I just love this design, and I have made several of them. The wonderful power of your teaching a beginner, Elsa! I love how you pick out your design papers, how they work together, what needs to be inked, to be torn, or embellished. Don't forget that many of us need help there, too. You are a master of design, from the beginning til the end.
Hello Robin. What a pleasure to read your comment!!! I tend to not decorate on screen because I feel everyone already knows how to...and it's the hardest part for me. But your input was so kind and made me smile. It's because of crafters like you that I have this channel! Thank you so very much for watching, for your comment and for your support! Much Love, Elsa

Cute mini Elsa. I am curious about the rubber cement. Having used it before for art projects I know you can rub off if it gets somewhere you don't want it, what I don't remember is if it leaves shiny marks on darker paper where it was rubbed off from. That is one of the reasons I stopped using Mod Podge to adhere paper to chipboard. TFS gina
***** Hi ...first thanks! for watching my video...and the glue does NOT leave a shinny mark. at least it didn't leave any on my black mini here, it just rubs off, I love it. hope you enjoy your crafty time... once again...THANKS! for watching.. hugs Elsa

What a great little album! I'm intrigued by that rubber cement. I'm curious: how difficult is it to clean the rubber cement off of your brush? And what do you use to clean your brush? Thanks for sharing!
Hello! I was going through my account and couldn't find if I had ever answered you. I apologize if I didn't! I just missed it. I used rubber cement for a long time, everything I made was glued with it. It is amazing and I love it... don't use as much now as I did then, mainly cause I do not craft as much as I used to and if you don't use it, it will dry up in the bottle. But it is really easy to use, and if you get it on any other part of your project, just let it dry and you can rub it off. I used DAWN dish soap to wash my brush when I washed it, and it worked for me. To be honest, because I was crafting ALL the time, half the time I didn't even bother washing my brush. I used a hard bristle brush and when I was not using it, I would put just stand it in a jar till I needed it next. The cement would dry around the brush but a wet wipe would take care of it and it was ready to be used again. I hope this helps... try the small jar, they sell it at Walmart and it comes with a built-in brush attached to the lid. It's the bigger jars of cement that you will need to provide a brush for. Good luck!! big hugs, Elsa
+Cyndi Malzahn Hi Cyndi!! oh i wanna see your baby album when you complete it! so glad you enjoyed the tutorial... take care and have fun creating hugs Elsa

