Dear lord, what is the story with these two? "I played softball in high school" reacts and says things as if she's never seen baseball before, ever ... Also, the 80's (beforehand, and into the 90's as well) were a different time where there wasn't a length you wouldn't go to win over/win back your woman and the effort was actually appreciated; it wasn't "stalking." The 80's and 90's were much better times without all the social media, without all the access to info (most people just don't need to know everything that happens because they cant handle it), without all the people more worried about their bullshit than actual interpersonal relationships.
Ladies, if you want to see what happened after this, then watch Major League 2. If you want to watch THE BEST baseball out there, then watch Bull Durham.
The major league Rangers are in Texas as well as the Houston Astros that you watched to decide which movie to watch! When I was a young girl, I was the only one in my neighborhood so I had to become an athletic Tomboy to be able to play with the boys. That also gave me sole choice of any boys I was interested in LOL! In high school they weren't ready to let girls play sports so my only option in high school and continuing in College was to be a Cheerleader. That is when I turned into a GIRLY Girl. So I know that in baseball the signal of one finger is ALWAYS Fastball. 👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠❤❤

This was fun. Never realized how less hysterical this movie is if you don't know anything about baseball and focus on Jake being a stalker side plot lol
I'm not sure I agree. I've seen reactions to this movie by several self-professed "definitely not sports" people and most enjoyed it. The thing is, they were watching the movie and understood the resolutions to setups introduced during previous scenes.
I just feel like Major League went for the comedy while Bull Durham was more about the lore and drive to play the game. Make sense when one is dealing with the "Major League", and the other minor league baseball and why people keep busting their humps for the one in a thousand chance that you'll actually be called up to The Show for more than a week or month. They are both extremely compelling, but I must say my preference is with BD. Kevin Costner actually played for Cal State Fullerton, probably the smallest University to have four Division I Championships, all for baseball.
This is my second time watching a reaction from this channel. I first watched Coby react to John Wick, and I hope that she continues with the rest of them. Then I got to this one, and as I am watching this, I keep thinking how similar in appearance Coby is to Christy Romano and Cami is to Eliza Dushku.

They went off on little side quests that led to later confused assumptions because they talked over dialog earlier. Simply put, watch and react to the movie. Don't put a movie on just to make a video.

Though, since Major League and Major League 2, the Indians did get good in the 90’s (making it to but losing the World Series in 1995, 97 and 2016), when Major League 1 & 2 came out, they hadn’t even made the World Series since 1954. The manager chewed out Wesley Snipes’ character for showboating what should have been a routine outfield catch. Showboating is not only considered bad sportsmanship (showing up the other team), but can easily lead to errors and misplayed balls, so players who showboat get reprimanded from their coaches.
No, this win just got them into the playoffs! The guy at the bar, He was in the TV show, Scrubs! Which had a hillarious episode, where doctor Zach, thought he was in the movie, The Fugitive! U will have to type it in here, and watch!
Glad you figured out that none of the team was actually in on the tank! lol The reason that the manager got mad at Hayes wasn't because he caught the ball but HOW he caught the ball by showing off and showboating. And the reason that Dorn tanked the grounder in the 9th of that regular season game was because he was trying to avoid injury to maintain his trade value.
Of course u watched this, the Astros are my team! Plus they've been the best team in baseball the past ten years! The announcer, Bob Euker, a good actor and the best baseball announcer ever! The owner did an excellent 80s movie with Michael J Fox called, Secret of my Success! The manager.... ironically...did a serious movie with Kevin Costner (Bull Durham,Tin cup, Field of Dreams, Love of the Game) called Revenge a very long and serious murder revenge story!! Kevin was also behind two great baseball documentaries. One he did the voice over for. Fastball and one about the greatest pitcher who ever lived, Facing Nolan! A kind of dork funny set of sports movies like this is, North Dallas Forty, Semi Tough, the original Longest Yard, The Replacements, and funniest movie ever, written by a woman!!... Slapshot! Charlie also did the drama about the 1919 Whitesox, 8 Men Out.
Also, There is currently one team in Major League Baseball not in the USA. The Toronto Blue Jays. There used to be a team in Montreal, but due to financial problems they were sold, and relocated to Washington D.C. And yes, many top stars from all over the World. Japan, and South and Central America in particular.

I'm not sure if that many players wear glasses or not. There was one pitcher, Greg Maddux, who wore them, but not during games. He had contact lenses for that.
There was a player... I think his name was walt weiss? Not sure on first name... he was an infielder in the 90s I remember baseball cards I had of him and I think he had like goggle style glassea.
