I've been using swift key on iPhone for years because it just looks way nicer. However, I just tried switching over to gbosrd and I feel like the text correction is way better right away even with no teaching of the keyboard. I expected swift key to be better with all the data they have on me.
I miss the days of when Android had dozens of alternatives. Now we are stuck with one tech giant versus another because they both wanna have access to our data by whatever means they can. Fleksy used to be amazing, now though the dev team is keen on just allowing the app to rot with the other abandoned apps while selling their SDK to other developers.
I live in a multi language country and I use up to 7 languages daily. Using the Gboards translation tools are an amazing feature that I absolutely love. My only complaint is the Gboards text prediction is nowhere near as good as SwiftKey. No text prediction after punctuation is really annoying.
Using SwiftKey for 4 years and happy with AI features and strong predictions Been rocking SwiftKey for four years now, and I gotta say, the AI features and predictions are on point!
On some banking apps a completely different numeric keyboard comes up for security reasons it happens with event keyboard you use it's the banks way of ensuring that SwiftKey doesn't have access to any info. But it has not happened for me on the apps like excel
SwiftKey is much better by the way (for me) I was having issues with the sensitivity on my curved screen edges. I was able to resize SwiftKey to get the keys away form the edge of the screen. Also the gboard autocorrect wouldn't work a lot of the time. I would spend more time backspace and correcting misspelled words then actually typing

I like the new ai in the samsung keyboard but prefer the layout of SwiftKey...also it depends on what phone you are using ...I'm using the s24 ultra..so the samsung ai is built in ..the funny thing I recently tried gboard but didn't like it even though it has the highest ratings....hope this helps ...I would luv for you to subscribe to my channel it really helps
I wonder if these other keyboards are trustworthy. My phone mentioned that any keyboard you install can see if you passwords... Given the way people sell our data, I don't know what to think about that
you are right but if either of these 2 companies ( Microsoft or Google )were caught giving away our passwords I think they would lose all credibility...it's not in there interest to do so ..in fact I think using them or samsung is more secure than using a third party keyboard..but I also admit I'm not a security expert. my next review will be on the Samsung keyboard. @@HowardPosener I assume you're right about that, it is pretty scary how easily you can be hacked. I think the future is biometric data, fingerprints ect. Anybody can see your screen with Screencast software. If somebody gets one password they can change your others and ruin your life

I'm on Team SwiftKey since 2012. Gboard and Samsung keyboards are good but I'm just too happy with SwiftKey.

That is the same reason that keep me on Gboard. Rate correction on swiftkey is high.

Anyone knows why SwiftKey goes 'off' on certain apps (doesn't do word prediction), e.g. banking apps, Microsoft Excel, typing file names on OneDrive?
