Straight up undid and re-sewed Woody's outfit just to make sure he had the correct amount of squares on his shirt and the right amount of stitches on the knees. That's some admirable dedication!
I feel like all Woody dolls I've seen always look off someway compared to the movies, but your version came out amazing! Just like the movies. Finally, one that is accurate
This is the reason why, as a child, for like 3 years I kept looking for the "correct version of woody" even just finding one with a pull string was impossible, (this was back when toy story 2 had yet to come out) it was quite the hunt, sadly never found one. Closest one was a santa version of woody. Even then it was never the same. LoL
I really like the hand painted look on the hair. It came out really well! I feel like if you did it with decals it would be difficult because of the wavy form of the head. The only thing I could think is masking with tape and then cuttingol out the lines once masked but you'd risk cutting the form.
You are right, masking could be a possible way but yeah, the cutting would be risky. I might have to experiment on the decal softener that some of the viewers have suggested and hopefully find a way to make it work.
This looks so fantastic!! You should check out Pullip dolls. They're partly designed to be taken apart and customized. They have moving eyes as well that you can control with a little piece of plastic on the back of their head. And if you ever wanted to customize them the wigs are glued on and the heads just have a few screws you can undo. I've always wanted to customize one myself cuz you can buy better quality body types and wigs--since the official ones usually fall apart. But it would probably be a nice hobby for you since they're designed to make the tedious parts of customizing a little easier.
Holy smokes that was awesome!! The Woody doll came out so well!!! I thought you’d sacrifice some articulation to give him to give him a voice box. And the hands!! Wow! Crazy! Did you change his sherif badge as well?
Yeah I did, it was from the previous Woody custom, just different paints. Hmm... The voice box didn't really cross my mind cause I think I was looking at it as an 'Alive mode' Woody I guess.
Your attention to detail is incredible! Your hand painting skills are definitely showing. I think the paint is sabotaging you. It doesn't flow so well, making it harder to paint fine details. Acrylic medium may help =)
Nice , you've gone jack of all trades on this one! Top job! I've not used epoxy putty , how was it's adhesion, did it need a key on the surface or support structure for the Spurs. Interesting developments in skeleton of mk4 .......
Epoxy putty has really great adhesion after curing! You just need a clean surface and it cures rock hard. It requires some patience to really fill up the gaps and blend the putty into the parts you wanna connect with.
New subscriber here and I have to say I'm so happy I found your channel. I love your artwork. Woody came out great! But one question, where can I buy those custom hand? Lol. Love the details on the figure.
Awesome work- but please consider using nitrile gloves when working with apoxie sculpt! If you keep using it bare handed, you could get an allergic reaaction and never be able to comfortably handle it again. Remember to look out for yourself!
Hello, new subscriber here! Just amazed with your work on creating these figurines! Do you take commission orders or know of anyone that does? I’m a plastic scale model hobbyist & may want to attempt doing this myself. I have built a 1/4 scale DeAgostini model of Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha YZR-M1 for which I want to get a matching rider figurine made. I only need the head sculpt. Looking forward to your reply!
I destroy toys. FOR RESEARCH, IM NOT SICK! 10 sec later: So, I ripped his face off. It was difficult , I had to use a screwdriver. Brute force. Then I ripped his cloths apart, and mangled his body.

Revoltech one comes Close
The woody dolls sizes for some reason aren't accurate. I saw this and woody is a little smaller than the hand of andy/Bonnie

Unbelievably beautiful! Great job! What kind of paint brush do you use (for the hair lines)?
Hi
Thank you! It's my favorite brush, the Tamiya 87173 Modeling Pointed Brush PRO II Extra Fine.
Great for tiny details.
@@zedabyu Thank you!
Toy companies should hire you to review/test their models before they begin mass production. Nothing would get past you 💚❤
for painting thin long squiggly hair lines, try a brush with inch plus length bristles. makes the movemnets smoother. Great work!
3:30 ain’t no way bro. Also, I think I have OCD too
1:28 Such a Connor moment XD
That's an outstanding job! Your skills and eye for detail impress me.
More like OCD but thanks 😂
I love watching these videos. My uncle if I remember correctly was the lighting lead for toy story 1.
That's amazing!
7:52 I believe its either a washer or a butterfly joint
This is the best woody I’ve ever seen!

