I just had a cam upgrade on my Challenger Scat Pack and boy O boy that made all the difference along with the other upgrades, shes putting up Hellcat numbers!
Stage 2 with Hellcat lifters on mine No headers but Magnaflow catback. Catch can and more MDS. I had to do this from destroyed cam and lifters. Runs great for a 2012. HHP hooked me up and a local shop did the work. 18,00 fpr parts 16,00 labor 600 for tuner. Reprogrammed trans as well. Great car with almost 3 years on setup. Noticable power increase.
That's fantastic. Such clean work. You guys make it look so easy. Solid results and awesome sound. Stock mufflers still? If so, wow, they sound great w/the headers and high flow cats.
You are telling me a NSR cam helped pick up over 50? was the final tuning done on 93? There are some specs missing here that do not tell the whole story.
@@luisontiveros6377there’s still a bit more to squeeze out, stroked, forged drop in kit with piston reliefs etc. depending on cam 550 to over 600 rwhp has been seen. I wouldn’t recommend for a daily tho
Im getting this done next week, except with just a stage 3 HRT cam, lts, sparks plugs, thermostat 180 and full dyno tune for $6600 lol. Still expensive, but F spending 10k, also CAI dont do jack shit for these cars.
They didn't leave much on the table with the 392 its mostly torque, you can break the tires loose just lookin at it, if the cars where lighter it'd make sense to re-map that tune for more hp.
@@carlife_710 you AZN? I thought farm truck was a Chevy 😜 if it’s that ‘18 5.0 you wouldn’t stand a chance. I got $1000 that says you can’t gap my scat buses by 130mph. I’ve got $1000 that says I win a 60-160mph pull.

@@carlife_710 must be you did the work after your pull against the charger as it looked to me like he not only had your pocket but was starting to reel you in. What’s your trap speed?
My 392 with stock heads stock rods and pistons made 530 wheel hp with my setup. I've been telling these people for way too long. Don't go with this bullshit these guys are peddling.
The problem with the Scatpack is that it's pretty well optimized from the factory so the gains are going to be a lot harder to get naturally aspirated. Look at it this way.....the cost to get a 5.7 to run like a Scatty is the same. To get a Scatty to run like a Hellcat is the same, and so on and so on.

Getting this set up i my 22 Widebody Shaker M6. Going to be everything I ever wanted in a Muscle car.
Thank you. I need this set up in my life.
Great video well done. I enjoyed that.
Love these videos! Longer the better.
So much work for 50hp.
And they have the audacity to talk about Coyotes lol
Thats half a hundred
It's just a cam
It will still lose to a stock coyote
cam intake exhaust header tune, probably $10k of work for 50hp
thats a good mechanic
nice presentation and process
A tune on my 17’ 5.7 truck gained 40hp on the dot. If you do the math on it with the times it ran stock vs tuned.
It's just not enough power gains from the cams for the cost to install, i think I'll go the boosted route with mine and keep it at 7pounds of boost
And you'll blow that engine up, unless you have forged internals
@@omardiaz4427a lil drop in piston and rod kit will do the job just fine
My cam they made 496 whp with holts on and 93 oct
What setup you running? Also what motor?
Love to see it!! NA!!!
I'm curious what cam they put in. I'm thinking they put in the stage one Comp Cam.
You are telling me a NSR cam helped pick up over 50? was the final tuning done on 93? There are some specs missing here that do not tell the whole story.
Not just a cam. Intake, long tube headers, and a high flow cat.
How long does this take?
It’s bit crazy how a cam install started with taking the dashboard apart lol I get it tho
Mopar let’s go!!!!
Those scatpacks are tapped out from factory
Wdym?

Sounded better stock
Did you put a sanding pad on the block at 4:20??
Loosing on the top end though RPMs dropping off quicker than when it was stock must of wanted this for short 30 mph pulls and not top end
Was this man building a hemi with a song from frozen in the background?
what would something like this cost? I am asking parts and labor.
Price $ for this package?
I'm next...
Great job, lets hope the owner puts a super charger next..🤞.....✌️
Still makes less than an e85 tune only Gen 3 coyote
What’s with the dip at 4500rpm?
The 392 has active runners in the intake manifold that switch between short and long
The Stage 3 Charger made 25 more hp.

Great video but spending 10k for 50hp is delusional.
Some good N/A gains. Too bad it’s 13k+ for 50hp. They do good work but you pay an arm and a leg.
Only 50hp for all of that
They didn't leave much on the table with the 392 its mostly torque, you can break the tires loose just lookin at it, if the cars where lighter it'd make sense to re-map that tune for more hp.
For 10k 50hp
No wonder why me 445whp shit strap e30 tuned 300c 5.7 beats them stock scats 😅
All that work n the owner still has the mufflers in 😭😭😭😭😭at least he/she could of straightPiped it as well
No chop
That’ll be a cool 10k 😢
so much money for 50HP, no wonder they don’t keep up with my f150
Well if your

Mustangs totally suck.
Little baby cam. A good cam in a 6.4 will put it over 500whp without headers
? Thats it?? 50hp... for all that $$ and work? Doesn't even sound good.
That's a 10% bump in power, which is what a cam upgrade usually does.

Mopar engines are trash. Why is there a huge loss of torque at 4300 rpm? Trash ass truck engines. Gm and ford will always be superior
