- Boba Fett is confronted by a water-monger named Lortha Peel who accuses a local biker gang of stealing his water. Fett and Fennec Shand team up with the gang to take on Mayor Shaiz, after an assassination attempt by Black Krrsantan. Meanwhile, the Hutts gift Boba a new Rancor and we learn what happens to the Tusken camp.

I think we’re gonna see the badass female Tuscan return. We would have had a close up on her if she died, since she was so crucial to his arc in the 2nd episode.

As mentioned there was many tribes of Tuscans, she may be telling the others of pykes, bobas gonna have a lot of backup for his war if they back him, and I'm sure the mandalorian crew may help as din djarins voice was in the trailer

Two things:
1) How do we know the pikes didn't frame the biker gang? They had reason to remove the sand people and pin the bikers for it.
2) we didn't see all of the sand people taken out. That boss looking black robed tuskin wasn't shown and we don't know if the speeder bikes were taken by the surviving sand people or whomever killed them.
Your #1 was my first thought. The Pikes setting up the biker gang for the fall would increase their influence on Tatooine and also tie the flashbacks of the past into the present by showing they were all related. I do hope that over the next couple episodes we see that Boba has united the Tuskan tribes and uses their desert power to combat the "Harkkonen" Pikes.
I thought the same, it's like how the troopers making the attack on the Jawa's in New Hope look like Tuscan

I bet the baddass tusken and the child either fled or were taken captive, but they'll return at the conclusion of the past storyline to help with the current storyline against the pikes and the mayor

This episode had a lot of little surprises and references. I loved the mention of the witches of Dathomir.

Can't believe they did Tuskens like that. Those are some shiny bikes. Fett's army grows. Badass wookie! Rancor and Danny Trejo sweet! Reference the Holiday Special! Great "car chase" scene. To war we go!
Boba is all about inverting expectations. I think that's how they're writing this character & story. Ex: Tuskens as familia, Daimyo who fights his own battles, no torture, ruling with respect, y riding thru the barrio on a rancor.

I love how we get to see Boba Fett build up his stable in this series. When he started there was only Fenick by his side. Now he has her, the two green pigmen and a cyber punk biker gang with him. I think by the end he will have a full court of tuffs that will include B.K. and possibly many more.
Don't forget the rancor and Danny Trejo.

Trouble with star Wars there is an awful lot of gatekeeping with so called ' fans". I want a great story told well. This show makes me smile all the time. I do believe some of the tribe survived. I hope we see the sheriff come back with his associate ' tribe' in the present.

Agreed on basically all fronts. People are very reactionary especially since it’s one episode a week so they don’t get the answers immediately. IMO we are not done with the Tuskens especially since he was chillin with Tuskens when we first saw him in Mando. But people would much rather bitch and moan about an awesome show than notice all the great things going on.
Yep, Star Wars is 45 years old and has a massive fan base so a lot of fans will think that their reference points are 'true north'. I have fallen into that trap myself over the years being late 40s and and old school legacy guy. As for the Tuskens, it didn't look like the female warrior one was killed so I'm hoping she'll show up.
Nobody likes to be put outside the gates but legitimately Star Wars needs some pretty aggressive defending to keep people from exploiting it. If recent films hasn't shown that clearly enough just wait to see what becomes of the IP characters being created in this show in another 10 years.

I looked up the guy that plays BK - he played the BIG Predator in the recent Predators movie. Interestingly, he's not really an actor but is a make up artist first and foremost.

So in one episode we see Boba Fett get a biker gang made up of characters from Cyberpunk 2077, a new pet Rancor who is like giant adorable bulldog, and have the trainer be played by MACHETE himself Danny Trejo?!?!?! And if that wasn’t enough they make us damn near cry for the Tuskens, then immediately after that show us all why Black Krrsantan is one of the biggest badasses in all of Star Wars!!

I love watching the credits cause there's always a few surprises in there. The guy that plays BK is named Carey Jones and he's not even an actor. He's primarily a special prosthetics and effects make up artist. He's worked on all the Walking Dead shows and worked with Robert Rodriguez on Alita. Speaking of which, Rodriguez voices the Mayor Mok Shaiz and the Pyke syndicate leader is voiced by the great Phil Lamar.
I am really digging this show and it's refreshing to see some others can just enjoy things without picking them apart needlessly. Keep up the great content my friends.

