Being able to listen to the mic quality during the review of each headset is a HUGE factor that many reviewers skip. I would love to see a new $50 review like this one for 2020. And I would love to see an ultra budget version of this review format for the $40 and under range to see what might work for ultra budget steamer startups as I see a ton of headsets in the $20-35 range. Again, thanks for this great mic comparison review. Others cover mostly the $100+ range.

Thanks for your video. I ended up getting the HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming, because of the swivel for comfort, and as recommended by some friends. The volume slider isn't much of an issue for me, since it does the job. I'm enjoying this both for my gaming, and for work.

ive had the stingers for 2 and a half years now and even after a lot of damages, the audio and mic is still perfect but i still gotta get new ones though cause they look nasty now lol. The only problem is that because of all these comments talking about their stingers being damaged in a short amount of time, I can't decide between the Kraken x and rebuying the stingers.
I had the kraken X before my car actually ate it and the sound quality was on fleek plus it was very confortable but as soon as I’m on discord w it there was a terrible echo for the ppl talking w me ^^

I ended up going with the Redragon because I thought the mic quality sounded superb, the overall design of it is slick, and love that it has the USB dongle. Since my main purpose for these is PC gaming, it's perfect. Also has a detachable mic which I've never had before and like that option if I'm just using it for audio. Thanks again!
@@Check2311w yes for sure. The sound is comparable to higher-end headsets. For the price tag I think they can't be beat! They look very sleek and my only problem is they do fit a bit tight on the head but that may just be me as I'm quite sensitive with anything I have over my ears.
the g332 was my road dog for a few years until I stopped getting sound out of one of the ears, biggest issue I had with it was the cord kept tangling up which eventually destroyed it over time... I tried unwinding it regularly but it always was tangled. Great Sound in the thing and good mic I loved it for CSGO.

Great video, really enjoy your positive energy and honest opinions. One suggestion for the future, be sure to mention the connections (3.5mm / USB) and cable length. No one seems to talk about these features, but they are very important - especially if your console or PC is hidden or far away from where you work/play.
One that's sold in quite a few shops: Gamestop, Walmart, ASDA, Tesco, Game etc. is the Turtle Beach Earforce Recon 70P. Although I've had it for a few years (2-3 at least), I've noticed a few flaws: it gets uncomfortable on the top of head after a while; you hear more through your left ear than the right; to clarify, they're not active noise-cancelling but they're noise cancelling, which is fine but the noise-cancelling ear-cups aren't that comfortable; if you turn the volume up all the way on the left ear, the volume/sound quality is less than if you 'turn it down' a little bit.
I have the Zeus for 1 week. And I can say that I was very surprised by the microphone, any idea why this headset has a good microphone? The sound in general is very good in videogames (I am not an expert in audio, but for me they sound very good), since I think that these headsets are not for listening to music (except for some headsets in particular cases). I could say that the Zeus are headsets that could cost $60-$70 or more dollars, and I got them for only $40.

I used to mute/unmute myself a few times everytime but the last 2 months the mic started making some noises ant the last week it doesn't work. But thanks to your tip I'll add in the 3 year added protection plan for $5.99. I do hang on to my basic tech for a long time if it's good and will take advantage of warranties. I had a Sony pair of studio headphones from 1991 for over 20 years.
You should’ve tried the Corsair HS60 ix has a great mic, great cushion, but out of the box the clamping force is strong but when you use it it loosens, and jt can do everything to from extending, swiveling and tilting, and it is only 52.99, or you could get the HS50 for 48.99 but I would recommend the HS60’s😊, and the construction is a nice metal but it’s super comfortable and not heavy, trust me it’s so worth it and you can get the V2 Pro version for only $50
I just got the Redragon to replace my 8 year old Sennheiser 360s and they are amazing. Not super surprised from the brand since I have one of their cheap mice and it performs just as well as any Razer or Logitech one I have had. Thanks for the recommendation, never even thought of buying one of their headsets.

I got the Redragon and boy, this headphone is awesome, the best mic I have seen on a Headset, I record podcasts and gameplays on my Samson Q7 and when I am lazy I just use the HS mic, incredible! The sound is incredible and this HS took me by surprise!
ive used cloud stinger everyday for about a year. i wear them from 3pm to 5 am with little breaks, i can say they feel so comfortable that they feel the same as when i first put them on when i take them off

Red dragon The sound is there, everything with the balance is perfect. Looks beautiful especially with the metal helping the duribalility. Perfectly balance as all things should be.
@@MK7Logan When you see come in the casing its unbelievable how well it's done. If you use it for pc everything will be fine. But if you use it for a console the you cant use the mute button which disappointed me. If the sound quality sounds low just take out the ear foam which is behind the fat ear piece. Other then that I love it.

Just got the Turtle Beach Recon 200’s they go for $60 but it feels like a $100 headset.
Mitchell Permenter imo the Stealth 450’s are worth it. Think they are the same price but wireless and I’ve not heard anything particularly bad.

I got the Redragon and boy, this headphone is awesome, the best mic I have seen on a Headset, I record podcasts and gameplays on my Samson Q7 and when I am lazy I just use the HS mic, incredible! The sound is incredible and this HS took me by surprise!

On Amazon there's a lot of reviews on the hyperX having issues and breaking down, or not working after 2 weeks. Is there actually problems with it?

ive used cloud stinger everyday for about a year. i wear them from 3pm to 5 am with little breaks, i can say they feel so comfortable that they feel the same as when i first put them on when i take them off

I got the Redragon Zeus 2. Being able to use it on every device possible got me splurging for $50 instead of $30-$40 (in Philippines). I also got mine for ₱1895, roughly $39.5 on Christmas😃 absolutely in love with the comfort, sound, and mic! Tried it for my streaming yesterday and it was 💯

Red dragon The sound is there, everything with the balance is perfect. Looks beautiful especially with the metal helping the duribalility.

@@MK7Logan When you see come in the casing its unbelievable how well it's done. If you use it for pc everything will be fine. But if you use it for a console the you cant use the mute button which disappointed me. If the sound quality sounds low just take out the ear foam which is behind the fat ear piece. Other then that I love it.

I like how the mute sound for the HyperX is just a sharp click. It's not noisy like you're ruffling with the microphone.

really helpful my mic just broke and I needed a new one and was trying to choose before steelseries and hyper x stinger and chose the stinger because I don’t need to remove my mic with the steelseries and I really love the hyper x stinger with the flip to mute mic great video greatly appreciated made my choice very easy
