Ram exhaust has no flex pipes, so the whole thing moves when the engine torques on the mounts...
The cammed Ram for the win. Flowmasters may not flow a good as a straight through mufflers but they can handle more power.

I'll never go back to flowmaster. I just put on a borla attack crate muffler and sounds way better. I've done the super 44, then super 10, magnaflow, straight pipe so borla for the win plus the flowmaster rusts to quick

Blue ram could use a H pipe. Might help smooth that rasp sound out.
I think that blue one needs a hanger right behind the turn out to stop it moving so much that’s how stuff breaks. And I like how it’s got a snorkel on it but never been off the road let alone in mud and not a chance in hell of water deeper then the tread on the tire.
I love my 5.7 ram but they just don't sound as good as the old Mangum engines.
Get a Borla Atak exhaust and you’ll be singing a different tune.

Aerotek exhaust AT3030 would be perfect. Straight through design no packing, and they're used on Nascar cars. Plus they sound amazing 👏
Amen......I put Flowmaster on mine ( without a tune) and lost hp and mpg.
Anyone every try a glasspack on the 5.7 . I used to have one on the 318 engine and it sounded great !! Got compliments all the time.
Only issues with glasspacks, the fiberglass over time wears down and can form a fiberglass clog in the muffler. Atleast that's what my buddy says and he's a muffler technician. He always recommends using aeroteck mufflers because they don't use packing.
I’ve thought about about adding a cam to my headers but don’t know how practical it would be as a daily 🤷🏻♂️

As long as you spec the right cam, and not just go for high lift why not?
Works fine as a daily if you use a cam that still keeps the VVT and doesn't lock it out.

It was trx inspired, even a real trx doesnt put down 600 to the wheels cause of the tires and drivetrain
With it being cammed that puts near the trx range
I have a 19 ram with a muffler delete it’s quit when normal driving but when you gas on it or cold start it gets very loud
Mine is the same but I want it louder during idle that chopping sound

The Flowmaster super 44 sounds good but drones out too much and sounds like crap when the MDS kicks in on the 5.7. I switched mine out for a Magnaflow 14 in. Nice truck though!

Anything sounds like shit with mds. I'm so used to it now every time I put it into drive I turn on manual shift up to 8. I need to get a tuner and get rid of that crap lol
I just bought a similar truck, same engine, 2010 4x4, getting headers, just wish you included the lift and tire/rim size in the video. Specs+++ response hoped for, please don't ask me to go somewhere else to find this info. 🙂🙂🙂

Absolutely not. You will blow out Flowmaster baffles long before anything let's loose on a Borla.
The Amazon link is for a single inlet & outlet, doesn’t the RAM 1500 have single inlet and dual outlet?
On the 16 truck it does, the 19 has a single in/out and goes to a Y pipe. Have flowmaster on mine and removed the resonators before the tips. I enjoy the sound.
I’ve got the same setup as the black truck. Thinking about taking of those rear resonators. It’s way too quiet
I took mine off and it wasn't too loud or to much drone. But keep in mind everyone has a different opinion.
Also I would recommend a tune after doing so as I lost a noticeable amount of hp and mpg by doing that without a tune. ( honestly I wished I had gone with a more free flowing style of muffler)
You don’t get a lot of limited’s for exhausts it looks like, is there a reason for that? You seem to get more Laramie’s
Limiters are expensive lol. Most people only keep them stock. Gonna be lifting my limited and doing a muffler and res delete in the next few weeks

Lifter tick, a lot of 5.7s do it. Sometimes it can be the header bolts if its a really loud tick/rattle

Maybe if it was the 3.6 pentastar you'd be right at 200 wheel. But these 2 trucks are the 5.7. Stock they make 395 crank and around 300 wheel. Definitely more power then a 5.3 blow-tie
