My ascension happened at a Safeway when I had a cart full of groceries and they closed all of the checkout lines and made me go through the self-checkout. I understand your pain.
This.. This right here is what happens when people approach a project with passion. All the characters, no matter the size of the role, had personality. Honestly, well done!
Angron´s speech about his brothers and sisters after he returned back to Nuceria is one of the greatest speeches of heresy books. Remembering them made him somewhat sane but just broken and gone.

Easily one of the best animated representations of the horrors of Angrons past, his "rise" and finally his corruption, unique writing but heavily resourced from the actual novels. Incredible work guys, the animators, the scripting, the voice actors, awesome job and thank you for this! PS: Angron will always be the most tragic and compelling primarch, he should have been so much more. For the 12th!

As a casual 40k fan who loves the lore but has never played the tabletop, this brought the series to life for me in a way that no other 40k related media has. Fantastic work, thank you so much for creating & sharing!
The Saddest part of this story is that the Emperor could have saved Angron's family, but didn't. He could have removed the nails, but he didn't. All of it could have been avoided. On a side note, Wonderfully done! A very well put together video. And such perfect voice acting!
The Emperor tried to find a way to remove the Butcher’s Nails, but they were crudely installed and didn’t mesh well with Primarch physiology - meaning they could not be removed without killing Angron.
@@hinglemccringleberry7837chances are while it could be possible to remove them . That would mean the emperor would have a spend some time planning out the process of removing the nails. Which what I’m imagining is like playing Horrid noddle game but if you remove the wrong noodle more brain damage.

@@luckysandman5867 is pretty much is the latter of things as the emperor really had a short sighted mind when it came to looking at the big picture of things, not really giving much care for the little things angron nails were those little thing he did not care for an only focus on his projects. His sons were nothing more then a product of his creation to continue his plans. Which failed so bad that he made things more worst then good in the end, he was a short sighted demigod who did have humanity heart with good intentions but went about it in the worst possible way that he ended up dooming humanity and leaving it for humanity and his remaining sons to try and fix.
I always liked the idea that Angron liked the sons that rebelled against him and the nails and stand up for themselves unwilling to be slaves. To take the choice that he didn’t have and stand by it.

I also have to praise the voice talent all across the board as their stellar performance made for a truly captivating listen.

gotta be real for just a second this video that i've randomly stumble across has made me think more than any piece of media i've seen before it, and that's saying something. i've never felt so much empathy for something, or rather someone that doesn't even exist, and at the same time felt so much shame and disappointment. Angron's story is sad but a necessary one, despite the Grim-Dark setting i do believe that one day Angron and his legion will be set free in the same nihilistic way Angron thought of it at the beginning of this video. i want to be an active part of this community the day Angron can utter the words "I am free" no matter how many decade of waiting that may take.

Fucking beautiful. Angron is my favorite Primarch and I think you did an absolutely sublime job telling his tragic tale in its entirety. The Angron VA has without a doubt the best portrayal of the Lord of the Red Sands that I've ever heard and perfectly captured his descent into blood-soaked madness. Honestly, my only minor complaint is that we didn't get the full "Courage and honor" speech that Angron gives Guilliman like we did his speech to Russ during the Night of the Wolf, as I think it's one of the most iconic moments for him, but everything else is just so damn good that it really doesn't detract from the overall package.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We so badly wanted to include the final speech with Guilliman, as well as at least 5 or 6 other scenes that I can think of just off the top of my head. By the time we got to the end of this script, we had more than 15k words just for the main narration and adding anymore would have been a real challenge. Next Primarch video we do, however, we’re going to try and pack everything in!

gotta be real for just a second this video that i've randomly stumble across has made me think more than any piece of media i've seen before it, and that's saying something. i've never felt so much empathy for something, or rather someone that doesn't even exist, and at the same time felt so much shame and disappointment. Angron's story is sad but a necessary one, despite the Grim-Dark setting i do believe that one day Angron and his legion will be set free in the same nihilistic way Angron thought of it at the beginning of this video. i want to be an active part of this community the day Angron can utter the words "I am free" no matter how many decade of waiting that may take.

Fucking beautiful. Angron is my favorite Primarch and I think you did an absolutely sublime job telling his tragic tale in its entirety. The Angron VA has without a doubt the best portrayal of the Lord of the Red Sands that I've ever heard and perfectly captured his descent into blood-soaked madness. Honestly, my only minor complaint is that we didn't get the full "Courage and honor" speech that Angron gives Guilliman like we did his speech to Russ during the Night of the Wolf, as I think it's one of the most iconic moments for him, but everything else is just so damn good that it really doesn't detract from the overall package.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We so badly wanted to include the final speech with Guilliman, as well as at least 5 or 6 other scenes that I can think of just off the top of my head. By the time we got to the end of this script, we had more than 15k words just for the main narration and adding anymore would have been a real challenge. Next Primarch video we do, however, we’re going to try and pack everything in!
