Honestly whoever did the spooky customization on Woody did an amazing job- The amount of detail they put into the metal stitches and such with the blood is super spooky (which is what I assume they were going for). And the false glass-looking eye is just like a cherry on top for maximum spookiness. I love the restoration progress as well, it was so cool to watch a spooky doll customization go back to the normal cute doll customization (restoration).

@@returnedtomonkey8886 ...okay *most* child’s toy has a soul. Actually i do remember some of Andy’s toys not having a soul so maybe it just depends what kind of toy/doll it is
The fact you used the same kind of tool box that repaired Woody in Toy Story 2 is just a magnificent detail. I just love seeing people repair these forgotten objects (like toys, weapons or consoles) to their former glory and even doing so in a fun and satisfying way.
When you removed Bonnie's name from woodie's boot and wrote Andy's name on that boot, I shed a happy tear 😢. As someone who grew up watching toy story franchise, my heart broke into pieces watching toy story 4, which basically ruined the whole story, Bonnie and Woodie's character for me to the point that I couldn't watch the previous movies anymore. Now watching this reminded me that the only person deserving Woodie is Andy himself. Thank you.✌
I feel the same way, except I'm still able to watch the previous movies. While there's no denying that the animation in Toy Story 4 is amazing, it very much did not feel like it's part of the same franchise as the others.
Wait but wasn’t that resolved in toy story three? He accepted that he was a toy and Andy was too old to have toys, so he accepted that he could be a toy for other people? I think that was kinda the point of toy story 3 and 4, was accepting loss and changing for the better, the whole franchise has about buzz and woody changing for the better. The reason 4 felt different to me is because Woody decided “Ive had a good run, I’m want to have this new life,” and Buzz had to smile and accept it, knowing it would hurt to do so, knowing he’d miss Woody. The entire series has been coping with loss and learning to accept it and even change the things you can control.
@@dapp_attack5974 the reason that for me toy story 4 was unwatchable, was because characters didn't act like themselves anymore. In toy story franchise I learned that a happy toy is a toy that belongs to a child that loves it and takes care of it. Also Woodie is known for his loyalty toward his friends and his child. Now suddenly in toy story 4 that female toy (I don't even remember her name 😅) is the most important thing for Woodie and the story implies that it has always been like this before, which really was not the case. And then proceeds to say that toys don't need kids and stuff to be happy, which basically ignores the whole massage for this franchise. Also when I watched the movie for the second time, I realized that there are some woke stuff in the movie, for the sake of it giving us the massage that female toys are always better and they don't need kids and they are free which is not a bad massage but not to the extent of dumbing down the existing characters like Buzz.
Honestly, this felt like a mini movie in the life of an alternate timeline Sheriff Woody. Torn apart, mangled, and crudely stapled together by, perhaps, a completely innocent looking child, only to be thrown away and forgotten for years, and left scared and alone. One day, he's approached by a tall and scary man clad in black and tattoos, clenching a large box in his fist. The tall man picks him up and carries the frightened Sheriff home. Woody's mind is filled with all sorts of terrifying thoughts about what's to happen to him. He feels all of the staples be pulled out his face, and the last thing he remembers before his consciousness fading, is the sight of his friend Buzz Lightyear... then... darkness... nothing... completely unaware of anything and everything going on around him. . . . . . Suddenly, he awakens. His face feels complete again. His arm feels strong. His clothes feel and smell fresh once again. He can see through both of his eyes. And the first thing he sees, are his friends Buzz, Jessie, and Rex, and his new best friend, the man in black, Andy.
Mad props for recreating that scene in Toy Story 2 so perfectly. And the levels of patience and care you show for this, and every other project, is phenomenal.

