    I love how realistic your videos are, I’m so glad you don’t edit out the mat moving and clothing adjustments and fixing your hair and all the sweating, because it is disheartening to attempt perfect looking workout videos.       I fifth your motion. I have the first insanity, and insanity max30. I have completed not a single one. I did maybe 3 dvds out of 15 per set, and never continue in them (i've had them for about 10 years). Her workouts are the first workout videos I have done and am doing continually, and I see changes and muscles. Also, I feel stronger. (All mixed with healthy eating habits, of course)

    Can I just say, I love that you don't look airbrushed 24/7 whilst working out. It's so demoralizing to see fitness/ workout instructors doing a 30-40 min workout with absolutely no sweat or shine or even out of breath. It's super refreshing to see someone normal. Thanks Jo!

      I’m so sorry. I’m not gonna say my age but I’m younger than you and I am very insecure about my body. Jo has helped me SOOO much not just by getting fit but also being confident and getting me up and sweaty. I have been doing her workouts for a while now and they work amazing! Don’t give up, they take time to see results.

      hi! just wanted to say, you shouldn't work out just because of other people being nasty to you, you are worthy of love and kindness regardless of how you look. of course exercise is very healthy for anyone and it makes you feel good. not just for weight loss. so i'm not discouraging you from working out, i'm simply hoping you re-evaluate the reasons. :)

      30 minutes of excerise is no joke you should be proud!! I made the mistake of doing two others before this and couldn't get this finished but made it my goal to get to the 15 minute mark!!! You should be so proud

    I started your workouts last year in hotel quarantine (Australia's strict lockdown rules) and after losing my Mum it's one of the only things getting me through the day/week/tough times. Showing up for myself four times a week with your videos has built a new habit while I process grief and covid fatigue. Thank you so much for everything you do for the community.       Mine shows 200 calories burnt, could it be because of my watch or something else. I use amazfit watch. I'm 94 kgs

      @@jananee9311 could be due to age weight height! Watches arent 100% accurate and will always be different. Also could be your heart rate wasnt getting high enough to count as exercise.

    Was in an 8 year relationship that turned me into a lazy house cat, fell deep into a depression pit and let all my true loves go. I gave up hiking, walking, and dancing for him because he'd rather play video games. I finally opened my eyes and did a quick search thank you for being so easy to find and so motivational without any kind of negativity. When you say do it your way if it's easier its okay, I love that! I don't move as light as a dancer anymore 😂I felt my heart grow 3 sizes bigger and I was smiling too!       @@adsullivan while I’m not the commenter you asked, maybe I can help you! I am in a calorie deficit of 1600 calories and I do her videos plus 20 min Pilates. I’ve lost 5.3 kg in 4 weeks and this is with rest days I injured myself so my progress was slow but I didn’t gain weight! Her videos are great y’all :) I’m 16 but overweight

      I agree so much! Some of these other TH-cam workouts are far too advanced for someone who is not a workout pro like myself. I need something that keeps me moving, but that doesn’t make me feel like I won’t be able to walk tomorrow. This is perfect!

      @@txm_xnx_ well you need to be gentle with yourself and don't rush it. Workout 4-5x a week, walk a lot if you can, drink a lot of water (my tip is to get a cute water bottle to motivate you), and eat well, a lot of protein for breakfast! Food is not an enemy, eat whatever you want in moderation. Also if you stress a lot, try meditations, that is really important. Good luck!

    So I recently started my fitness journey at the gym 2 months ago, I’m trying to go down from 80kg to 70kg but it’s been a bit tough achieving this as I’m dealing with PCOS as well. Recently I’ve been going through some financial difficulties and I had to suspend my gym subscription as a result and I’ve been feeling guilty for it , until I found your account on TH-cam. I’m glad to say that today makes day 5 of my workout with Jo and I’m loving every step of it,i sweat lot after a 20/30 mins session and I feel a lot better about not going to the gym anymore, I hope I can be consistent with it and see some progress.     I love everything about this: the music, her vibe, the workout is challenging enough to sweat, but low impact for my bad knees. Being able to freestyle is also so fun! 10/10.

    I fell off being consistent with only being 5 pounds away from reaching my 200 pound goal. I haven't gained any weight luckily with me being lazy this last month. This video out of your lineup is one of my favorite. It always put me in a happy mood. I lost 35 pounds so far since starting my journey. I'm not going to give up on me. Here's to consistency!

    This is my favorite of all her workouts! Why? because like it says on the cover page it's a total mood booster... I exercise for two reasons. 1. to maintain my sexiness(obviously) and 2. for my mental health. This workout always pulls me out of a bad mood and gets my day started right. I love how jo keeps it silly and smiles and laughs while she does the work outs. I feel like I know JO lol she's like my virtual work out buddy.

