I really enjoy MSQC tutorials. I'm not sure if the company reads the comments or not, but may I make a suggestion? When a tool is featured, it would be helpful in the supply list to have the link go directly to the tool instead of the page with all of the rulers and tools. It's frustrating to have to scroll through several pages of rulers and tools to find the one featured. Thanks.
You three together like this makes me think of a Dutch word "gezellig" that means companionable / togetherness, comfortable, cozy, friendly and warmth. Thank you for doing an inspiring tutorial.
Misty’s quilt is pretty. I love the four different blocks, giving more symmetry to the quilt, but when she held up her second quilt, the baby quilt/table topper quilt… WOW! It’s beautiful! 😍
I love tutorials on how to use a special tool. All three of you wonderful ladies teach all of us so very much! A great big thank you for all you do for us.
Morning from UK sat here with my first pot of coffee. Just love watching your videos Jenny & team . Only trouble is I waste so much time sitting & watching them . Which I haven’t time to do today as family coming for dinner tonight & I’m making lasagna for all of us & I do it from scratch . So I will watch you all later . We all need new things to do this year especially me . ❤
Do you make your lasagna noodles from scratch as well? I make my lasagna from scratch all but the noodles. I have never made homemade pasta, I make homemade bread but I am guessing not the same thing when making pasta.
I’ve never like the hourglass block, however Natalie has changed my mind! I just love the design on her quilt! Gold Star ⭐️ Natalie for changing this grandma’s mind!
I am making Natalie's quilt, I love the easy way to make the hour glass. The block is easy to make, but a lot of steps. I have 90 hour glass pieces made 50 to go. One thing that I did was use the 10" square to square it up as my last step. I started using the "Clearly Perfect Trimer", but I could not get that perfect square. I hope that all makes sense.
I love my slotted trimmer, thank you for introducing me to them. I could never get on with squaring up after pressing. Now a whole new world of HSTs has been opened up to me lol😂
I like your Baby Lock sewing machine better than the one you are using 😉 This machine seems to take longer to cut the thread and release the fabric. Maybe it's just me, but I love your tutorials with my morning coffee and the company of 3 lovely ladies.
Sie sind einfach super, ich bewundere eure Arbeit und Talent seit vielen Jahren. Ich kenne leider kein Englisch aber ich schaue trotzdem euren Kanal. Schöne Grüße aus Dortmund 👍
I love triple play days, and I love the perfectly clearly slotted triangle!! Natalie your quilt is adorable and moved to the top of my list to make next!!
I first learned about the Perfectly Clear Slotted Trimmer from Jenny when she used it in one of her tutorials. I bought it way back then, and I love it. It makes HSTs so much easier! ❤
I made a “Lady of the Lake” 3 years ago for my sister. I learned to use this trimmer then. It made squaring the hsts a lot easier. Between the slotted trimmer & block lock hsts are no longer a problem
I have both sets of tools too. You would think you only need one style but it’s so interesting how often one is a better “fit” over the other for the particular project you’re working on.
Wow! Love all the quilts today. Jenny the method you used to show us the quarter half square triangle today is brilliant! ❤ thank you for making Friday a "Funday"!
I immediately bought the pattern for Misty's quilt. I had a tiger panel that I just had to use in this project. I made my center panel 32" x 40" as I didnt want to lose any of the beautiful panel. It turned out fabulous. This is maybe the best panel pattern I have every seen. Thank you.
Hello - This is Kari from New Leaf Stitches who developed the Slotted Trimmers. I"m glad you liked that technique. If you go to my website and scroll down to the bottom of the page with the Slotted Trimmers, you'll find a chart showing you how to cut for various sizes. Happy stitchin'
I just started to watch this…will finish watching tomorrow. But I have to say…Misty, that quilt is stunning! All the work in the border makes a beautiful frame for the panel. A work of art!
What beautiful quilts! Triple Play is my favorite, love how you take the same thing and get three different quilts. The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer I always thought was a wonderful tool, but now I think it is amazing. Thank you Ladies!
Had to chuckle a bit when Jenny automatically reached back to raise the presser foot. I do the same thing when I’ve been using my Featherweight & then switch back to my “modern” machine. Funny but I never start to reach for the button when I switch the other way. It’s the ingrained reflex from a lifetime of sewing on those older machines.
I love this Triple play of Missouri Star. Each of them have their own style n creativity. What a blessing !! Hopefully this will continue on with the new generation n so forth... lovely attribute to being women all over the world!!❤❤
I feel so grateful to have you three talented quilters share your expertise with the quilting world. Your videos are fun to watch and I always learn something. Thank you so much!
