This is definitely the best gabby gabby doll I have ever seen. No one’s custom compares to this.
Also Gabby from the movie cars and his spin off gabby's dollhouse
These kind of videos absolutely fascinate me. I love it! She turned out so great! If you're planning on doing a lot of dolls with rooted hair like that, doll customisers do sell specific tools for it! Though a sewing needle cut at an angle in a drill chuck can work just as well. You just kinda hook the hair on and stab it in then just glue it in on the back!
definitely not soon lol but i'll keep it in mind when the pain ever fades away
@@zedabyu can you do Forky soon?
ghsa duhv shie ir
You gabby gabby looks so beautiful! I love how she has the organic vibe of the character but I also love how she also has that vintage doll look that no longer exists these days.. I Don't know what else to say except as a doll collector if I were to see this girl in a store and not know who the character was id think she was a preserved doll from the 60's or 70's and give her a home. she's my newest favorite of your recreations.
Hm, since the holes are kinda big, I think you should be able to insert a loop of fishing thread from the outside, put the desired amount of hair into the loop, and then pull it through. Should you ever attempt something similar, that is! The eyes turned out really well! Reminds of Blythe doll eye chips ^^
that's an interesting method!
She looks absolutely amazing 😍. Even the bangs! You’re a master at your craft without a doubt 👍
the struggle behind the camera killed me lol. eventually i cheated and glue the tips of the bangs onto the head to keep it flushed lol
@@zedabyu smart move! 🤣
Zedabyu! Another awesome video! As a sewer myself, I really think you’d shock yourself when it comes to sewing. You’re already insanely talented and in all honesty, hand-sewing a hem or a button isn’t very challenging at all by comparison of what you’re able to do 😅
i guess i am just lazy 🤪
but i'll be trying some sewing on my next video so that'd be fun, i hope
Good job I was scared for you about the fringe but you totally pulled it off
i was scared too lol. i was still planning to redo the fringe when i was editing but my mom saved the day when she suggested gluing the tips of the fringe to the head to make it flushed and it worked 💪
@@zedabyu so clever!
Advice from someone who does doll faceups: I think the hair would've been easier if you followed a doll rerooting tutorial 😂 you can cut the back of a sewing needle and turn it into this "Y" shaped tool and hook hair and then press it into the hole. Another hair time saver is pouring hot water on the head to set the hair in the style you want, or dunking her head momentarily in hot water.
lol i'll probably still have to glue them on the 3d print since it's not regular doll head material. and the paints will be washed away if i dunk the head in water
@@zedabyuI figured thats why you did it how you did, since its not a vinyl head
@@zedabyuwell yeah you'd still have to glue it. You're still supposed to glue it with vinyl heads too.The rerooting tool is just to help with getting the strands into the holes. Watching your process was kind of painful tbh. So many steps 😭 I felt so bad for you!
They make baby socks that look like her socks in the movie you could’ve saved some time but she looks amazing! Great job
This man created a whole book solely for the sake of accuracy. This is why I keep coming back to this channel.
Your dedication to accuracy is amazing.
This is seriously your best work yet, great job!
thank you for your support!
I think she turned out adorable, have a great day.
You got me to sit through a video with a Toy Story 4 character, that shows enough how entertaining you can be so great job man I'll wait for your next one
i appreciate it
this dude really loves toy story, and i love him for it
This is so cool
Yesss so excited
@mattel @thinkway this what you should do doing next time 😗
Unbelievable! Well done!
thank you
Omg this is unbelievable so incredible! Your did an awesome job creating Gabby Gabby
It belongs in a museum
You made it into a masterpiece. I could hire you sometime
Incredible job! Love how it turned out!
Btw if u do other doll customs, def check out hextian and ms froggy stuff for rerooting tips
definitely need more research on that topic lol i just never thought it'd be an issue so i focused more on the resin eyes
Great job! She turned out amazing!🖤💜
wow, that turned out amazing, I'm Brazilian and I live in the city where this Baby Brink doll (Lauro de Freitas - BA - BR) was manufactured, your custom was wonderful, I thought I would put those mechanisms that open and close in the doll's eyes, but even so the final result was very faithful
Incredible! 😮
She came out so good! Youre great at customizing!
Precious Gaby Gaby 😍
Omg she is so so cute and just perfect
I wish you’d do like a web meet and greet, my kid absolutely adores you and your videos. He wants to meet/talk to you so bad. Keep doing these videos! 💕🫶🏻
Gabby looks incredible!
Excellent! Makes me wonder why Thinkway didn't make a collection Gabby. I guess Duke Caboom is more important than the main antagonist?
too much effort lol. an action figure is definitely easier to mass produce imo
You did an amazing job for this! And I LOVED the way her eyes came out they look beautiful
An absolute masterpiece! 💯🤩🔥
YOU ARE REALLY THE BEST, BROOO!! LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH!!!
This was so well done! Nice work!
As always, excellent stuff. Redoing the book is a small but welcome touch!
5:15 you should whatch rerooting dolls hair videos, there's lost of them. Usually they use the head of a needle
Love your videos please don’t die
Zedabyu, You've Done it Again. 😊So Far, All of Your Toy Story Replica Customs Turned Out Amazing!!! A Chef's Kiss. 😘 You Sir, Have Inspired Me to Make my own.
good luck and have fun!
Great job
This video is so underrated :c
Stunning work, i love it so much!!!
I'm glad you like it
Amazing as always
Great work as usual !
Yeah, beautiful job, Gabby looks adorable now. It's amazing what becomes possible with 3D printing, just as long as you don't try to recreate those terrifying ventriloquist dummies that were helping her in the movie. I'm a grown man and those guys still creeped me out.
haha how can i not complete the gang????