There is a whole Vespa scooter many-mirror subculture. The kids in the show really resemble that. Also, for me, the most significant line of the episode was, "get him to MY bacta tank".
I hatted the teen Vespa gang... and the slow motion chase with them.... everything ells was solid
At 31:06, during the speeder chase, one of the Mod bikers crashes through a Ralph McQuarrie painting of Luke in Jabba's throne room. Except if you pause the show, Luke has been airbrushed out of the painting.

With all the cameos rumored I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of Luke, Han, Ashoka, , mando or someone we wouldn’t expect to show up in that battle. Kira and BlackDawn attacking Pikes to take Jabba’s territory. I so wanted the Rankor to be Mouchie and Boba leads his forced riding Rankor, lol

That was the world's slowest, fast bike chase. That whole sequence broke my brain a bit, but otherwise a great episode.
The speeders are Vespas. Flashy but not fast. Think of the Mods of the 1960s.
This part of the episode was horrible! I don't like Team Nickelodeon on shiny scooters - they are so out of place IMHO. I got soooo mad & had a massive WTF moment that I gave myself a migraine!!

3. Great commentary and humor throughout. Cameos have been great. Love that they get more fringe stars vs major stars. Fringe adds whereas I feel any major star would take focus away from the show and place it more on them

I see some complaints about this episode but I'm loving it. I never saw Boba as this untouchable badass that everyone expects. He wasn't unstoppable in Clone Wars or the original trilogy. He's learning along the way. Fennec is badass though. He needs to trust her more. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see the Tuskan that trained Boba to fight in this episode. I don't think they are all dead. I'm still hoping the Rancor is Moochi.
I actually really love the Boba Fett in this show. I can do without an alpha-male badass, but a guy who's struggling with the realization that he can't get ahead on his own and he has to build alliances, and he kicks ass. That's a great story.

Oh he's riding that Rancor. You can't Chekhov a gun that hard without shooting at at some point in the play. He's just going to lay low on that beast for a few episodes until you stop thinking about it then suddenly when he's surrounded and in a bad spot, BAM Boba on a Rancor.

Surely the deaths of the Tuskens is the reason Boba goes to find his armor. He will then find that Din is a hood guy bc he brokered an uneasy peace between the Tuskens and the villagers before the killing of the Krait Dragon, which is why Boba didnt just immediately kill Din on Tython.

By the end Boba will have Fennec, the power rangers, Bk, the 2 guards and the tuskan warrior that trained him. They didn't show her dead, she got away I think and his litter will be the rancor.
The chase scene reminded of Solo.
Next episode I think he will try to unite the three districts of Mos Espa against the Pyke Syndicate. Maybe thie flashback will be similar to how he did this with the remaining Tusken tribes. Also, how does he get back Slave 1/Firespray? Perhaps we'll find out next episode. Also would love to see Bossk show up.
Love this ep of the show, mostly as a huge fan of BK and more largely the comics he’s been in: Vader and Dr. Aphra. Hoping and praying this means we get some Dr. Aphra and her dope af droids in this series or some other live action series asap. But also enjoying finally getting a sense of where the show is going, we now have a broad but specific enough conflict to deal with: the pike syndicate and a crime war. Hopeful that we get more of Fennec and explore her as a character as well.

I'll be honest, this episode was a step back from the phanomenal episode 2 for me. The action sequenzes weren't as threatening and didn't have the impact and force episode 2 had. I like the idea of the biker gang who enhanced themselves with droid parts, I immediatly imagined someone with a battledroid arm (yeah I know wouldn't be that much of an enhancement haha) in the end the gang with their bikes looked more like Rodriguez pulled them out of one of his Spy Kids movies and just threw them onto Tatooine. It's a bit weird to me, I saw the Boba Fett episode in the Mandalorian season 2 and loved everything about it. When I heard the news of Robert Rodriguez producing and directing this show I was over the moon! Now his episodes feel not as badass and strong as the one of Steph Green and her Mando Episode. I still like it, I can't wait for episode 4 and I'm really excited to see where everything is going but some choices confuse me a little
I think this is about where I'm at with this episode as well. I still overall enjoyed it but there were somethings that just felt odd

I'm glad to see you guys bring up the issue with killing the tuskens, most of the other reviewers I've seen have ignored it, and while I have other, much more minor issues with this episode, their deaths are really the biggest issue I have with this episode.
Very refreshing to see you guys just enjoying the Ride. 👍 The Star Wars nerds seem to be complaining about everything again but they also forget that Jon Favreau plays a really long game, sometimes into the next season. Gonna have to stop watching them, they seem to be writing their own story then being upset when it doesn’t go the way they expected.
