cody dalgleish well its not fast but for it being 2010 rt its pretty quick honestly you will probably have a litte higher top end with the 270 my car lacks power around 110
Thanks for your reply, I like this cam. Seems very streetable and the fact you kicked a GT'S butt at 25-30 is impressive. I'm also looking at the new HRT cams comp is offering. Think I may add the 392 intake manifold like you said with LT's and tune it to keep low end with maybe a stage 2 hrt or stage 3. I found out good vvt tuning can keep low end if done right.
Just got my 2014 R/T on the real I'm just happy I got a new air filter k&N and it didn't even have a cabin filter didn't know that until a couple of days ago got the ride 2 months ago but yeah just happy I got that nice air filter for now until I get cold air intake and that K&N sticker it came with looks nice on my small side window can't wait to get more K&N products probably only use that besides Mopar already got a ride with a HEMI no need to stunt yet with more mods doing it anyway nice bro and I want to get that same front grill got that black top Edition
You get the new wheels/tires? I'm curious to know if the lowering springs are okay to get since I just got my wheels first. I'm on 265s up front and 305s in the rear and looking to see what suspension i can get to tighten up the wheel gap.
most people so far are going with Eibach Sportline or H&R Sport lowering springs. These seem to be 2 of the most chosen and both support 305s in the rear. R/T life has 315s in the rear on Eibach Sportline lowering springs on his charger
Not to be rude at all just genuinely curious. If you cammed your charger why didnt you upgrade valve springs? Bet it would been close to the 400 mark if not past it with it being able to rev higher

Save money on a cam none actually last long as in years, Get a turbo thats all you need in an RT on low boost your over 410 hp to the wheels way more than any cam will ever give you or any mod for that matter. Superchargers break motors thats a fact. Even hellcats break easy AF

ivory rounds I have a custom grind Jay Greene cam, and I did change out my springs, lifters, & pushrods. And my suspension is all stock I just changed out my springs for the eibach sportline lowering springs 💯
Lol the “389” you saw was wheel horsepower not crank...that means he could be making anywhere between 430-440hp....to put that into perspective your charger with the mid muffler and cai probably makes 330-340whp

Black Phantom R/T I’m trying to go with all SRT parts on my 12 R/T, currently swapping out for 6.4 cam, SRT manifolds and cats, and then tuning, doing it on a strict budget and in Cali we can’t do longtubes, just trying to see how quick I can go with SRT parts and converter and gears as well
Slow G I’ve heards good and bad thing of swapping to 6.4 parts, I’ve heard that putting 6.4 manifolds get you really good gains, but I’ve heard that you shouldnt really use the 6.4 cam because it wont do good in the long run like a custom grind cam, I was thinking of doing the same thing until I asked jay greene about it so i decided to just save for a good cam!
Black Phantom R/T I’ve heard a lot of different opinions about it, I also spoke to jay about it as well, even the mds cam vs non mds cam will get you 100 different answers but I haven’t seen too many people do much testing or prove it with dyno runs, truth is I wiped 2 lobes on my stock cam, so I figured I would pay $84 for the 6.4 mds cam, new set of 5.7 springs (seat pressure tested by the machine shop down the street, nearly identical to 6.1 springs) and of course new lifters, all pushrods still in good shape (never seen one fail on a hemi) and a new diablo i3 I found on OfferUp for $200, so far I’m in 500 bux, got the manifolds and cats for $300. The machine shop will mill the heads a little for a small compression bump and I still need gaskets but hopefully I can get I all done for under 1k before tuning, I have to be thrifty, I don’t have a lot to spend on this car

Blacktop Hemi cam came out to 2000 dollars from Jay Greene but he does have different cams and pricing depending if you get the full package or just the cam and for me installation was 1500 so total it came out to 3500-4000 cause I also head to buy all my gaskets and bolts from dodge and the new oil and antifreeze
All that work for just a few hp gains off a cam? They didnt tune it right because stock hp in a hemi is like 383 or some shit so all they did was make it sound nice. Go get your money back bro. And you had way less torque then a stock cam.
Zac Carter i dont know if you know much about cars but stock hp on the 5.7 is 375 and thats to the crank not the wheels, that hp and torque is to the wheels
I know a lot about cars, being ive built racecars my whole life. I know street car hp and torque is less than that of a race ar but still. Depending on lift and lobe separation i would want more then that. Even the stage 4 boost cam i ordered for my hemi from Texas speed should give me almost 410 before boost. No hate man. Street cars are different ill give you that, but yeah cars are my life. All the money amd work that went in and thats all it did? Would have wanted more for ober 1300 bucks.