    The first time I did this I thought it was impossible and so hard and that I'd never do it again but your positive energy just dragged me back here day after day after day I've done this literally every single day for like three weeks. I physically can't stop doing this every day. Each time I finish it feels like im dying inside and i think i can never do it again, but the next day I just come back for more and the next and the next. tysm omg

    I'm almost 60 years old and so glad that I found you. Perfect amount of cardio and if my shoulder ( injured in my 30s) acts up I can modify. I avoid getting on the ground for exercises as this is perfect!

    It's Day 3 of me doing this workout and I am so proud of myself! I've split up this video into 3 parts so that I do 10 minutes three times a day. (That's the only way to make it doable for me. Soon I'll be able to do the whole 30 minutes start to finish).
    My starting measurements are:
    Bust: 44.5in
    Under bust: 37in
    Waist: 38in
    Love handles: 52in
    Hips: 53in
    I'll check back in each week until I reach a month. 💋

    Been very depressed and struggling to even take care of myself after a breakup. Today I did this workout and almost quit after about 10 minutes bc I'm so uncoordinated. But I stuck it out. Love your energy and thanks for just blasting music and not a bunch of talking lol

    This is the first workout Ive done in years. At first I seen how long it was and had no motivation to do it. I started and took a break wondering if i should give up but i got back up and finished the workout. I was sweating the whole way through but after I felt amazing. Will keep doing this.     I have chronic Lyme disease so getting out of bed and functioning is really hard for me most days. But I have made a commitment to myself to get up and exercise every morning. This morning was especially hard with symptoms, but I completed this and am feeling so PROUD and honestly so much better! Thanks so much, Jo!!!!

    This is my fifth GrowwithJo workout and I am absolutely loving how fun they are. I’ve been on a fitness journey for about 5 months now trying to find something that brings me joy. I found that with Jo at a perfect time because I’m battling depression right now. I woke up down in the dumps and now I’m feeling ready for the day. I plan on doing workouts 4-6 times a week.     Accountability check!
    Day 1: 2 mile arms and abs
    Day 2: 3 mile cardio dance
    Day 3: morning metabolism boost (only managed 20 minutes but 20 more than I would've done anyway)
    Day 4: 35 min sweaty leg cardio (felt so energised with this one!)
    Day 5 & 6: Uni exams 😢
    Day 7: cardio for beginners. I couldn't just do that one. I've had 2 days without workouts so I've also done Day 1 full body cardio weights
    Day 8: Day 2 leg day cardio weights and core. I really struggled today, a lot of negativity around me but I did it 🎉💪
    Day 9: FAST 3 mile dance party

    Good morning. I've been wanting to mention that I use your videos because the Beat of the Music is exceptional and when I go up to the Y I use that for my 30 to 45 minute treadmill workout. As of today between power walking, working out to your videos and changing my diet I am down to 225 lbs this morning!!!     I've recently found your channel and it's been amazing. I workout for an hour every morning but once I get to the office, I am sitting for most of the day. At 53, I am in very good shape but have started gaining weight in my midsection (middle aged spread is REAL) and could not do anything to stop the weight gain for the past year. This month, I started cutting down on sugar and carbs and started a commitment to 10,000 steps daily. Every day at work, I choose an hour long workout, shut my door and walk with you for ten minutes at a time throughout the day until I complete the video. I have hit 10K steps easily for the past two weeks and I am already down four pounds. I love your energy and thank you for these accessible workouts. If you are at home and looking to get started, just do it.

After taking months off of working out while I was pregnant (as I was advised to do so due to a health concern by my doctor) as soon as I was cleared to do so I started your workouts postpartum and they absolutely changed my life mentally and physically!     Been exercising to reduce my blood pressure. A week in, and it seems to be working well. Was so out of shape that I had to start with doing 10 minute routines three times a day. Just completed this workout all in one go on my first attempt tonight... on top of having done a ten minute routine this morning. I was smiling the whole time, even while sweating up a storm. My blood pressure tonight was 125/81almost out of the elevated category. When I started that lower number was regularly trending around 100, and now I'm mostly in the 80s and sometimes below. Thank you Jo for making the exercise fun.
    Also, my mom wanted me to tell you that she likes to watch you too because you're always smiling and upbeat.

      I was upset about something yesterday.. and decided to do a SECOND workout (it’s a different one of hers BUT..) I felt happier & was in a much better mood by the mid way point and so Inspired that I actually did feel better.. I sped up my pace until the very end!