This is so good and I can’t wait to see who might be next in would love you to get wheezy and Lenny but I don’t know if you can custom make them or have to buy them of other sellers
If you ever need help to insert hair you can try a rerooting tool or if you want a diy approach use the handle of an exact-o knife and a sewing needle. Cut the sewing needle at an angle where you insert thread and attach it to the handle using I'm guessing super glue
Great work love the videos.
My comment for the video.
resin is the only thing that zedayu can use in every video
Omg!! She is amazing. Your work is amazing. I wished she was mine
Fantastic job.
El mago lo hizo de nuevo 🙌
Que linda ficou a boneca gabby gabby.
another master piece
This looks nice
I know this was a lot of hard work, and it came out great!!
im ded
Hell yeah I’m happy that for once you didn’t release a video right after I finished making the exact same thing.
This time I was working on a Wheezy penguin instead
Love love ❤️your vidoes they're so therapeutic
I also use Vocal Remover!!
Love this 👏🏻❤👏🏻❤
Please do Bullseye next :)
You really inspire me to try and make my own toys someday, while it looks like it would take FOREVER i would be so rewarding to me! Great video bro!
take your time lol. you'll need ALOT of patience and to keep your cool when a mistake is made. i can't tell you how many things went wrong in this particular project and i had to problem solve every one of them before moving on to the next. my brain is fried 🧠
@@zedabyu I could imagine, the hair looked grueling😭
U should do a Toy Story review and make a video of all your Toy Story characters
idk lol it's so weird to 'review' my own creations lol what can i say
Cool
I have this Gabby Gabby. Wish I had the time to do this to mine. Im to busy doing Disney art, etc. Great job
Always, always, ALWAYS cut bangs longer than you think you want them. You can always go shorter but you can’t add length.
Nice fix
thank you
I love it!, I would like one like this one day, regards!
Never seen anybody half-ass everything so proficiently lmao
Oh my, those shoes were terrible, I'm so glad you changed them.
Well done with the resin, her eyes are so expressive now.
These new skills- resin, adding hair with bangs, they will continue to improve for you. I love that, even though they arent easy to learn (and procrastinating is oh so good), that you push forward and try them anyway. Nice work 👏
This is cool
😳😍😍😍😍😍 magnifique j’adore ça serait parfait pour compléter ma collection toystory 😭
I have a suggestion next you should make Gabbys friends aka the ventriloquist dummys
I hope you get a SeedToys Woody kit and review it! ❤
he has got it but he hasn't reviewed it yet
i'll use it for my next project
@@zedabyu AHHH so cool
There was an advertisement for the Megan movie right before this video!😂
the line pattern on the socks is called "ribbing"
The book in the film has the speech bubble placed behind the girls hair. You printed it over the top of her hair 😮
i forgot about it
If you need help for hair rerooting, I suggest Dollightful. She's a doll customier and show how to make a rerooting tool she has.
Video name: All Materials for Doll Customizing 8:07
you attention to detail is amazing
i dont think you realised but you were basically making micro bond hair extensions LOL
a doll rerooting tutorial would've helped;
people like to use a needle with the eye of the needle cut in half- so its like a small prong
that way you can hook the hair on the prong and push it into the root
THEN they glue the inside of the doll hair
WOW GABBY GABBY IS SUPER COOL AND AWESOME 1000000000X PLEASE CAN YOU NEXT PLEASE FROKY OR PIZZA ALIENS
I needed her
Cool man will you do a custom ham?
Very nice! You have better sewing skills than you think, btw. Cheers!
time to put it to test for the next project!
@@zedabyu Ooh! Mysterious and exciting. I'll be waiting till I'm watching.
When you got to the socks, I thought to myself “Now he’s really gotta sew-“ but that was too naive of me.
HA! Gotcha
You need to do chucky man from like bride of chucky or the original
zedabyu will you ever open your own toy making compony and sell toy story accurate toys?
It would be nice to see you modify zurg lol
Please do Chucky! 🙏
A question: what is your next toy story project?
woody again. will try to sew denim jeans for him
My friend, use a rerooting tool for the hair next time. It will be so much less torturous.
if you had made the eyes open and close i would have had a heart attack lol. still amazing job!
i'd have the heart attack trying to make that lol
not that hard tbh@@zedabyu
What is the sanding brush called? I'm thinking of getting one
Do Bullseye
great job on the gabby gabby, where did you get the voice box and the shoes?
voice box is from amazon and shoes from taobao
seeing him do the hair like this instead of using a large needle was painfull
I’d love to see you make a Benson ventriloquist dummy. Those are tough to make. Especially with moving eyes
that'd be a challenge. more research to do for sure.
I’d recommend replacing the speaker in the voicebox, those greeting card speakers have terrible sound quality, I used one for a buzz and you can barely hear it.
Use a soldering iron to fuse the wires to a better speaker and bam, instant loud noise
do you think making a slow retracting pull string is possible with the 3d printer? if you take a original talking toy, scan the record, the box and other pieces then scale it down you could make a silent slow retracting pull string box, instead of the loud vibrating box
Poor Zedabyu didn't get rehairing tools. Would've made his life so much easier!
didn't know it existed lol. does it even work for a hard 3d printed head? i just assumed the tools would only work on soft vinyl heads
@@zedabyu Honestly I'm only aware of their existence, but I'm sure they come in various sizes and types. As long as the hole is already punctured, I'm sure it'd still work. Better to ask an expert, though. Sorry I wasn't actually any help. ^.^;
I’m still waiting for Toy Story that time forgot
no plans at the moment
@@zedabyu oh my bad