Hi Elsa...I just wanted to say that I have watched quite of few of your crafting vids & think they are brilliant...I did my own take on your 12x12 pocket/pages for mini album...still to attach the pages to my book cover & make hidden hinges...but getting there...I have credited you so Thank You again...p.s. The salt n peppa vid from your daughters had me in stitches...Take care...Maggie aka Minnie Minx XXX
Minnie Minx hi again!! omg thanks for the shout out on your take of the mini album. I appreciate it...i love your support and so glad we were able to make you laugh...that sald and peppa things had both my girls and I laughing sooo much...so glad you enjoyed it!!! hug your friend... Elsa
Cheers Elsa...Enjoying watching your video's...I like your take on the envelope...I normally make the other type of envelopes just using the crafter's companion but like yours...Been busy making tags n boxes for my eldest daughter's 18th birthday coming up near the end of the month...also making hidden hinge systems for my wee albums...I have bought some Christmas papers n a paper trimmer/scorer as found a lot of my cuts are uneven...When I have time...I am going to use them to try out your manila folder mini album...Cheers again! Love to you & your family! XXX
Minnie Minx HI!!! You know I bout the envelope maker also but this is easier for me lol I appreciate your support sooooooooooooooo much!!! 18 years old is such a great age...almost done with high school but still a teenager, all her life in front of her! tell her I WISH her NOTHING but the best!!! Oh I can't live without my paper trimmer, your gonna love it!! Thanks for watching...take care...HUGS AND LOVE your friend in Florida...Elsa
Love how quick and easy this mini is. Will have to give it a try. I do have a question about the rubber cement. Does it cause any warping of your project when used? TFS Monica
Monica L. Hi Monica...this glue is awesome and I Have had no warping...when you apply it, just brush it out really thin...and make sure its on both sides for a permanent bond. I love that it will rub right off. Thanks for watching! hugs Elsa
Hi Lisa! Thanks! I do not use it as much anymore only because I do not craft as much as I used to. It does dry up in the bottle if you don't use it up, no matter how tightly the cap is on the jar. But I do love it, it's easy to clean up and if you get it on any other part of your project, it will rub right off. It also gives you loads of lead way to move your paper just in case you didn't align it correct the 1st time. If you are gonna try it, buy the little jar, Walmart carries it, just to see if you like it. The little jar also comes with a built-in brush wish is great, the bigger jars didn't, not sure if they do now. Thanks for watching...big hugs Elsa
love your tutorial , but i was holding my breath as you were sticking the front cover down as you said the tape is not forgiving lol......you did a great tutorial and i agree using black sharpie is great ....Pauline x
Hello!!! thank you so much for watching, much appreciated. I love using my black sharpie, it's a miracle tool lol So glad you enjoyed my video... Take care!! Hugs Elsa
Love the book and love your vids, might have been better to show your book the right way round to viewers at 15.30 mins, great demo though, definitely going to make one of these x
Girl! I am just noticing that! sometimes during editing, the video portions get so messed up that I will miss to turn them around! That is what happened with this video, I hate it...but too late now. :( I try to catch all these errors but... I miss some every now and then. Thanks for watching and have fun creating. Hugs Elsa
Hi Elsa, Love this project. It's cute, quick and easy. Can't wait to make one to put my daughter's Halloween pics. I have questions about the rubber cement. Do u have to let it dry a bit before adhering. Does it ever dries completely where you can't pull the pieces apart? I'm always in search of a great glue. Thanks for sharing. Paulette. ❤
Hi Paulette...thanks for watching! and the cement glue works great before it dries. It can be re-positional if applied to only one side, but if you put it on both papers it becomes permanent. That is what the directions say...i have used it on only one side of the paper and it is always permanent...i do not let it dry though, it works better for me if wet. Hope you like it, as much as I do, when you try it. Walmart has the smaller jars, if you want to try it out first...its not for everyone cause you have to use a brush... good luck. hugs Elsa
SuperHappyscrapper hello! so glad you enjoyed this tutorial...appreciate you watching and take the time to comment...take care and enjoy your crafty time... hugs Elsa
When I follow the first score for the front and back of the album, and do the folding, my front cover is about 1" wider than the back cover. Am I doing something wrong? Or should it be like this? I'm thinking the front and back should be the same size.
Hello Tina, your doing it right...one side will be wider than the other, that is to give one side a really good picture mat size. When you add the back and front covers the book will even out. Let me know how it works out... thanks for watching! hugs Elsa
claudie perazio let me try this... HI! Merci de votre attention. Heureux vous avez aimé le didacticiel. Le papier est de K & Company, je l'ai depuis un certain temps maintenant, ce n'est pas sûr que ce que le nom est. calins Elsa
can you tell me the measurement of the folder you used? before you do anything to it. i have some folders and it just is not the same. or can you tell me where and what brand you used in particular thanks i just can't wait to make these for halloween pictures.
HI...manila folders come in 2 sizes the letter size and the Legal pad size...I used the letter size folder which is about 11x9, if all you have are the Legal size folder cut 3 inches from the side and it will give you the folder size I used. Hope this helps. I bought mine at Walmart, they came in a bundle of 10. take care and have fun... hugs Elsas
lol! U R my new BFF! u understand me, it drives me crazy..my bone folder was lost for 2 weeks and where did I find it???? right in front of my eyes!! ugh... I know fairies have something to do with it...! lol Thanks for watching!!! big hugs

Love your mini album and the directions to make it.
Hello Lois! thank you so much... I hope you were able to create this. take care..hugs Elsa
Beautiful and easy!
Love how quick and easy this mini is. Will have to give it a try. I do have a question about the rubber cement. Does it cause any warping of your project when used? TFS
Monica
Monica L. Hi Monica...this glue is awesome and I Have had no warping...when you apply it, just brush it out really thin...and make sure its on both sides for a permanent bond. I love that it will rub right off. Thanks for watching! hugs
Elsa
Great tutorial! Why do you prefer using rubber cement? I’ve never used it and am curious
Hi Lisa!
I love it, what a lovely idea for a quick gift.

Girl! I am just noticing that! sometimes during editing, the video portions get so messed up that I will miss to turn them around! That is what happened with this video, I hate it...but too late now. :( I try to catch all these errors but... I miss some every now and then. Thanks for watching and have fun creating. Hugs Elsa

Hi Elsa,
Love this project.
Walmart has the smaller jars, if you want to try it out first...its not for everyone cause you have to use a brush... good luck.

Let me know how it works out... thanks for watching! hugs Elsa
so cool thanks for sharing

can you tell me the measurement of the folder you used? before you do anything to it. i have some folders and it just is not the same. or can you tell me where and what brand you used in particular thanks i just can't wait to make these for halloween pictures.
