Insane power! I've pretty much got the same setup in mine just no E-85 and a different cam grind. Making 412 wheel in mine, 100hp difference! Great video.

I have the exact same set up with the exception of a 6.1 manifold instead of the 6.4 I have never been beaten by another rt let alone a base scat..
The 6.1 manifold works on the 2015+ 5.7's?

Now that’s what I want. That’s what my ram TRX Ignition edition will sound like with the hell cat engine.
Have my 5.7 at ~800whp not sure what else to do to it to get close to that 1000 mark without risking head gaskets and sending pistons into the stratosphere.

All in all the car is faster than a stock hellcat on a tire. And 20 grand cheaper than a hellcat 🤷♂️ i guess it’s preference
@@Official-mopardaily Well that is what the car scene is all about. I respect people who put the money into cars. I sure have done it in the past. Now that I'll be 60 this year, I've learned just buy someone else's car that they are tired of that has been modded. Can pick them up on Facebook marketplace all day for pennies on the dollar of what you would spend on modifications yourself. Might not be exactly what you want, but most people don't have what they want in the car scene. That's why they are selling cheap !
Only thing really cost is the cam that’s about $3k n up everything else doesn’t cost tht much

Im debating on a 410 stroker with this cam and long tubes. Or a procharger with a cam designed for boost and long tubes, ported heads and stuff
With this cam set up i still run nitrous. Even though it may not be a traditional “boost” cam

Seen all kinds of cams installed in these 5.7s and all run 400 to 450 max on dyno without boost ..really like to see more info on this 1 of a kind
@@darrenkidd271 yeah, that car is definitely not making over 500 wheel. The Dyno pull sounds like it was in the wrong gear and the Dyno operator definitely needs some Dyno educate training. Plus E85 in an NA hemi is only good for a max of about 15 to 20 ponies.

For a 5.7 to pass a moded scat pack which was the goal at this time. It was about 8k in parts

If you own the car you can do an out of state registration. South Dakota doesn’t have any emissions laws and allows non residents to register vehicles. Can’t tow or impound your vehicle if it’s not illegal in its “home” state. Tricky way around it but like I said only kicker is you can’t do it with a loan have to own outright. But it’s 100 % legal

@@zachacaBased on the original video and what was said, I believe the heads are stock eagles. And yes 500 wheel isnt easy to do, but with the right mods and the correct cam ground on the proper LSA, it is definitely possible.

Most definitely! If you don’t end up doing the labor yourself, be prepared to spend alot more than you would like on labor. My biggest word of advice is spend the money on quality now instead of cheating out and sacrificing later

Probably 10k tbh with exhaust and intake, cam is around 6k with tourque converter
You can do alot better than me with buying parts. I bought alot of things full price but i still paid under 10k for sure

A total of about 200+ with everything still N/A. I did do nitrous eventually and it ended up at 740 to the wheel

@@problactive285 yeah but where in the rpm range? How far did they have to spin it to see max output? What torque did it make? Where did peak come in ....if I'm going to buy this product I need to know what kind of power I'm going to make and where in the rpm range . Otherwise I'll just be like all the other piss brained know nothing's that see a number and think that's the " hottest shit " for my car. I like to know the specs so I can figure out what converter I'll need, final gears because I am an ACTUAL car guy and the smallest of details allow me to make giant improvements.

The BFD is a custom grind cam. Compared to a scat stage 2 or 3 it will walk away with more.

On stock internals with a piston ring gap and ported heads you can make 1100whp ofc with forced induction

The tighter LSA should be a performer! I'd like to see a 108LSA on this cam, but it's close. It's the right LSA folks! That's what these engines want. Not 112,114,115 etc. Maybe some one will wake up one of these days and realize this. All wide LSA does is neuter the power. They use wide LSA on Hellcats like mine to make less low end and move power up the curve. Then the same builder will do a stroker kit that makes more tq???? Does anyone see a problem here? Kill power with cam add power with stroker? Why not give the engine the cam it wants in the first place. Makes NO sense!
Yessir you damn right. 108 is perfect for a 5.7 with stock heads, 110 is perfect if you have ported heads with bigger valves.
These cam companies make cams with loose LSA’s to compensate for to much duration…. sadly most people only look at lift and duration when selecting a cam so they sell better.
