Not only nice to see a real mechanic who knows what he's doing, but most importantly and arguably the best video angles I've ever seen on a "how-to" video.
Can you please do a video of replacing the axle seal since it was recommended in this video it would be nice to know how that would be accomplished most efficiently your videos are great camera angles are amazing I love how professional everything is
OMG, Dude! THIS is absolutely the BEST instructional vid I've EVER seen! Aza driveway mech, who only touches'a wrench, becuz he can't afford to pay a REAL mechanic, I've learned to "figure things out", but alotta vids miss details, that are VITAL for any1 who's never done the job b4! Your narration was XCELLENT, even down to XPLAININ how the electrical connector locking mechanism worked. This is frequently a source of frustration, as I don't have my head around the design of the mechanism, and I don't wanna break sum'n by yankin onit lika caveman. Granted, u have all tha right tools, and it looks as tho sum'a tha bolts you're removin were pretty "shiny", and I'm guessin MINE won't come off quite so ez..., u have me thinkin "I got this!". Currently try'na diagnose driveline vibration, but I realize an axle replacement is very likely in my future, especially since I've been draggin-ass on replacin my struts. (Don't ask me how long!) U don't, by chance, hava strut replacement vid? ;)
This video, although quality, forgets that there is a C clip between the intermediate drive shaft and the CV axel on the passenger side. It needs to show or tell how to remove that... I had to take the whole shaft and axel out by removing the shocks due to this problem, and now I have to order a new shaft most likely, or at least C clips, and be down a jeep for a lot longer than expected. Do better TRQ, I saw the edit where that shaft comes out and then it magically just skips to where the CV pulls from the splines. It's not that simple.
Excellent video. I cut my cv axel boot when replacing the air strut and now all the grease is leaking out. Unfortunately this is my next project but thank you for this video!
Seems like it is the same process for my 05 grand Cherokee 4.7 But still trying to find the clunking clicking sound cause I just replaced most of the front end
Where is the axle retaining clip? one came out, and one was not included in the re-install. I my axle came apart because I did not put in new one when I was out doing mild rock crawling. I since purchased a new set of clips, but cannot get them to seat..
My axle nut is rusted/disintegrated past the point of ever getting it off. Any reason why I cant remove the hub and cv as one unit and replace them both?
I have the same issue. Also n the video the axle nut size is 34mm, mine isn't that size. Also, how do I keep the whole thing from turning like the wheel normally does? These guys r using impact wrenches and it doesn't move. Mine is with a normal ratchet. Need help!! Can someone direct me to where I can get help or actually speak/message someone?
I gave you a thumbs down because you have proper equipment for quick change. Now do it with out all those fancy gadgets. Do it old school. Because I doing it without air tools but only electric impact wrench and elbow grease and what tools I have. Also you did it on an 08-12 jeep liberty, while I have an 04 for which this video was an error on my part. Also there are lots of street DIYs that dont have shops at home neither.

It's nice to see a real mechanic that really knows what he's doing. Thank you!
All repair videos should be like this.
You're a life saver. This is one of the few vids that show the whole process while looking professional the whole time.
Can you please do a video of replacing the axle seal since it was recommended in this video it would be nice to know how that would be accomplished most efficiently your videos are great camera angles are amazing I love how professional everything is

Hey cool video, do you think you can get away with just removing the upper ball joint nut and swing the knuckle out of the way?
Excellent video. I cut my cv axel boot when replacing the air strut and now all the grease is leaking out. Unfortunately this is my next project but thank you for this video!
Great Video! Only took me a hour of pounding out the bottom ball joint to get it off 🥴 but gotter!! Everything on this jeep is rusted bad!
Gonna be doing axle and wheel bearing hub assembly, you made that axle swap look fast and easy hahaha
Are your sway bar links on backwards? Looks so if thats a 2002 to 2007...
Seems like it is the same process for my 05 grand Cherokee 4.7

What kind of time does it take in reality?

Hi thanks for the video ! Is the same for the patriot 2010 ? Thanks
Is this similar to the 07 model? I need to replace mine soon but can't find a video for the 07 model
Does anyone make a subframe drop kit for the Liberty KK to use with a lift kit and help correct side effects from lifting an IFS suspension.
Is it the same procedure for a 2012 Grand Cherokee?
Fantastic video! Thanks so much.
Can’t find the differential seal anywhere besides rear ones even on rock auto... anyone gotta another name for them and where I could order them?
Excellent video!
Will this method work witha 2003 liberty?
Same torque at 10:00 and 8:17 ?
Question my passenger side keeps fall3 out while driving why

No shit brand nee axle without the locking ring. No wonder you didnt have a problem inserting it in with no issues. Bonkers
Good info....FYI you DONT unattach something, you DETTACH it...lol
