Mick's chaotic flamboyance, facial close ups, and unpredictable body movements are what makes their music videos as catchy as the song itself

I remember watching the Stones as a kid and never understood why Mick performed the way he did with the exaggerated facial expressions and flamboyant body gestures. Until…, I watched this video, listened to the lyrics and understood the picture he was painting with this story of heartbreak and yearning. Any man that has been young and been broken up with by someone they really dug a lot can relate. He performs to the point of absurdity but it is a perfect analogy of how we look and feel when we go through something like this at an inexperienced and young age. Mick is a genius and understands story telling and performative art. IMO, this version of the song is better than the album cut because of Mick’s performance, a certified banger! Sorry for the word salad, I just appreciate this video so much.

Not only is this the raunchiest groove, it's also funny as flip. The Stones always had the wickedest sense of humour and were not shy to self-deprecate, or self-lubricate for that matter. Miss you Charlie. A touch so subtle yet so refined. The best possible drummer The Stones could ever have had. A gentleman in every sense of the word. R.I.P.

At 61, my biggest surprise has been that my great-nephews want my old albums. The twins want my Doors, and their little brother wants my Rolling Stones. They got box sets for Christmas and loved it.
They aren't stupid. They're tuning out of the crap, turning it off, and turning on to great music.
Their parents aren't stupid either. I'm proud of them. We raised them right.

No reason, it just made us happy. It was such a great time and I miss him a lot. Our lives went different ways. There wasn't any conflict nor anything, just life, you know? Different paths. LYRICS
I've been holdin' out so long
    I've been sleepin' all alone
    Lord, I miss you
I've been hanging on the phone
    I've been sleeping all alone
I want to kiss you sometime
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Well, I've been haunted in my sleep
You've been starrin' in my dreams
    Lord, I miss you, child
I've been waitin' in the hall
    Been waitin' on your call
    Your phone rings
It's just some friends of mine that say
    "Hey, what's the matter, man?
We're gonna come around at twelve
With some Puerto Rican girls that's just dyin' to meet you
We're gonna bring a case of wine
Hey, let's go mess and fool around
You know, like we used to"
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Oh everybody waits so long
Oh baby, why you wait so long?
Won't you come on, come on
    I've been walking Central Park
    Singin' after dark
    People think I'm crazy
    Stumbling on my feet
    Shuffling through the street
Asking people, "What's the matter with you, boy?"
Sometimes I want to say to, to myself
    Sometimes I say
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    I won't miss you, child
I guess I'm lying to myself
It's just you and no one else
Lord, I won't miss you, child
You've just been blottin' out my mind
    Foolin' on my time
No, I won't miss you, baby, yeah
    Lord, I miss you child
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Lord, I miss you, child
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
