First away game the 81-82 season, Yids first home game after winning the FA Cup, Clemence (allegedly England's best keeper at the time) making his home debut for those c***s, West Ham had just been promoted and we (I mean Crossy) gave them a good hiding.
I was in the pub after the game with three sick spuds fans, My Brother and his 2 mates. My brother collected me from a hospital in Surrey as a surprise, and paid for my ticket amongst spuds fans near the away supporters. He started getting really annoyed after David Cross hit that volley............What a laugh brilliant game. Best experience I’ve ever had watching West Ham.. WE tore them a new arse that night......
1 trophy from 3 cup finals this season. west ham, arsenal and chelsea. i heard that the old front wheel skids were a big club once. i don't believe it myself.
I will never forget this game, I missed the result on the news at 21.30 so knocked next door and asked my neighbour what the score was! He said 4-0, I was very disappointed until he said Cross'y scored all 4 goals!! The next day at school was awsome!! Thanks DC!!
Yeah - my brother and I went to the game and on the way back stopped off for a pint on the way to the train station. All Spurs fans in there, of course. We got asked the score and a similar assumption was made when we disclosed it was 4-0. We drunk up pretty quickly and left!
Why even are there spurs fans commenting on this video? it's not for you, its for us. i would never watch a video where west ham lost, unless it was jsut a really good game. grow up and get a life!