I used Natalie’s “Happy hourglass”with “Playtime flannel” to make a baby quilt for my soon to be born grandson/granddaughter. The quilt is classic and I so very much appreciate Natalie’s beautiful designs. Thank you Natalie.
When you announce the other day that this months triple play block was going to be half square triangles, I wasn’t sure if I was going to watch. So very glad I did. Can’t believe the amazing things you three beautiful ladies showed us today. I got this ruler set not too long ago and have not used it yet. But I know what I’m going to be doing next week and probably the week after. Three amazing quilts that I need to make. Looks like so much fun. And now that I know how to use the rulers, I’m not afraid to make the half square triangles. Thank you so very much for sharing your time and talents with us.
I have watched and liked so many of your tutorials and I also subscribed. But, I've never commented and said thank you so much for your ability to make quilting a much more understandable world for this newbie. You and Natalie and Misty are so good together - and you show how many options exist for just one idea. It's quite freeing to see you all produce gorgeous results with different techniques. Keep on keeping on!!
Mom, let Natalie do the job without repeating the instructions. I have 3 daughters, and I learned early on that they resent repeatedly being told what to do. I love your work. The 3 of you do wonderful work and make it look so easy. Keep it going.😊
Triple Play is one of my favorite videos on Missouri Star!! Thank you, Jenny, Natalie and Misty for excellent choices!! So fun to watch!! Peace, love and blessings for a wonderful, healthy New Year 2024!!! Vicki
Ok, so I’ve already commented, but I have to say I forgot to mention how much I love all the quilts this time!! Y’all are great teachers. I love making the hourglass blocks. And Jenny introduced me to a new way of making the 3 piece HST, Thanks!!!
Good morning from Benin! Misti’s quilt is stunning! I have to admit I’m partial to anything by Fancy That Designs. I always like when there is extra fabric that I can use for matching pillows.
Wow! I really learned a few things here! Using the ruler to trim the QST blocks. That’s so much easier! And the tube quilting too. Fantastic quilts and thanks you
Hi girls, I am from South Africa and enjoy your chanel so much and was inspired with triple play and had to make Natalie's version. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow, I simply can't say which quilt is my favorite. I bought this ruler set a year ago. Now, I am going to make all three of your quilt's. This was a fantastic video Jenny, Natalie, and Misty. Thank you all so very much.
I loved the collective gasp when you showed your open seams, Jenny!! 😂 That was a good one... but also necessary for that purpose of not twisting the seams when you go down the other way. But, you could also turn it over and watch your seams and manipulate them as needed. More great scrappy ideas, Natalie! Misty's bonus project was my favorite of all of them, though! Great way to start the year. Happy quilting!! 🧵🪡
Another great video of how versatile half square triangles are & how different quilts can look using them. Each of you are excellent at explaining the piecing process as well as designing them. Triple Play day is a favorite for me!
I LOVE the new music! Thank You!! I do have to admit that I liked the old Babylock Accomplish machine better though. It seems like too much time in waiting for the machine to respond with the Bernette. (Sorry)
Again, a great video. I use that ruler a lot. Love it. Now I know how to use two colors with a background. Thank you. So much fun. Always learning from you girls! ❤❤
Love all three of these quilts, ladies. Each fabric line is beautiful. The clearly perfect slotted ruler is brilliant! Thank you so much for this triple play. It's a homerun. 😊❤
I love all of the quilts. great job Ladies. Fabric line you each chose was super. I love your tutorials and so fun to watch and see what you each do. Thank you. Ive been using the Perfectly Slotted Trimmer for years. A big thank you
Oh I love the quilt Natalie made! It is so pretty and I love that fabric line so I am off to order the materials to make this gorgeous quilt. It will be perfect for my daughter's birthday. Thank you for sharing these beauties. Love triple play day. It is my favorite!
So lovely, all three! I adore the fabric collections each of you chose. Thank you for another wonderful triple play tutorial ❤(My favourite is Misty’s. I am already planning which precious layer cake to cut into!)
I love all your quilt ideas, but Misty’s really gave me a new type of border idea to use on Quilts of Honor using panels. I’m not really great at math but since we make quilts that measure 60x72, I’m going to have to figure it out! Thanks ladies for yet another Triple!!!❤
A friend who does lots of panels suggests spraying with water to dampen and then very gently stretching it from opposing corners. (Stretch by holding upper left and lower right corners and pull gently.) Repeat until squared as close as you can. Let dry, iron flat, and trim slightly to complete the process. She teaches this and emphasizes “very gently “

What is the measurement for the centre square in the smaller quilt please?