If I saw this guy at a yard sale or a convention, I would think it was done for. As much as I would want to, I would never have the patience to restore him lol so I really enjoyed watching this!
I can’t stop watching this! Great on how you set everything up; love Buzz using his laser n Jessie holding the fan 😂 and how the toolbox is exactly the same as in the movie. Brilliant!!!!!
I imagine that this is what Sid did after he was terrorized by the dolls and woody. He swore that he would never do any harm to a toy again and he would help the ones who had been harmed
I just wanted to say that this goes so far beyond a restoration video. Your attention to detail in the movie references is absolutely brilliant, especially the chair woody goes in (which is still my favourite scene from all of the movies). You've gone far and beyond to make this as entertaining as possible and the way you fixed him up is quite literally remarkable. Excellent content my friend. Never stop making videos. The time and effort you put into everything is amazing. I laughed so much with this one. The surgical care you gave your patient, plus you make housecalls with a portable operating room. I suspect you will become highly recommended to the toy community. Your sense of humor is subtle and effective. Turning the washing machine around, cracked me up. Are you the grandson of the old man who restored toys in a second toy story
Ok and thank you for the video 😊
I’m very impressed with the work someone did to make a spooky woody. That was some great art too
Whoever turned Woody into a zombie did a great job. Apparently it wasn't just a kid. It had to have been a professional.
You did an amazing job on restoring Sheriff Woody. I love this video. Super awesome job, sir. 👍
Thanks Tasha for watching and for your kind words I really appreciate it 👍🏻 :)
@@AwesomeRestorations I don't wanna be mean but the belt buckles worng sorry....
From me I'm 39 y old let me say thank u for u doing this job and thanks u u let me feeling amazing feel that I saw woddy repair again it's make me feel like part of my heart repaired again ❤
He was destroyed. And you brought him back to life. This was the most beautiful thing I've seen all week.
thank you so much Gilberto :)
Man, this is just amazing. It's just stupidly and unnecessarily difficult and detailed and I would just buy a new one hahah but the amount of work that you put on it is just amazing... perfection!
thanks Carlos :)
And, and, and..... How many are you gonna put in one sentence?
“He’s for display only. You handle him too much, he’s not gonna last.”
“Ooh, it’s amazing! You’re a genius! He’s just like new!!!”
Hasta pronto y gracias por su atención lote en el improductivas
Believe it Or not i actually play the OST from the movie
@@SimpleRex101 nice were you a composer of the song?
Nice job on the line
The dedication and patience 😮

I love Regular Woody a lot but I also have a passion for horror and this "Cyber Zombie Woody" custom is actually fantastic. It's a piece of art in his own right, imho! A trip to an alternate universe where Woody never leave Sid's house haha!
Yes it really was a very cool edition :)
@@AwesomeRestorations Indeed, I also love the very specific tool box like in Toy Story 2!
I like to imagine Woody eventually would get used to it, probably end up being the leader of Sid's other creations.
@@SonicUnderground316 I just came here from the video of the guy who made that tool box
Zombie woody kinda scares me and i feel bad for him
Realmente é fantástico trabalho que você faz eu achando que você só trabalhava com tipo de restauração mas vejo que você é muito além no seu trabalho parabéns.....
muito obrigado :)
Woody used to bring happiness to my heart. Seeing him restored was incredible. Ty...so glad your video showed up on my feed. ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it Jennifer :)
Every time I watch your videos, I'm amazed, but feel that "this must be the best there will ever be". Then you made this one. Unbelievable, the transformation from what was, to what is, is breath-taking. What else can I say? This video is worthy of an Emmy award. And the toolbox is the ultimate too! Thank you so very much for this video brother. Merry Christmas, be well, stay safe and God bless. Rev. D.
thank you so much for your kind words I really appreciate it. Happy Holiday 🎄
Теплое пожелание.
That was simply amazing. All through watching the restoration I was thinking “how are you going to pull this off?” Absolutely amazing
thank you so much Paul I really appreciate it :)
@@AwesomeRestorations so is that block of wood and metal reinforcement permanent now? Like a person with a metal plate and metal pins? Like when a person goes through reconstruction.
I like both the before and after somebody clearly put allot of effort into making the zombie woody as you did fixing him, both versions look amazing! :)
Thanks Lucy for watching and for your kind words I really appreciate it 👍🏻 :)
Amazing job. That Woody was dead. Good that you bring him back to alive. 😊
thanks, glad you liked it. Yes he did come back from the dead 💀
Ngl whoever zombified the Woody did quite an excellent job.
I kinda get sad seeing toys in a state of such ruin like that, but it’s nice to know people like you are around and that you’ll always restore and repair them. Good job, man. This was really cool to watch.
Thanks for watching and for your kind words I really appreciate it 👍🏻 :)
i feel like it was like that on purpose, the zombie doll is still a rlly cool customisation imo!!
@@goldieisnotmyname9354 oh for sure. They probably made a short film or something with it. And it is pretty awesome looking generally, but just thinking of the Woody doll I had a long time ago, that’s mostly what gives me that sad feeling.
@@schawangus there are still hunderds of them in stores
I commend you for having the patience and dedication in bringing him back to life. I'm a huge horror fan, but when I see well made toys getting zombified, it makes die a little inside too. If I saw this guy at a yard sale or a convention, I would think it was done for. As much as I would want to, I would never have the patience to restore him lol so I really enjoyed watching this!
I feel the same.
thank you so much for your comment :)
You are the top G in this world of restoration. All the best ✌️
Thank you so much for your kind words, i really appreciate it 😉👍
My favorite part is one of the drawers had chess pieces. An obvious nod to 'Geri's Game'.
Good replies
A heart warming homage to Toy Story!
😊😊
This is the alternative universe that woody and buzz didn't escape from Sid's house. Also, how long does it take you to design the creepy versions, that much detail is incredible. 🥰
The level of destruction of this toy is just sad. It was amazing to see you repair him.
thank you
Just when I thought nothing could top Buzz Lightyear restoration, you brought this one. At this point, if a restoration video has great sense of humor, awesome video direction, and crazy editing, then you know you're gonna enjoy it. 😄👍👍
Thanks for watching and for your kind words I really appreciate it 👍 and yes the buzz video was really something special for me as well😉
Most will never know the joy you gave to most people by that video .. definitely brought tears of joy to me and remembering the childhood , your tedious detail work is beyond amazing thank you for restoring my childhood friend .
thanks a lot for your comment
Man, Sid really tortured Woody this time, good job you saved him
yes thanks :)
That toolbox and button-activated features are amazing, just like the movie 😭
Yes it really is :)

