I thought your card very pretty. I wanted to make a template for myself, so I grabbed a double-sided piece of paper that was all about tools such as hammers, etc. Instead of the lacy edge I used pinking shears and colored the paper gray to look like a saw blade. My inside was made of a book page with building drawings on it. I made a pocket envelope out of that as well with construction designs. Added some numbered washi tape to strengthen the two smaller ends of the envelope as as decoration. It turned out great. I'm going to use it for a builder I know. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh Elsa, I just made a birthday card for my sister's up coming birthday next week. It took me all day to make something you made in minutes. This was my first card , so I am still looking at it as I feel there's a something, something needed somehow and I'll get it eventually, just that I better get it by next week. LOL I love the way it came out as I followed your instructions and the paper I use was very similar to the one you showed... I love those colors anyway. I might just TAKE it back after I allow her to see it.... it's THAT pretty. I tucked some tags I had made and did some butterfly stamping , added ribbon and some glitter stone and I am very pleased with it. Thank you for the easy steps and your soft voice instead of some loud annoying music in the background. I enjoyed your vid.

What kind of hole puncher and what size ribbon do I need for this?

HI Beth! Thanks for such kind words! Any hole punch, I use the crop-a-dile, just because it's what I have available and it will punch through thick layers of paper with ease. The ribbon will depend on the size of the hole you chose to make. Usually, I use .1/4 of inch-sized ribbons and the length is up to how big you want your bow. Wish me luck , I don't have any punches or anything yet so I'm glad you're just using scissors tweezers I do have a ruler and some glue, when you folded in half wouldn't you have two pockets one on each side ? hi!!! so glad to meet you...and yes, there will be two pockets, but only one side will have the envelope flap. I try to make things that are easy and do not require too many tools. Whats the name of that Martha Stewart punch and what size did you start out with for the little card you put inside?
Hello. Oh my goodness it's bee years since I made this. I think you start with a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and punch around the paper. When you buy the martha stewart punches it comes with instructions on what size papers to use to make a perfect square. Hope you have fun creating...
