottom. Fucking sucks sometimes but all in all, I'm grateful for knowing certain things and being in this position. I can achieve and get anything. Truly anything. I can get it all. I can become a king.
