Thanks brother. that’s my go-to whenever I want a nice subdued but durable finish on something. I’ve never been much on flashy chrome or polished stuff under the hood. 😉

Exactly, I know my wife absolutely Loved it when I washed carburetors in the dishwasher!!! 😳. It actually cleaned good but the detergent left an oxidation on the surface, if I did it again I’d run it without soap. 👍😀

Ihave thought about buying a cheap used dishwasher for use as a parts washer, and yeah i nearly got thrown out the house when I cleaned a engine block in the shower! My excuse, I needed hot water! I got hot water all right, I was swimming in it!!!

Have you ever painted any rubber intake bellows if so what did you use.
No. I would imagine it wouldn’t adhere very well to soft rubber.
Did you sand it down first, if so what grit?

how does the paint handle woth the high temps?
The bedcoating holds up great on intakes and coldside piping. If you watch more videos you’ll see I’ve been using this stuff on everything from intakes to camper/trailer tongues for years. I love the textured finish it leaves and it’s very durable as long as you let it cure properly.

What are the chance of paint flakes being sucked into the engine if you paint the full pipes?
Zero since the paint is on the outside of the piping.
@@BadLuckGarage thinking about painting my pipings wrinkle black. Is it recommended to primer with this kind of paint?
I generally don’t use primer with bed coating. This particular bedcoating can be used with or without primer so the choice is yours.
@@BadLuckGarage ok. Will overtightening the silicone clamps damage the paint? I plan to paint everything including the beads.
