I feel the more satisfying part in these videos is seeing a performance shop where the vehicles are getting in and getting out. Some of those shops these days almost look like junk yards with so many project vehicles and incomplete work. Got to appreciate the skills.

I agree I don’t get why it takes so long for some of these shops to finish a 2 hour job, I’ve seen some take 5 months I mean jeez.
@@pmp2559 for the life of me I don’t get it either. They have the money and the cars. But a lot full of cars like a junk yard. I love the progress and makes me fear those who show they get work but never complete anything.
The Pitch black charger sounds alotttttt throatier then the b5 blue charger. Both sound gorgeous though

What’s the biggest cam you could do without doing a higher stall converter?
I'm not an expert; just a guy who's been researching cams a lot so, I can buy the right one for my own 2013 Charger R/T, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. For a 5.7L Hemi, I personally wouldn't run any cam lumpier than the Comp HRT Stage 2 without a higher stall converter. The Comp HRT Stage 2 is slightly more aggressive than the Texas Speed & Performance Stage 2 N/A cam, btw. Those cams don't sacrifice much low-end grunt, so your street driveability shouln't feel too different from stock and your launches should be comparable to stock. That said, a higher stall converter will allow you to take advantage of all that added midrange power for harder launches. Anything beyond a Stage 2 cam will start to sacrifice torque and power below 2500rpm, which will definitely have a negative impact on street driveability and your launches. Since the stock converter supposedly stalls somewhere between 1800-2000rpm, you'd be trying to launch the car with even less power and torque than the stock cam. Even the stock camshaft can benefit from a slightly higher stall speed, so keep in mind that it will always be a good mod to consider.
I just had a Texas Speed stage 3 cam installed, along with hellcat lifters, springs & oil pump & long tube headers. Went with a Circle D 3400 stall. 2010 Challenger R/T. I'm only on this build about 3 weeks now. I'm more than happy.
I’m curious which one makes more power.
Did the Texas Speed Stage 2 cam in the 5.7 need a higher stall converter for daily driving? O have searched and get different results. Most say No, but several had said it drives but at stop and slow take off it surges and jerks forward.
Texas Speed recommends higher stall torque converters for all of their cam setups. I have a TSP Stage 3 in my 5.7 along with a CircleD 3200-3400 stall.

Well you’re missing the baseline. Don’t just look at the final numbers, that doesn’t matter. You need the baseline run and then the optimal run. Final reading doesn’t matter, it’s the delta that matters.
What’s the lobe separation profile on that cam love the note it has
