Painting Intercooler Piping Black

  • In this video I drastically improve the appearance of my S15's engine bay by painting my intercooler piping and changing our blue silicone joiners for black ones.
    This was done for about $80 or so and I think it's money well spent.
    There are some con's to doing this job (heat retention) but for a street car I think it should be fine.

    Quick tip, buy a cheap beach tent and use that as a spray booth, helps keep the dust out and its small enough to use in your garage.

    Haha mate, I just finished putting expensive ripple paint on.. and the 4yr old decided to what the hanging pipes with a stick! Wood chips all over wet paint! 😅

    Watching this back did you not wonder why you never put the car outside and painted them in the huge garage you have? 😀

      Peter Willis maybe the intake plenum? Not too sure though.
