I like your simplicity. Not confused and a bunch of gibberish. I just wanted to say thank you for being on point with direction and instruction! I subbed! 🦋
Lovely idea. I often drop of cards personally to family & friends. Would be ideal to make a super gorgeous envelope. Pink & green is my favourite colour combo. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry you weren't inspired by this video. It's just one way to take a piece of 12x12 patterned paper and turn it into an envelope. You can always search youtube or google for 'making envelopes from scrapbook paper'. Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
really love these envelopes, and the fact that you do not need a score board or any other specialist tool, thanks so much for sharing this super idea hugs angela
Great idea ! I watched your video, re-played it and made one right along with your video. It came out great and I will be making more. Thank you for sharing this video. I have it saved on my favorites. Happy scrapping, Evelyn
I've been looking for ages trying to find a tutorial on this type of envelope, I'm so excited! Thank you so much indeed, it's wonderfully simple, just what I need! Lol. Brilliant! X
love it..I've been doing something similar but haven't put it on video yet..I remember back in school days as kids some of my friends and I used to practice all kinds of neat folds like this to send our lil " custom" notes to one another (i have a lil junk mini I write or glue ideas for folds in)..I'll have to try your way of decoration on some and this specific way..thanks for the inspiration!...tfs!
Wow, love this idea! The back pockets are a super cool idea too! So very pretty with the lace and flower details. Beautiful!!! Thank you for showing us how you made them, you are so special :) Hugs my friend Brigitte :)
Absolutely love this! I have so many 12 x 12 kits and now I have some new ideas as they have been sitting because I just didn't know where to start or cut because both sides are so pretty. Now I know ! Thank you for sharing a great idea . 👍😀
Hi Christina....I love this idea! Right after watching I was so excited I had to make one! I grabbed a6x6 just to get the fold down and low and behold....it looks adorable! It would be so cute in one of the pockets of the big envelope as an extra layer. I am so inspired by your videos! tfs hugs...Mandy
Happy Valentine's Day to you too! My tags measure approx. 31/2 x 8 (they fit nice and snug) A few are a bit smaller 3x6 (which leaves room for embellies on the tag if you want) ~Christina xo
Thank you Christina for this video! I have a few pen pals and my letters would be perfect for this envelope. I've been trying to figure out how do decorate those regular white envelopes, but I like this idea for its unique : )
I love these I am going to make some to give to my son's teachers with Thank you notes at Thanks Giving time and a Poem about teachers. Thank you! Barbara

I'm new to you but I was looking for some different videos . I landed on yours and the card and envelopes are stunning . I know it's 2011 but the videos are there and I'm happy , Thank you Rose-Marie in Canada
Hello Rose-Marie in Canada!! Great to hear from you! So happy that you found the video... thank you for your kind words! xo ~Christina from Canada too! :)
I found your video from watching NurseTara04's video on the envelope cards that she'd made from your tutorial. Your envelope's are gorgeous and so easy to do! These will make great gifts. TFS!
You decorated those are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing how you made the envelope. Super cool! When I fold card stock it seems to crack. Is there any trick to keep it from doing that?
Hi there! Sometimes it depends on the brand and the quality of the paper. Remember to score gently. When you hold a piece of cardstock in your hands, slightly bend or bow it. Do you feel the tension? Now turn the paper 1/4 turn and do that again. You'll feel a tension in the paper. One direction, the tension will be stronger than the other. The bend or bow with the less tension is the way you should hold it and lay it down on your surface, or score board. That is called "folding with the grain" of the paper. If you score it the opposite direction, or the way you felt more resistance, it may crack. And if it still cracks use clear tape. I buy this wonderful crystal clear tape at the post office. xoxoxo
Love these!!! I will definitely have to try!!! I'm going to make mini ones from 6x6 paper to add to the mini album I'm working on!!!! Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs ~ Luv Lee :-)
Hi Christna, I just bumped into your video and I love it! I have a question, once you complete an envelope, how do you mail it? They are so dainty. Thank you for such beautiful inspiration.
