Today i bought and already have it. As u said that Arctis 1 has traditional adjustable headband so it could be fits on my big head also more stretchable so i think it's more durable than 3.
I saw many people comments who have Arctis 3, 5, and above in other videos have the same broken issue between the connection of headband and earcup are separated so that's why i bought the Arctis 1.
But yeah the cons it's having nondetachable wired which is i could lost everything someday if it's broken. Must be gentle with it and covering the wired with spiral cable protector 😁.

I bought both and returned the Wireless 1. The wireless 1 although it sounds nice and loud it was crap when it came to connection issues. It would disconnect me multiple times during game play. Another con is the mic it’s horrible team mates had a hard time hearing me fortnite, Destiny on the PS4. When I got the console Edition 3 it’s awesome not quite as loud but perfect retractable mic and great sound quality. Save yourself the aggravation and the money go with the 3s I did a bunch of research. Also with the 3s if the cable goes bad you can replace it. Last the wireless 1s came very flimsy and loose on one of the earcups only after 2 weeks. Steelseries Stick with what’s proven the ski headband set up and retractable mic. Both things suck on the Wireless 1. Hope this helps.
Looking for a nicely priced headset with all around great quality, would you say this is the best option for the 40-60 price range? don’t want to spend a awful lot because had quite a few high end headsets that broke one way or another.

i would definitely recommend the arctis 1 wireless if you have the budget. you can use it both wire or wireless. Been using the arctis 1 wireless for awhile and it is amazing and comfortable to use. Wireless is exactly the same as the wired one except you use an USB C dongle to connect to your devices. And best of all you can use it on android devices or N.Switch
hi...so i have something to say. So i want to buy headphones for gaming (with mic) and also use that same headphones for the gym but i also want it wireless so it doesn't get in the way. do you think i should get the arctis 1 or 3?
With the arctis 3 console edition does it matter if i use a different hyperx splitter to conncet to my PC?

The only reason I’m picking the 3’s is bcos the r £60 in the UK and the headband looks so cool and just looks cooler in general lol and great content brother it really helped me decide and go with 3’s

So today i bought the Astto a50' with mix amp. I used to have one many years ago with my ps3 and 4. I stopped gaming from 2018 and got back couple weeks ago.
So i bought a bew ps4 slim and decided to get the astro, too. BUT the ps4 slim does not have optical out, so i need to buy a hdmi audio extractor 😔 to use the 5.1 dolby sorround sound.
Is there a good headset at budget from steel series for surround sound that does not need the optical output?

I git that exactly i bought the artic 1 for 60 euros (50 dollars) and then i saw the artic 3 for 65 euro on a website so i was like damn i missed out but this vid gave me a peace of mind and i am happy that i bought the artic 1

I bought a. Arctis one out the box it would not connect wireless on pc or ps Arctis sent me another dongle still the same. Have you had any problems with connections.

I wish steelseries made a budget version of the arctis pro wireless. It might just be me, but i also much rather prefer detachable mics since they look more asthetically pleasing.
yeah, i like detachable mic's, find that hide away mic will be an issue in the future.
It's not like replacing a lost mic will be super expensive.
I would probably go for the Arctis 1: I prefer having detachable microphone / I prefer the mute switch on those as well / I would never use the SharePort feature on the 3 / I'm not into USB headsets / and I feel the 1 seems better built for durability than the Arctis 3 I've heard horror stories on those.
FYI i had the corsair HS50 for more than a year with a detachable headset, if you eat while you game it gets annoying so I bought the Arctis 7 instead.
Well actually I'm using headphones (waiting for my Sennheiser HD280 Pro to be delivered - using Brainwavz HM5 and Sony MDRV6 in the meantime) with an XLR microphone so I'm not really into gaming headsets nowadays.
Is mandatory to connect the USB b cable in arctis 3 or can I just use the 3.5mm jack??
I hear hissing with the mic test will people be able to hear that or does that just happen when you record? Cause i watched a few other reviews and some videos hiss louder when they're doing the mic test

Love your videos! :P Before i bought my Arctis 3 i watched your videos, now i want to get arctis 1 cuz it's like 29 USD worth of my currency and way cheaper than the 3. I don't mind the mic cuz on my 3 it was already broken and i got used to it being always out. XD
I am a fan of both as I have owned both but overall in sound the Arctis 1 is better but build quality is better on Arctis 3. I normally use Arctis 3 as the mic pushes in and also has a detachable cable to put away to save space. Sound is still pretty good on arctis 3. Mic is the exact same but this yeah is my opinion.....

Any stereo headset can enable the windows sonic. Is there any difference with the windows 10 sonic than other virtual surround in steelseries engine with dtsx? Which is better in fps games? Arctis 3 or 5?

I use arctis 1 and I like it too. Personally there is almost no difference between the two headsets except for the headband on the arctis 3.

I just bought the razer blackshark v2s and I can’t stand them. Getting headaches and feel like I’m recovering from a cold every time I finish gaming.

I bought the arctis 1 wireless. So I can use them in multiple ways, even with my phone. Plus they fit my head way better than the rest of the arctis lineup. I just leave the headset sit over one speaker. When not using them and they are even more comfortable.
How comfy they're, I use glasses so it's a problem with a lot of headsets for me
@@Victor_Tapia I don't wear glasses. So I can't answer that question. I do keep them over one of my speakers. So the clap force isn't as bad. It isn't horrible but I like my headset to a little loser. I can't remember if Techne covered the glasses in his review.

Arctis 3 u spend a little more but for someone that's looking for a headset for gaming alone go with the Arctis 3. For something more versatile and if you need a headset for more than just gaming then the Arctis 1 is your headset.

Rival 3 is awesome aim has improved so much with it might be a steelseries fan boy now
look into getting creative aurvana lives and a cheap lavalier mic. It works out around the same price and you get much better sound quality :)
