I am physically incapable of even KISSING someone without getting emotionally attached. Even if it's just on a small scale, it's still there. You can't just overwrite millions of years of evolution because you have a cell phone in your hand and decided you are an "empowered feminist." Anyone who is capable of having se+ with someone...and seeing it as a "meaningless" exchange....has some serious psychological problems. Some deep seeded trauma they havent overcome. Something horrible and sad happened to that person, and now they are just an empty husk. I genuinely feel sorry for them.

Yes, emotion must exit or there will never be a connect. People that don’t have emotion are mentally missing something. Someone took something from them that can never be replaced.

You're awfully judgemental. Are you a trained mental health professional? Even if you were, you have no cause to sit in judgement of anyone without a proper diagnosis, and this kind of remoteness is not part of that.
      Stop it. Do better.

Even social interaction is sacred, I'm not religious but I value Life and I try to treat every aspect as worthy of my respect and consideration. There are times I get tired or depressed, and I find myself dissociating, but the ideal is to treat every moment and every creature as sacred. I'm often reminded of a scene in the movie Wolf where a character says, "Life is mystical, we're just used to it." I don't want to be used to it, I want to be alive.

Most single women like being asked out by a coworker they are attracted to.
But being asked out by a coworker that is not attractive should be treated as a crime.

Meaningful until it’s no longer meaningful. Maybe that’s when you learn who the individual is is not who you thought they were. Once I got married and we bought a house, everything changed. He was always a hard worker and player, he never wanted to take pride in the house. Among other behaviors started which I think were intentional. I had to go. On my 25th birthday I said the day before, tomorrow I’m leaving. Not staying one day longer. It was the happiest birthday in my life. A ton brick was removed. No longer was I going to be exhausted doing everything. Away I drove.

They have been trying to convert the US to the metric system since the 1970’s! We refused. It makes sense to use the metric system for science, health, but for the rest of our society, no! Us Americans prefer to not spend our money on the conversion when we have old mechanisms and lots of other heritage systems that depend on what is considered “Standard” or “Imperial”.
