How's the surround sound? My headset broke recently and I was looking at getting these, I've never experienced 7.1 surround before just stereo, will I notice a difference?

Hey techne! Love your videos. They’re by far the most informative. I wear glasses and the razer kraken pro v1s give me a massive headache after using them for an hour or so. Debating whether I should get these or the steel series arctis 7s! Solely based on comfort, which out of the two would you recommend? And is there much of a difference even? Thanks!

3 years late to the party but bought this headset recently based off this review, have to say I don't think I'll be buying another headset without this guy's approval
Thanks for your review. My main concern with this style of headset is comfort. I wear glasses and often find over-the-ear headphones hurt my ears and temples pretty quickly. Your demonstration of the movement of the ear cups and cushioning is what I wanted to see. Thanks, I think I'll go ahead and get them, for online gaming with Discord. Cheers!

Yea I've have a had them for a while now I got them for pc and thare so comfortable and are great headsets plus if you talk to steelseries they help you out on chat really good people they hep me right away on questions and I told them how much I like thare headset and they were glad id like them very professional on how they help you

@@moushroemxxx878 sound quality is really good, very nice detail, no harsh treble, deep bass but for me it lacks a bit of bass punch.
Hey is this headset usb or 3.5 mm? And could you hear the direction of the enemies in the games you were playing (assuming you play games like those)
@@reburn1479 Both, you can change the tip with included jack or plug it into the volume dial with the usb plug and yeah it's good I guess especially on fps games.

Could you help me? on my steel series engine, every once in awhile it says "Reconnect Headset" is this normal? I tried replugging and restarting the app and my pc and it still goes like that.
Hello ! I really need some help over here.. when i plug my arctis 5 via usb to my console and then start it i can hear myself after i log in as a user to ps4. It's gone when i unplug and plug in usb again to my ps4. Any solution so i dont need to do it everytime i log into my console ? Sidetone is off on pc

Techne, you can also plus the usb card Into PS4 for RGB lighting and better sound quality than DS4. I used to use this headset all the time before I got the arctis 1
yeah, I tested it with USB and 3.5, again they were okay, just much better on PC
Oh absolutely! That’s why I love the arctis 1. Premium sound with a better headband for my head! Same drivers as arctis 3 and 5 and 7