@@robynmiller8385Misty said she cut the centre 35” square
Using the perfect slotted trimer is so much quicker because you only have to trim 2 sides. Love all 3 quilt ideas, great job as always!
I love tutorials on how to use a special tool. All three of you wonderful ladies teach all of us so very much! A great big thank you for all you do for us.
Love Misty’s bonus project❤
This video shows just how skilled these ladies are with techniques and design. It’s a joy to watch you in action!
I didn't think it possible, but you really amazed us more than ever with this Triple Play. What a way to start 2024! Thank you!
Morning from UK sat here with my first pot of coffee. Just love watching your videos Jenny & team . Only trouble is I waste so much time sitting & watching them . Fresh Lasagna sounds delicious!
Dinner sounds yummy from Toledo, Ohio USA! ENJOY!
Do you make your lasagna noodles from scratch as well? I make my lasagna from scratch all but the noodles. I have never made homemade pasta, I make homemade bread but I am guessing not the same thing when making pasta.

The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmer is my number one favourite sewing tool. (Also love Triple Play Day!) 💙
Triple Play Day is my favorite day of the month!!! You are all so creative and you're all great teachers! Thank you 💚💚💚
I love my slotted trimmer, thank you for introducing me to them. I could never get on with squaring up after pressing. Now a whole new world of HSTs has been opened up to me lol😂
Great for Valentines Day… I see X’s and O’s in Jenny’s quilt. Reds and pinks and whites would be beautiful!
You’re right! What a great color choice! Thanks for sharing this 😃
That’s exactly what I thought! Came to the comments to see if anyone else saw it. 😊🩷
I like your Baby Lock sewing machine better than the one you are using 😉 This machine seems to take longer to cut the thread and release the fabric. Maybe it's just me, but I love your tutorials with my morning coffee and the company of 3 lovely ladies.
All 3 quilts were terrific but Jenny knocked it out of the park! The technique was so fun.😊
Misty, I just love your clever placement of the triangles! So beautiful!!
Absolutely beautiful quilts. I must admit, Natalie's is favorite this time. Thank you for sharing
Just want to tell Natalie she looks good.
Jenny, your method would also look so cool using a charm pack! Thanks ladies.
I kept waiting for you girls to talk about the new machine that is being used in this vid. Curious! Loved all three ideas and the bonus too!
I LOVE EACH OF THESE QUILTS!!! THEY ARE DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER YET SO PRETTY
Love Natalie's quilt!
Misty made my favorite quilt today. My mom gave me the trimmers several years ago. So handy!❤
I first learned about the Perfectly Clear Slotted Trimmer from Jenny when she used it in one of her tutorials. I bought it way back then, and I love it. It makes HSTs so much easier! ❤

Jenny, loved your 1.5 half square triangle method, and the other methods also. Thank you for being here for us.
i sure thankyou for this video. i've had these rulers for a while but was not really sure how to use them. thankyou so much!!
Jenny's tube method is blowing my mind a bit. All of these are wonderful! Clever as always. Great job, girls!

Looks like y’all are all learning a new sewing machine. Love all 3 quilts!!
While I like Bernina machines this one is much louder than the Baby Lock machines.
Love these videos! It’s such a treat to learn from MSQC!
I really enjoy Triple Play. Today's show was exciting. I can't wait to try the slotted trimmer.
I used Natalie’s “Happy hourglass”with “Playtime flannel” to make a baby quilt for my soon to be born grandson/granddaughter. The quilt is classic and I so very much appreciate Natalie’s beautiful designs. Thank you Natalie.
I love the Clearly Slotted Trimmer! It make squaring up my half square triangles so easy! Thank you for showing different ideas to use them!
Yes me too...I got one as a gift and didn't really know how to use

I enjoyed this triple play. Thank you ladies. Mrs. Jenny won me over with hers!

I’m looking forward to watching this video as I’ve recently purchased these rulers - I have all of them now! I just need to remember to use them!
Mom, let Natalie do the job without repeating the instructions. I have 3 daughters, and I learned early on that they resent repeatedly being told what to do. I love your work. The 3 of you do wonderful work and make it look so easy. Keep it going.😊
Oh, how I love the gals at Missouri Star Quilt Company for lovin' and using my Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmers! Kari from New Leaf Stitches
Three gorgeous quilts! You girls never disappoint!
