It's berry and all things fruit season which means it's cobbler season. Check out my easy favorite summer go to recipe for the 4th, church potlucks, and or family get-togethers.
    Recipe:
    Ingredients:
1.5 cups of fresh peaches (peeled and sliced)
    1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
    1 cup of sugar
    1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. of vanilla
    THE CRUST:
    1/2 cup of Butter
3/4 cup of Kamut (freshly milled)
    2 tsp. of Baking Powder
    Pinch of Salt
    3/4 cup of Milk
    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put blueberries, peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl and stir until well mixed or coated.
In oven, melt butter in a deep-dish pan (7 X12).
In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients together except fruit mixture.
Pour batter over melted butter. Make sure the batter is evenly distributed, but do not stir.
Carefully place fruit mixture on top of the buttered batter. Option: sprinkle (brown) sugar on top evenly over fruit mixture (DO NOT STIR).
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

That looks delicious. I like the tip about the brown sugar!
