Correction - SwiftKey has an option of emoji suggestions which if enabled provides you with a suggestion of an emoji so that when you type moon you get the 🌙 emoji and also the Quick Emoji tab provides with the smart emoji suggestions based on the sentence. Apart from that SwiftKey predictions are way smarter than gboard. Also on SwiftKey you could type in upto 5 languages without changing the language (multi lingual typing).

For example, if I'm having a hard time spelling the word "privilege" and I'm sounding out the word and type "privalege" instead. It will keep it that way. But if I google the word, it automatically suggests the correct spelling "did you mean privilege".... I wish my SwiftKey keyboard would do that for me... Spell out my word for me. Besides that, I love everything about SwiftKey. Just a perfect keyboard 👍🏽
Gboard is faster and lighter. I noticed when I was in PUBG bringing up the keyboard for chatting Gboard loads instantly while Swiftkey lags. And as for predictions Gboard for me is best Swiftkey sometimes saves incorrectly typed words you made and resuggests them in future.

I would use the Google keyboard all of the time if it actually managed to capitalize the letter "I" correctly. Every other keyboard on Android does this but for some reason this issue still hasn't been fixed and there's actual threads which other people have the exact same issues. SwiftKey is great, and the themes are great, but there's just sometimes that the typing doesn't feel as fluid as what Google has with their keyboard

I had noticed a bit difference in a correct prediction and auto-correction, when getting new Pixel 7 , which now had Gboard installed by default. SwiftKey is way more responsive for me, prediction and auto-correct are a tier better, it just understands me.
SwiftKey it's top 👌specialty it's very light and fast without any latency also the SwiftKey shows very large and comfortable letter size, also SwiftKey predication it's very accurate.
I like swiftkey over Google Keyboard due to the size you can put the keyboard and the way the selection on top bar perdiction are In bold which is easier to read in sunny days. But when I'm typing my email Gboard won't auto complete. And I switch to Swiftkey Keyboard and it just nails Auto complete. But when I try to log in on another cell phone with the same account, the clipboard I saved could not appear on another cell phone and I have to recreate it again. I love gboard. Swipe space bar to move cursor. Swipe backspace to select and deleted words. Translate within keyboard. Scribble to text. Clipboard to copy paste multiple text at the same time and also pin text to clipboard so they permanently stay there and u can paste whenever u want. Floating keyboard really useful in multi app split screen mode.
I have been using gboard for the longest time.. Very comfortably but recently after a reinstall, I couldn't get my personal dictionary up anymore again. So am trying swiftkey and it's holding up well so far except for predictions which are not on par with gboard probably due to the app's initial learning curve.
You have to activate the emoji prediction on SwiftKey, but it does predicts emojis also, I used gboard for long but when I discovered SwiftKey there was no doubt on my mind that this SwiftKey wins all the way!

I don't like how they all collect your data. Does Apple do this to its users as well?? What's the point of encryption in Signal, or DuckDuckGo if they can easily log your keystrokes??
@Swiftypop hey there. No it works well for me. Been with it for a loooong time now. Only issue for me now is the translate function. It works well with 4g but when I'm on wifi it refuses to translate.

Long press for symbols is also available in Gboard but it comes off by default, it has to be turned on in the settings.

I think that gboard has more featured than SwiftKey but the maximum size of gboard is very small so i prefer SwiftKey for that reason.

I'd say both are good. They both have stuff that can do more stuff than the other keyboard, like gboard can translate, but swiftkey has good predictions. I'm using both.

I found SwiftKey best out of 15 keyboards I tried, I have G board as well but use less.
Gboard is smoother better looking, sleeker more customizable and better overall but SwiftKey is better for larger hands

for me Swiftkey is better but since the new Android 10 update it doesn't show the new emojis so for now im using Gboard

if you come from Apple I phone usage, nothing can give you the same experience, it's much much better and are instantaneous.

Emoji use on gboard is nicer. Predictions of normal text in SwiftKey is better, not perfect by any means though.
