It would work because there is bacteria in the yogurt that would act like a yeast and some breads to add in eggs so not surprised it worked. You can even poach it in water before baking like you would a regular bagel. The tanginess is also reminiscent of the sour dough aspect of some bagels when proofed a day before

You could even add a little honey or maple syrup instead of the sugar. I use oats pulverized in blender to sneak into recipes, which is better than flour, perhaps make a quarter cup part of your one cup flour

How did you calculate your calories? I got 160, not 120
    - 5 oz of All Purpose Flour (about one cup)
    (455 calories)
    - 1 cup of non fat thick greek yogurt like Fage
    (80-100) (90 average)
    - 1 egg
    (75)
    - 1 tsp sea salt
    (0)
    - 2 tsp baking powder
    (4)
    - 1 tsp brown sugar(17)
Comes out to 641 calories total, or 160 calories per bagel not 120.