I have learned so much! This is a stone of my most favorite you tube tutorials.
Triple Play is one of my favorite videos on Missouri Star!! Thank you, Jenny, Natalie and Misty for excellent choices!! So fun to watch!! Peace, love and blessings for a wonderful, healthy New Year 2024!!! Vicki
3 beautiful quilts from a simple block, can’t choose a favorite favorite, amazing talented ladies. TFS
Ok, so I’ve already commented, but I have to say I forgot to mention how much I love all the quilts this time!! Y’all are great teachers. I love making the hourglass blocks. And Jenny introduced me to a new way of making the 3 piece HST, Thanks!!!
Jenny, Natalie knows you are really talking to all of us with your sewing advise. GREAT job ladies
Fantastic quilts and thanks you
I like your new machine. Hope you are enjoying using it.
You ladies have amazed me again! I look forward to your tutorials each week! Thank you for the inspiration and new ideas!
Misty, this is lovely. I have a panel I love for this. Natalie has spring coming. Jennie taught me something as always. Three beautiful quilts.
You three surprise me every time. I love all three quilts. They are wonderful!! Many thanks!
Hi girls, I am from South Africa and enjoy your chanel so much and was inspired with triple play and had to make Natalie's version. Thank you so much for sharing!
Love how you make half sq triangles with the 10” sq. Great tips girls. Very pretty quilts 👏
I am going to have to get me one of those trimmers! Beautiful quilts. Thanks for the tutorials!
Hi guys. I love all the quilts in your triple play. Such cute ideas. I haven’t worked much with the triangles, but your method makes it so simple.
Love all three. And that you ladies make it so easy to get beautiful designs
Love love love Mistys' quilt. Love watch all your videos to see what's new.
Love these quilts! I have been squaring after ironing, with mixed results... I need to try those half square trimmers!
Wow, I simply can't say which quilt is my favorite.
I bought this ruler set a year ago.
Now, I am going to make all three of your quilt's.
This was a fantastic video Jenny, Natalie, and Misty.
Thank you all so very much.
Beautiful quilts. I love my clearly perfect slotted trimmers. Thank you lovely ladies!
I’ve had a panel for so long and now I know what to do with it!
Really like this tutorial. I have the rulers, so now I know how to use them to make wonderful quilts!
Loved the totally different looks you all got from one simple block!
Love Nat’s quilt
They are all so pretty! This triple play is fantastic. Thank you for the inspiration!
Love triple play days. Always wonderful ideas. Very happy you are back to a set where we can see the quilt in the background. MUCH better!
I like all 3 quilts....for different reasons. Thanks for the video 😊
Another great video of how versatile half square triangles are & how different quilts can look using them. Each of you are excellent at explaining the piecing process as well as designing them. Triple Play day is a favorite for me!
That is a new sewing machine and it is very loud! Love how different these are!
I love these rulers they were a game changer for me
I have collected so many panels. This gives me ideas!
Already love the Trimmers..love what you created with them even more! Thank you!
This would be easy to adapt to a table runner. I would use your bonus as a table topper! ❤
Love all three of these quilts, ladies. Each fabric line is beautiful. The clearly perfect slotted ruler is brilliant! Thank you so much for this triple play. It's a homerun. 😊❤
Misty's quilt is pretty. I would have tried making 2 separate rows for the inner borders. All are lovely.
They were all fun, but Jenny's technique was REALLY fun!!! 🥰🥰 So many ideas now!
Pretty quilt, Misty. I love the small one without the panel. I really like all three!
I love all of the quilts. great job Ladies. Fabric line you each chose was super. I love your tutorials and so fun to watch and see what you each do. Thank you. Ive been using the Perfectly Slotted Trimmer for years. A big thank you
Those fabrics in Natalie's quilt are beautiful!
Thank you ladies for sharing your talent and those awesome quilts with the half square triangles you did it again like always ❣️❣️🪡🧵💓💕💕💖
I have to giggle, because I received my clearly perfect slotted trimmer set from MSQC yesterday! Thank you ladies for another wonderful triple play! 🥰
I always avoid the panels because I don’t know how to square such a large piece. It would be great if you ladies could demonstrate how to do this.
If you fold a panel diagonally you can easily see how to cut it to make it square by cutting off the extra.
The hour glass quilt block would be a great stash quilt
I love Triple Play. The quilts are always so interesting and beautiful.
I love them all and will make all three. Thank you ladies so much for your fun tutorials ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is going to come together much faster than the way I’ve done it thank you