It was in mine too, I think.
This made my day. It's Christmas and I'm stuck home alone with Covid. Love the new tool box. Buzz watching over Woody getting sandblasted. You did great work transforming him back to real Woody respect to you. You put so much love to all your restorations and it shows. The erector prop, I have an original set. The detail of the chair and washing machine was so cool.

very glad to hear that :)
It looks just like from toy story 2 and it was cool 😎
I like how some of his friends pitched in to help. Rex got the washing machine, Jessie dried his clothes, and Buzz carved him a belt buckle. Quite the team effort.

Man you are a crack, the restoration of woody and the whole process is a tribute to both the film and the work that people like you do around the world, the level of detail to recreate the scene is moving. I have seen the whole video and I thought "This guy enjoyed the movie and he really loves his work. Congratulations! Greetings from Venezuela

I think I almost cried at the end 😭 You did such a great job making him Woody again. I have a lot of memories from these movies and your references to them just made the video 100,000,000x better. Thank you for taking the time in all your videos to make the end result amazing as well as production value/time. It has been noticed 😊
thank you so much for your kind words Ashlynn :)
Where the hell are you finding these things?! Also, it's even more impressive that you had the whole tool kit set up done.
I am Sid Phillips ;-) Thanks for watching 👍😉
He doesnt find them in that state. He prepares them like so.
You absolutely kill in it with editing! Tool box was sick! Best restoration videos thank you for the show loved it!!
thank you so much for your kind words
Hola mira la verdad soy MEXICO ñ, pero tus videos son muy pero muy buenos, una pregunta de donde sacas todas las cosas restaurar saludos
I can't wait to see what you do next.

Impressive he looks good as new I'm betting Woody is thanking him for fixing him
I think I’ve watched most of your videos by now but this one has an impossible level of detail! The sculpting work on the face was so amazing! And I loved all the references you added as well! So cool

The fact that you actually recreated the scene where the doctor fixes woody in the second toy is honestly super cool ❤️
That was amazing 👏. Not only was it nostalgic, but you put your own twist on it, very modern with the repair compared to the movie, but just wow. And the tool box is sick af! Just like from the movie. Also the starting Woody was metal af!