The thing for the holster is called a pop rivet

Yeah, you're definitely Sid.
Looks like the renders too
Good job buddy
When are you going to return to the toy mode woody and fix him
Still in planning phase
@@zedabyu oh om I will be there when you finish
Very accurate and definitely Awesome great job 👏😎🔥!
I think the thing on the holster is either a rivet or fastening button
7:55 it's called a plastic pin fastener, I believe
What scares me is you did such a good job that he looks alive.
For the holster, did you mean eyelet/ grommets instead of a screw?
I think for the holster you can use a swivel button
Amazing!!!
diy medicom woody
amazing as always, bravo 👏
Thanks for making my day :)
Thanks for making mine (:
And mine :)
Wow this woody looks just like he does in the films!
Really like what you did with this one!
Alright man you are awesome good job
Wow that's amazing 👏 great job
Instead of using a screw for the holster. Use a rivet... that is what that the type of connector that was sculpted on the the holster.
When will you make the Takara Tomy Buzz Lightyear custom?
You are exactly like me but I don’t do 1:6 scale figures I do 1:12
You really did a good job keep up the good work ☺️
The woody before you fixed him looks like he is staring into people’s souls at night
The Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire music in the background though!
Great work! Where’d you find the buttons?
Taobao
Is very amazing🤩
Imagine if Hot Toys made a Woody and Buzz.
I'd be out of a job!
Omg it’s Beautiful
Super detailed
@zedabyu do you offer the hand sculpt files?
Wowww
I wonder if the moving eyes work without the substance
incredible work
Hi
That looks sooooo coool 👍
Now that you have a movie accurate Woody and Jesse are you going to be making a movie accurate buzz with collection buzz or takra tomy buzz
That's the plan!
@@zedabyu hopefully you can't wait to see that in the next video because I'm curious to see how you're going to customize buzz
I love this whole video. A+++
That's incredible custom!!
Next is buzz review?
Yup coming soon
@@zedabyu yo feel free to give me toys anytime bro you're welcome 🤗
Damn that looks good the eyelids just made him look high
Or your content is amazing friend!
You need a rivet on the holsterto articulate it.
Is there a specific kind of rivet for it to swivel?

Try Chicago screws for the holster or other knife bolts
Nice job
7:52 it’s called a rivet head
The thing you are looking for for the holster is a rivet.
Is there specific kind of rivets that allows it to swivel?
@@zedabyu any will pretty much work. There are good fabric ones out there. Just size it and don't clamp it down too tight :)
No joke.. I would love to see the link to those buttons

Do you think you could do this with medicom woody if you have the time?
Why not just get a dremel for all the sanding?
Zedabyu,do you know how i can make a woody doll very floppy?
Hmm... remove everything including the stuffing? Maybe, you can try
What buttons?
"Yes im crazy, crazy of accurazy" jsajhdaj
Awesome work- but please consider using nitrile gloves when working with apoxie sculpt! If you keep using it bare handed, you could get an allergic reaaction and never be able to comfortably handle it again. Remember to look out for yourself!
Roger that, thanks for the tip. I will take note when I handle them next time.
Woow Amezing
WOODY🤠
NGL woody looks like Elvis Presley
FIRST!!!!!
no
This is like that scene in toy story 3
you should make the action figure stuffed to make it floppy like the movie
If woodi has a holster. Does that mean he should have weapon
I didn’t know that woody is a member of the avengers 😂
This is exactly what happens to Woody in Toy Story 2 but like for real
that's perfect
Do you sell the files for the hands?
Try puting glue on and let it dry
A rivet instead of a screw for the holster haha
Its so satisfying watching you make cheaply made toys into high definition figures
Glad you think so!
Did this guy just make fun of himself
Cool
I agree so accurate
James Jack Sparrow as Woody
Dude I want your power ranger set up. I only have Bat Of The Sun Version Green Ranger, White and Lord Drakkon. I want the rest of them.
Hasbro's helmets look pretty good

I would like you to make a custom on the spotlight series
Isnt the spotlight series smaller in size?
@@zedabyu approx 23cm
