It's not called instant coffee, it is called Dalgona Coffee. You just use instant coffee as ingredient and instant coffee becomes drinkable coffee when you put a lot of water....
Tip: I make this a lot because this is a staple where I live if you add really little water like *very* little it'll be much quicker like just enough to kind of wet the sugar and coffee and it'll be much faster
Yes it would you could alter it to your taste you could more sugar as well it's really more about the texture, adding less water and beating it really well.
Someone needs to make a device that you can just throw the ingredients in and it makes the Dalgona for you while you get a glass of milk ready. I know there's an electric mixer. I'm thinking something small with very little cleanup.

In January i go to my Pakistani friend home, she offer me her "secret recipe" coffee. After month i see it everywhere in korean youtuber channel called "Dalgona". 🤣
Yeah, this has been around for YEARS. It's just now getting popular due to someone from South Korea discovering it. That someone must have been very influential. It's definitely not called Dalgona. Considering that it's true origin is hard to pin-point (as there are many people around the world who have grown up to this drink), it's best to dub it whipped coffee and leave it as that. The whole "Dalgona" title is misleading.
@@gcbeautylover1 I think you are right, Cause Dalgona is a cookie made by melted sugar and soda. (Not drink) So someone (probably Korean) introducing this, think it's better to localize the name so that other Korean people to feel more interested.

hot water dissolves granules better than cold water does

use less water, so mixing it by hand doesn't take a lot of time
Using a stand mixer or something will give you the same results in about 5 minutes
Tip: I make this a lot because this is a staple where I live if you add really little water like *very* little it'll be much quicker like just enough to kind of wet the sugar and coffee and it'll be much faster
Would it work if I use less ground coffee aswell? The taste was a bit too strong for my liking

(Not drink)