    I did this today to get into working out again and I loved every minute of it! Usually I hate planning “strength” days and “cardio” days etc. and this video was both in one, including amazing music, a feel-good atmosphere and just overall made me so happy to have gotten my body moving! I will continue doing your workouts every day and then do a nice stretching routine to keep flexible (I want to lose 20 pounds until the end of the year! )
    I used light dumbbells (3 pounds) to challenge my upper body and it worked just fine! (It also helped me focus on my core and keep it tight at all times, which made me feel my abs even better!)
    I felt exhausted but happy and accomplished at the end! The shower afterwards felt like a gift! You are my gift Jo!

    One of my favorites, i have a few in my playlist that i do on repeat! They are fun, easy, you get all the sweat you need and it is effective as long as you are consistant! I do mine once a day monday threw friday. It works! I do aprehend the fact that thanksgiving is in the corner i m not gona lie i know it a going to be hard to come back to that routine, but i always do! I ve been on her chanel for 2 years she s amazing. Thank you! ❤

    Have loved this workout for almost 3 years! I’m 22 weeks pregnant and so SO grateful for these workouts. They helped me lose the weight after my last baby and have helped me stay MUCH healthier this time around.

    I just finished 2 days in a row and already i feel so much stronger. You fill me w serotonin :) thank you for making me motivated. Updates below.
    Start: 147
    Day 1: ✅️ I started to get so tired right after the water break. But I completed it :) it's the first workout I've finished completely through without pausing so yay!
    Day 2: ✅️ Ate a protein bar today. I found the workout so much easier. About 25:10 was when it started to get rough. But definitely WAY easier than yesterday
    Day 3: ✅️ I think the hardest part about today was motivating myself to do it. Cuz compared to day 1, this was so much easier. I still started to get tired at 25:10, but, I got through more of it without taking a second today than any other day!
    Day 4: ❌️ had work/rest day. Did 4,852 steps though
    Day 5: ❌️ had work/rest day. Did 6,089 steps
    Day 6: ✅️ I did it! Today was rough cuz I REALLY didn't wanna do it. I had to push myself hard. My knee also hurt at first (I have knee problems) but I pushed through. It was a super low energy day.
    Day 7: ✅️ i didnt get a lot of sleep so today was pretty rough, i had to push myself again and im proud of myself for not quitting. Physically, I'm able to do way more than I did day 1. It didn't feel like a challenge today like it did the rest of the days. That was until after water break. I'm determined to finish this workout ONCE without stopping for a 10 sec break at 25:10.
    Day 8: ✅️ omg I almost forgot to update! Today I felt really good. I had so much energy despite only getting 3.5 hrs of sleep. I pushed through 25:10 but had to take a second around 28:18 due to my knee. And with the quick feet I had to stop at 10 secs left again due to my knee. Besides that I pushed through and almost considered doing more workout cuz I felt so energized after. Decided not to so I could work up to it instead of tiring myself out and not wanting to do it tmm
    Day 9: ✅️ I'm gonna start running late soon but I only got 2.5 hrs of sleep so this was really hard motivation wise. Physically though, I pushed through almost every exercise except the quick feet due to my knee. On the knee though, I feel like my knee problems are almost starting to improve. I've had knee problems all my life because I lock my knee when I stand. My right knee never really hurts anymore. My left knee is the issue, but it's definitely improving!
    Day 10: ✅️ I cannot stress enough how much when I finish this workout I'm shocked that I did. In proud of myself for continually pushing through even when half the time I have no motivation. I always end up having fun with it, especially the freestyle parts. They always feel so personalized to me
    Day 11: ❌️rest day/had work. Completed 5,474 steps though
    Day 12: ❌️ rest day. Started feeling under the weather
    This will be my last update as I wanted to progress consistency to show how well it works for someone who hadnt worked out in months and was extremely overweight (bmi 34.2), and I caught covid, so I'm unable to continue for now
    End results: 144.7 as of 3rd rest day (3 lbs⬇️). I felt extremely more energy, especially considering I got almost no sleep. I began to drink almost a gallon a day. But I didn't feel so sluggish. And most of all, I was happy with myself and proud for pushing every morning at 7am haha. I felt so much stronger. Clothes began to fit me better, and you can quite literally see it in a span of 2 weeks. Thank you jo! I can't wait to start this again in a week when I feel better

      @@sunsetz2341 I want to preface by saying physically, I notice a difference in my body. Small things like my shorts don't fold at the rim too much and my bra doesn't fit as snug. Anyway, I gained a lb (148) since the start of this. I should mention haven't been dieting, but have upped my water intake. This also may not be entirely accurate as it's hours after I woke up

      @@themarquis22 I want to, but I don't have a measuring tape 😅. I'm actually in the process of making a video on this, and I'm gonna have before and after shots. That's the only way I can track my progress
